They always encouraged me to come back, and I did. Quality is OK day-of. Most of it needs to be eaten quickly. For instance their watermelon or mangoes wont be good after a week. That's fine but $5.99/small melon or $1/mango are almost as bad as publix. Not quite but almost. Where's the deals? If its expensive, Where's the high quality? I respect their game and wish them luck but sadly its a closed chapter for me. Its not that im not going to return out of spite, but I wont be returning simply because there's no point to. We took a stroll around. Some prices were outrageous and some were on the mark. You have to know what Publix or Walmart, etc are charging to see if the items are worth their prices. Honey and olive oil etc. etc. that we bought in the old location for 99 cents or $1.99 is now almost $5 or more here. I'm glad we came to check them out. Now we know.

The 99 Cent Farmer's Market in Pompano blew me away with its gorgeous fruit selection, super fresh herbs, and all kinds of miscellaneous goodies -- all at unbelievably low prices. Everything was vibrant, fresh, and far higher quality than you'd ever expect for 99 cents. They even have great snack boxes that are perfect for on-the-go. And as a sweet surprise, we were given a free pumpkin on our way out! The staff made the experience even better. Everyone was warm and friendly, and I have to give a special shout-out to Angelina, our wonderfully helpful cashier, and Anissa -- The Juice Spot Queen -- who absolutely lives up to the title.
