For us, Aldi is the place for groceries. We can get many items in the produce, bakery, meats, dairy, frozen, wine and chocolates, and health and beauty products for a song. The best deals happen when we shop their weekly specials. Their prices and selection are great. This particular store was in a bit of a disarray when I went, there were many empty boxes of produce laying around...but like many stores, if you happen to visit when they are replenishing merchandise or cleaning up, the look of the store is not as neat. I saw some really good prices on health and beauty products, which by unit price rivaled Dollar Tree stores. read more

Aldi's is the estranged brother of Trader Joe's. The abbreviated history is that Aldi's and Trader Joe's were owned by German brother's who fell out over whether or not to sell cigarettes. The company split into Aldi Süd and Aldi Nord, which operate thousands of stores in Europe, the United Kingdom and Australia. Aldi Süd controls the U.S. chain of Aldi stores while Aldi Nord operates in the U.S. as Trader Joe's. While Trader Joe's has great prices, Aldi will beat them and just about everyone else's prices every time. You can still signs of that German heritage all over Aldi's like in their German line of products called Deutsche Kuche, which offers offers beer, chocolate, roasted coffee, and uncured Bavarian bratwurst. If you want to save money on groceries Aldi's is a great way to do it. In order to bring you those low prices Aldi's has instituted some cost cutting measures. The story has a no frills aesthetic with items in often jumbled boxes. If you want a cart you will need to bring a quarter and to get your money back you need to return your cart from the parking lot back to the store saving employees from having to collect the carts. You will also have to bring your own bags or pay for theirs. Lines will most likely be long because they keep their staff to a minimum. Best of all is the check out. To get people through the line more quickly they will literally throw your groceries into the cart they keep chained at the check out. You will frantically try to grab your items out but will never be fast enough. Fortunately a lot of stores have now added self checkout which makes the process a lot faster. This Aldi's opened in 2020 in Sunrise Florida. I was in the area so I stopped in to complete my weekly shopping. I am on the hunt for the cat couch but they didn't have it. I may be too late. Shop on Wednesday for the best selection. I did get the last $40 cat tower that they will probably like better anyway. It was Asian week so they had a lot of sauces, snacks, and frozen meal items. They also have a lot of cute things for Valentines Day including candy, cards, decorations, and heart shaped food like the potato puffs. I was able to get what I needed and even some things I didn't know I wanted but they don't have the self check out so prepare for long lines. read more

First time at Aldi and I loved it great deals and prices. And so much to choose from even seasonal things

DARREN, (the guy who rang me up) was a flustered mess. Simple job coming from someone who has worked in service jobs. It's one thing to be fast and efficient, it's another thing to be fast and inefficient, and rude on top of all that. 0 energy, 0 service skills, 0 efficiency, just zeros all around. I was actually surprise this Aldi's doesn't have the self service machines, which I typically go for because who wants to deal with a sassy man who looks like he has no idea what he's doing or how to excel at his very simple job. This location is very convenient right off of University but they do seem to have limited stock for veggies/fruits and meats. They always seem to be out of multiple things I need. Luckily they do restock quickly. This location is always busy so the waits for checkout do take some time. read more

Nice clean grocery store with good products at a reasonable price. The choices on many things are limited to one or two. However, I've never gotten a bad product here. There are always new things to try and the stuff is pretty great quality. read more

This Aldi is BRAND NEW! Built from the ground up and opened a gew weeks ago. Mother always said, "new is nice". The layout of th store is great, as this is probably their largest formatted new store. One cannot best their prices, so if you want to save money on groceries, compared to the local competitors, this is the place to.come to. They even have their own wine, Winking Owl and it's always only $2.59 per bottle. Trust me too, they're all good and for that price, if you don't like any of the wines, make a wine punch! LOL. It's a great place for certain staples and their housebrand on most items doesn't disappoint. They also offer double your money back if you're unsatisfied with a product of theirs and return it. This location isn't the closest to my home, but considering it's new, I'll drive the two extra miles to come here! read more

