The coconut blends in really well too and makes the whole drink feel even more refreshing. I can definitely see myself coming back, especially on a hot day. The seller told me to leave the green jujubes out for 1-2 days, saying they would turn brown and become ready to eat. I followed their instructions, but instead of ripening, the jujubes never turned brown. They stayed green, became completely shriveled and dried out, and had almost no moisture left inside. They went from looking fresh to completely dried out and inedible. I have pictures showing exactly what happened, including how they looked when I received them and how they ended up. Honestly, this feels like "bait and switch" -- showing one thing in the picture and sending something completely different. Don't be fooled by the pictures or tempted to save a few dollars by buying from this place. When I contacted them about the problem, they not only refused to properly resolve it, but they were also extremely rude and disrespectful in the way they spoke to me. This is my personal experience, and I would NOT recommend buying jujubes from this seller. Save yourself the trouble and buy somewhere else.

When you ask an employee if they have a certain item, COMPLETE WITH PHOTO IN HAND, I've had them look the other way as if they don't speak English or they say "NO" without even looking at your photo. Fortunately, this is not always the case, but I've had that more than once. Some are helpful, but none are very friendly or overly accommodating. They also have the "fish fry" area if you'd into that. I've done it a few times when I can find fresh fish that meets my liking and it does turn out delicious and, of course, beats cooking it yourself. Overall, I'm fine here and the prices are "good"....

For meat, I grabbed ground beef, pork neck (currently on sale for $1.99/lb), and chicken breast. Prices were definitely reasonable. For produce, quite a few items were cheaper than H Mart, including enoki mushrooms, Japanese yam, daikon, shiitake mushrooms, tofu, and carrots. That said, the Japanese yam didn't look very fresh this time, so I ended up skipping it and buying it at H Mart instead, even though it was a bit more expensive. Some items were priced about the same as H Mart, like napa cabbage ($0.99/lb), onions ($0.39/lb), and bean sprouts ($0.99 per pack). One change I noticed is that cucumbers are now pre-packaged instead of being sold loose, so you can't pick them individually anymore. They're also slightly more expensive than H Mart now. They also had a great deal on Driscoll's strawberries, $0.99 for a 1 lb box, which is definitely worth picking up. Overall, still a great spot for affordable grocery shopping, especially if you're cooking at home and want to save a bit here and there. （visited on 3/31/2026)
