    a box of tomatoes
    Vivian R.

I've gone to Springdale farm market a few times now and it's always very well stocked and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful! Their jersey tomatoes run about $3.75/lb, however, they sell "seconds", which are tomatoes that aren't pretty enough to sell at full price and you can get a whole bin for only $12! I also bought a blueberry crumble pie from here last week, and it was amazing! The pie was only $13 which was super cheap. I will continue coming back to this market because they have such a great selection, and their produce quality is the best in the area!

    Fresh, hot cider doughnuts!

I love stopping by Springdale farm market for many reasons, and the cider doughnuts I picked up today sealed the deal. I had seen on the website open at 8am. I called to double check that if I arrive exactly at 8am would the doughnuts be ready.. and happily I was told yes! They were piping hot and beyond delicious. My coworkers and I devoured them. Besides tasty doughnuts (& pies!!), the produce here is absolutely wonderful. Fresh picked from their farm right outside the door, great variety too. They have several different types of cheeses and other grocery items too. I've come here to pick up my pumpkins for carving, plants and flowers for gifts and all the other knickknacks in between. The workers here are pleasant & friendly. The store is kept clean and easy to navigate. Its an easy location to get to and I highly recommend it.

    Corn maze

Really cute place to bring kids! We came on a Saturday at around 11am and it wasn't crowded, but by the time we left around 2pm it was getting hard to find a parking space. We took the hayride, picked out some pumpkins (not the most bountiful field I've seen, but it is the end of the season), and then did the corn maze ($10). The corn maze is a little sad looking, a lot of the corn is wilting and you can easily see other parts of the maze. This could also be due to it being the end of the season. You do miss that "lost" feeling when the corn is over your head and you can't see anything around you. But it was a fun "maize", and we had a good time navigating it!

Check out their garden center as well. Like the food, it's a little expensive, but they have a nice selection out there.

This sprawling supermarket has an incredible fresh produce section, an unmatched area for all kinds of fresh fish (both ones you've heard of and have never heard of before), a lot of really good meals to-go and so many fun and exciting options. Now that last bit might make you think I'm some robot leaving a 5 star review (maybe that's what a robot would say) but conspiracy theories aside, I truly love this gem of cherry hill. It's always super clean, staff are really helpful, and it's truly a place I love to support and shop at when I'm in the area. I'll go 20 minutes out of my way to shop here. That's says something. I encourage anyone in the area or someone who is looking for a new shopping experience to please give Hung Vuong a visit! The ONLY thing about this store (which isn't a bad thing by any means) is that MOST products are labeled in the importing countries native language. Whether it's Chinese, Vietnamese or Japanese, just make sure you use a camera translation app to double check products that you aren't entirely certain about! Love this place!

Unfortunately, my experience here was very different from what I'm used to back home. We went to the butcher section to purchase meat, and the interaction my parents had with the staff was extremely disappointing. My parents were asking questions about ground pork, as it was out, and wanted to know if there was a leaner cut that could be ground for them. While I stood back to avoid blocking other customers, I saw the butchers behind the counter repeatedly motioning for my parents to go away, using a shooing hand gesture. What made this especially upsetting was that the butchers appeared to be around the same age as my parents and were also Asian. Regardless of how busy it was or whether they were having a bad day due to the holiday rush, that kind of dismissive and disrespectful behavior toward elderly customers is unacceptable. The experience felt unwelcoming and showed a clear lack of respect. The hand gestures toward senior customers came across as a microaggression and were deeply disappointing. Because of this experience, I won't be returning and will choose a different Asian market when visiting in the future.

There's a lot of local produce to choose from, as well as handmade crafts, Jim's dog cookies, skin, care, products, etc. but, the food and the organic flowers are the stars for me! I seriously can't choose what to eat on Saturdays when I go there. Today I had breakfast burritos, street tacos and a to die for smoked beef sandwich! Haddonfield farmers market is only a few miles away and I go there to pick up a few veggies, fruit as well as maybe a baked good or two. This market is located in the center of Haddonfield in closed circular pedestrian area which is surrounded by boutiques, tailoring ship and an ice cream parlor. On Saturday they transform the area with vendors selling fresh vegetables and fruits, pizza, flowers, cookies, cakes and pastries. The selections are much smaller than other area markets but it gathers a crowd and they are appreciative of your business. Haddonfield is a small enclave only a few miles from Philadelphia. So, the small town feel is humbling yet knowing a major city is a train ride away is the best of both worlds if you want to visit a larger Farmers Market for more selections. Otherwise, this market will get you through with the enjoyable delectable it offers.