Very tasty 12-inch veggie pizza with cauliflower crust. Like the newly reorganized store. As usual, purchased a few not on my shopping list but reasonably priced items: mini greenhouse and plant stand. Will update this review after assembly and setup up of those items. One area needing improvement is the vertical display case housing the ice cream. Most of the ice cream containers and shelves were heavily covered with icicles. read more

Cashier in the morning during the week in the first lane is very unfriendly and rude. She hasn't even gotten finished totaling up 2 people in front of me and wants me to put my groceries on the belt. There aren't even dividers I can reach but she is adamant I hurry to put my items for her to ring. My groceries are always on the belt with my payment processed before she is finished. Too bad she doesn't seem to enjoy being there. It close to home but it's gotten so bad that I'll go elsewhere or just shop when she isn't working. All the other people working there are lovely, sweet and kind. I hope she finds more joy in her life. Finally they are open. It seemed to take forever. I was happy to be able to shop at Aldi's that was close to home and not very crowded. The carts are cleaned after each use and the aisles are pretty big. On Wednesday's, they stock new specials and mark down previous weekly specials. I always look at their online circular for the upcoming week to see what I will add to my weekly produce shop. They have a good variety of well priced grocery items and their wine section is pretty good too. It amazes me how much stuff they pack into one store. The other thing that is pretty interesting is that if you purchase something that was not quite right and it needs to be returned, they give you back your money and replace the items with a new one. read more

When this Aldi opened two years ago the store was beautiful, cleaned and organized. The staff was unfriendly but I didn't mind the rudeness because at least the store was clean and everything was fresh. Now in 2023 the staff still isn't the nicest but the store has gone down hill. Floors are always dirty, spills everywhere specially in dairy isle, and household items are mostly in messy piles. It's a shame since is still fairly a new store. Maybe management should pay more attention to cleanliness and customer service. read more

Wow what a horrible experience!!! Let me start my experience from the start. The carts out front were jammed into into each other and I wasn't able to pull a cart out to use it for shopping, I asked a guy to help me pull it out but it was too stuck for him to pull it out as well. I had brought a bag so I just used that for shopping, I was only getting a few things. After getting what I needed I went to a cashier, took everything out of my bag, put it on the counter and waited my turn. I noticed that the cashier GENENIS was arguing with the customer in front of me. I mind my business and wait my turn. She starts ringing up my food and I said "hello how are you" I get no response back from genenis. (I was wearing a mask so maybe she didn't hear me) giving the benefit of the doubt, as she finishes Throwing my stuff in a cart I pay and she hands me my change and receipt. I then say thank you and have a great day and grab the cart to move it aside to transfer the food from the cart back into my bag. Side note: let me inform you that the one time I did try to put my food into my bag at the same time the cashier was throwing the food in the cart after ringing it up, the cashier *yelled* at me to not touch MY food until she was done putting it in the cart and that I can do that on the side. So as I went to move the cart to the side GENESIS grabbed the cart and YANKED it back and slammed it against the cashier spot she was sitting at. She said rudely "you don't get this cart you didn't pay for it." I was shocked at her response and just said okay. I then calming tried to explain to her how I tried to get a cart outside but struggled because the carts are jammed together and I couldn't even get my quarter back, (which wasn't the issue because normally I leave my quarters anyways after shopping for someone else to have for free) but I wanted to insure her I wasn't trying to take anything for free. Genesis says to me "that's not my problem" with a disgusting look on her face like she was ready to argue with anyone and everyone. Then she proceeds to start taking the grocery's from the customer who was behind me and starts throwing her food into the same cart as my food currently was and didn't give me any time or space to move my stuff into my bag. I've never dealt with such a rude human in my life. I asked her if she's having a bad day and she ignores me. After I finish getting my groceries from the cart to my bag I Tell her that I hope she has a better day and I think she has a shitty attitude. Meanwhile I'm not a confrontational person and I was crying in tears before I even got to my car. This was the worst experience I've ever had while shopping for dinner and I truly hope to never see that girl again. I for sure won't be shopping at the location. Check the Camaras on 11/19/21 between 4:35pm-5pm to watch the situation yourself at the cash register. She clearly was having a shitty day and taking it out on everyone, either way completely rude and unprofessional on every level. read more
