Went for the first time today for cherry picking and it was not a disappointment. Probably like hundreds of cherry trees! The only sad thing was we couldn't find any of the yellow-orange cherries bc they were all picked! We found plenty of red and black cherries. Strawberry season is over but we still were able to pick about 3 pounds of strawberries as well. I would definitely go back to pick cherries and even other fruits and vegetables! Also no entrance fee which was good.

I can't believe this was our first time strawberry picking. I stumbled upon this place while googling for a local strawberry farm. I love that it's local and inexpensive. The strawberries were $1.75/lb. They also have cherries at $1.85/lb. The cherry farm was closed this weekend though. Check their Facebook page for the schedule. This is a fun activity for all ages. We certainly enjoyed our time going through the patch. The church across the street makes a nice backdrop. They also sell other produce such as watermelons, blueberries, avocados, and sunflower plants. They have 2 benches, so it's a cute place to have lunch! Caution, there is only a portable bathroom. I just wish they had other fruits to pick than just cherries and strawberries.

I'd always see their signs on Rt 45 while driving to the Amish Market from Woodbury. Yet not until a few weeks ago did I actually take the plunge and visit them. See what happened was this pregnant lady had a mad craving for the first strawberries of the season. I called Duffields & they had just picked their first batch that week. But then serendipity struck in the form of a Grasso Girl's sign on the side of the road as we were on our way to brunch at the blueplate. JERSEY BERRIES!! Not only freshly picked SJ strawberries, but picked from their own patch. And they have pick your own fields too!! (please excuse the excessive punctuation, but I need to convey my excitement here) Anyway, I have since been back every weekend for those delectable berries. Plus their own freshly cut asparagus was out & the most amazing free range eggs EVER. Like real free range from a place in Mickleton called Happy Hens. The eggs are multi-colored and in a cute egg box with hand-pasted labels. And a good price at only 3.99 a dozen, which sounds pricey but really it's not for the quality you are getting. I'm very excited to have a new farm stand in my rotation. So much better than the crowded farmer's markets at Headhouse & Collingswood.

The Staff is not friendly or helpful. Produce is pricey. However, Very clean store.read more
