My coworker turned me on to checking ALDI out and Im glad she did. I literally pass this location every work day. There are hardly any name brands so you sb careful what you buy. Their chicken is junky and fatty. Rhe baked goods look artificial o plenty too. I only buy bread, milk, fruits and veggies plus their yummy dark chocolate, as pictured, here. The rest is from Zallies (haha Vince!) Shoprite and BJs CLUB. The staff is usually friendly but sometimes the lines are too long and cashiers, not plentiful enough or MIA. As long as you know your prices and stick to the staples, its worth going. read more

My new favorite food store! It's certainly not the end al be all of grocery stores but it definitely serves its purpose. You can get just about anything you need here. While the selection isn't huge, there is a little bit of everything. My favorites: their own gluten free line, their own organic line, "fancy" cheeses, organic veggies, excellent snacks, interesting & rotating ethnic display. Tips: 1. Bring a quarter for the shopping cart. 2. Bring your own bags or pay 5-10 cents each. 3. Bring cash or your check card. No credit cards here. 4. Keep an eye out for discounted organic items. Aldi is a German-owned discount supermarket chain. It is small compared with the typical American grocery store. They will usually have one brand (their private label). They have food, beverages, paper products, cleaning products, and miscellaneous household products. The Turnersville location was remodeled in 2017. It is a clean, bright store. As stated above, mostly it's their products sold but certain brand name items are available at times. I do not purchase meats there as I prefer sourcing them elsewhere. Their baked goods such as bagels and brioche buns are usually fresh and always a great price. Fruits and vegetables at this location are hit or miss. Unless I am eating the berries that or next day, I'll buy elsewhere. Tonight's trip was for holiday baking ingredients. The milk was far higher than Sam's Club, but the butter lower. Their label cream cheese is nearly as good as the brand name but far cheaper. Brownie mix, flaked coconut, brand label sweetened condensed milk all a very good price. This is where I stop first for stuff I don't need a barrel of which is the problem with wholesale clubs. Last stop would be a regular grocery. This is a decent Aldi location. I can't give 4 or 5 stars because of the issues with fruits and vegetables, but for many items used on occasion, this should be your first stop if you're trying to stick to a budget. read more

Size Doesn't Matter! Aldi's is a German owned and operated supermarket chain with over 8000 stores worldwide. They have been in the US since the 70's usually targeting the intercity market, but recently have been expending to a trendier clientele. Most do not realize Aldi's and Trader Joes are owned and operated by the same company. They thrive on Efficient, Quality and Value. Much product research and buying power brings you the best products at the best price. Most produces bear the Aldi branding names, but are supply by the top food providers. There are not many choices to compare individual products. Almost all products are single dimension. Some products are especially designed for Euro's, but have made their way to the US. They offer weekly, ethnic and seasonal specials. Grocer include, meats, dairy, fresh produce, fresh bakery goods, frozen, canned, prepared, beverages, staples, starches, snacks, paper goods, toiletries, baking, dietary, pet, cleaning and lifestyle products. They are now carrying some organic products. Carts are available outside but require a quarter to unlock. This ensures that no carts are left in the parking lot, alleviating labor and cart/car mishaps. The floor plan is designed like a maze. You enter and work your way through and then exit through the check out. Bags are not provided, but available for .05 cent. The whole process takes about 15 minutes. They accept Cash and Debit only and allow cash back up to 200 bucks. Empty product boxes are usually available for your taking. Aldi is owned by the same company as Trader Joes. I could end this review there. There are excellent deals on staples such as butter, eggs, bread and some veggies as well as other tasty foods like fresh salsa, pizza and sweets. I enjoy shopping here with my mother when I'm in the area. I enjoy trying different cheeses and their chocolate covered butter cookies. This market gives me a great selection of reasonably priced organic foods. Clean and brightly lit at all times, you are able to park because carts aren't littering the road. ($.25 to use cart returned when finished) usually very nice customers so it's no running to the line, etc. my only gripe is their limited time products. I will never go to Aldi of Turnersville at night anymore. I got harassed by a women asking for money. She was acting so theatrical and going on about how she didn't have money to feed her kids, she kept making a point that she wasn't on drugs, how her boyfriend/husband is abusive and on and on talk for 5 minutes. She was going around asking others. So, Aldi of Turnersville has become the place to get harassed by druggies! I don't need this. I'm married and a mother and I got to be harassed for money so you can by your drugs! I'm going to shop elsewhere, where there is more security! read more

Clean and bright. Rent your cart and bag your own groceries -- fine w/ me. I like the produce and have not had a problem w/ the quality. All brands are as good as brand-names except a few items. "Specially selected" items are really good. I really do come out w/ a lot of food for my $$. Aldi hasn't totally replaced my Shoprite trips. I usually scan the weekly ads for meat and produce specials before I decide if I'm going. read more

After all the great things I heard about this store I decided to go in to shop for a special dinner. Upon arriving the store looked very nice but I quickly noticed there lack of selection. I was unable to find the most basic things on my list such as vanilla instant pudding and bananas that were ready to eat. After being charged for both the use of the cart and bags to carry out my food I left with only half the items on my list due to there lack of stock. I was very dissatisfied with this store I do not know if it was only the franchise or the store in general but I will not be returning shoprite may be more expensive for certain things but at least you know they will always have what you want. read more

The prices are consistently lower than other supermarkets. They do accept credit cards now, as well as cash and debit cards. You do have to deposit a quarter to use a cart and they charge for bags but you are free to bring your own bags in. Cashiers do not bag your groceries and this helps to keep the prices low. Majority of food items we've tried have been very good. A few things were not to our liking but Aldi does offer a double guarantee: the product is replaced and you are refunded your money. Closely check the produce as I've seen some items with mold. The store is very clean and parking is abundant. I like that they offer products you won't find anywhere else, I just wish they had the room to keep these products longer. The Mango Fire cheese is one of my favorite "Specially Selected" items. read more
