Market interior

New Jersey is a land of farms and farm fresh produce is in abundance at this wonderful market. Everything you could possibly want is here from delicious baked goods to fresh meats through everything you could possibly need to eat healthy. Their prices are reasonable and competitive. Their employees are friendly and helpful and this place is absolutely inspired by God. Come on down, you won't regret it

I kept looking around for the farmers. You know, those men and women wearing bib overalls shaking the mud off their boots as they descended from their tractors and hay wagons. But, not a farmer to be seen nor heard from ... they must be out working the farm. If you are in South Jersey and looking for the consummate farmers market filled with the glorious colors of freshly picked produce this is the place! And, to my delight, the prices are reasonable and the service extraordinary! Now, I have never visited Duffield's outside of the summer produce season so I am not sure what a Christmas season experience might be like although I am confident that root vegetables will still be coming in fresh from the Garden State! But, I do know that incredible baked goods and delicious Jams are ready to be purchased because I bought some. One of the truly impressive facts about Duffields is that they are dedicated to farming and showcase this by offering an array of activities for kids (Since my children are too old and my grandson too young I have not really looked into these but they do market them.). They do have fall hayrides and allow customers to get out in the fields to pick. But for me ... it's a joy to step into the fantasy world of farming by breathing it all in (Ok, there are no farm scents inside just the aromas given off by fresh fruit and vegetables.) and then buying what I need for my table. Believe me, if your grocery store produce section is as bad as mine's it is worth a drive of 10-20 miles to load up on the good stuff!

What a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon in the time of Corona! Strawberry season is EXTREMELY short and I always manage to miss it each year. Given the times, travel has been on hold (personal and professional) allowing us to find more local fare to enjoy! This little farm was about an hour out of Philly but mostly a straight shot as far as the drive is considered. Upon arrival, we made our way down the dirt road and found close parking to the strawberry bushes. The attendants working were all very helpful in explaining the process, and I appreciated them practicing good hand hygiene with on site sink to wash your hands before picking. We all also had our own lanes to stay in for picking to help maintain the distancing. The strawberries were ripe for picking and plenty to go around! The weather was great and we loaded up our cartons to enjoy fresh strawberries for weeks! We planned to also freeze some to help extend the shelf life. There's a full market place also on site where all the veggies/fruits grown on site is sold - great way to support local! Definitely worth the drive - had a berry good time!

Perfect stop for Jersey summer abundance!!

Pro tip: go here for the Jersey produce (like berries, peaches, corn etc,) in season! Think seasonal and you won't be disappointed. Amazing fruits & veggies farm grown & freshly picked are always clearly marked. You won't be disappointed if you buy seasonally in the Garden State. Otherwise, yeah you're just getting the same grocery store stuff... so buy smart :) They also have a great deli, pretty decent bakery and it's a perfect summer pit stop. Family owned and operated.

Apple cake without apples

Cute pricey store but the apple cake had maybe 1 apple in it. Ridiculous! Here is a picture of the cake as we dig for apples. $12 for a non apple cake is bulls@#+

Pumpkins in front of our home, from this years patch! Amazing time, wonderful people that run the place.

Rude people , act like they are doing you a favor by selling you things overpriced. I'd rather pay even more somewhere else.

I'd always see their signs on Rt 45 while driving to the Amish Market from Woodbury. Yet not until a few weeks ago did I actually take the plunge and visit them. See what happened was this pregnant lady had a mad craving for the first strawberries of the season. I called Duffields & they had just picked their first batch that week. But then serendipity struck in the form of a Grasso Girl's sign on the side of the road as we were on our way to brunch at the blueplate. JERSEY BERRIES!! Not only freshly picked SJ strawberries, but picked from their own patch. And they have pick your own fields too!! (please excuse the excessive punctuation, but I need to convey my excitement here) Anyway, I have since been back every weekend for those delectable berries. Plus their own freshly cut asparagus was out & the most amazing free range eggs EVER. Like real free range from a place in Mickleton called Happy Hens. The eggs are multi-colored and in a cute egg box with hand-pasted labels. And a good price at only 3.99 a dozen, which sounds pricey but really it's not for the quality you are getting. I'm very excited to have a new farm stand in my rotation. So much better than the crowded farmer's markets at Headhouse & Collingswood.

The Staff is not friendly or helpful. Produce is pricey. However, Very clean store.read more

This year 2023 it's located in a courtyard between other shops, and on the main street. There's a lot of local produce to choose from, as well as handmade crafts, Jim's dog cookies, skin, care, products, etc. but, the food and the organic flowers are the stars for me! I seriously can't choose what to eat on Saturdays when I go there. Today I had breakfast burritos, street tacos and a to die for smoked beef sandwich! It's only open on Saturdays in Haddonfield, South New Jersey 8am-1:30pm, from May through mid October.

Haddonfield farmers market is only a few miles away and I go there to pick up a few veggies, fruit as well as maybe a baked good or two. This market is located in the center of Haddonfield in closed circular pedestrian area which is surrounded by boutiques, tailoring ship and an ice cream parlor. On Saturday they transform the area with vendors selling fresh vegetables and fruits, pizza, flowers, cookies, cakes and pastries. The selections are much smaller than other area markets but it gathers a crowd and they are appreciative of your business. Haddonfield is a small enclave only a few miles from Philadelphia. So, the small town feel is humbling yet knowing a major city is a train ride away is the best of both worlds if you want to visit a larger Farmers Market for more selections. Otherwise, this market will get you through with the enjoyable delectable it offers.

It has many of the traditional fresh fruit and veggie selections you'd see at a typical market, but there are a couple standouts that should put this market in your rotation: 1. Surprisingly a lot of local liquor options. Between beer and spirits, this market features 3-4 different alcohol vendors all with unique flavor and styles. 2. O.K. Charley's Craft BBQ - I'm going to be honest.. this is arguably the best bbq in the area. Their brisket is melt in your mouth tender and juicy with a perfect pepper bark that really gives that texture and depth of flavor good BBQ is supposed to have. This is absolutely worth the trip alone 3. Central location - this market is close to a bunch of small locals spots that I enjoy. Troubled Brewing coffee is only steps away, you can get something hearty from Local Links or walk down the street for some ice cream. You can really turn this farmers market visit into a full afternoon adventure if you choose too! Lastly, there is a small little car show that always happens the same day just on the edge of the market. If you enjoy looking at fun cars, you can pop into the car show while eating Empanadas from Lola's at the market for a perfect Sunday market experience
