More like a 2.5 today. It's sad because I really liked shopping here…read more I don't know what happened to the store. They used to have beautiful fresh fruits and vegetables, a nice freezer section. I even bought a tomato tree here once. I don't come often since it's not close, but every once in a while when I'm going to Costco, I'll just drive down a little bit further and stop in and pick up some things. I was so disappointed today. They've gotten rid of 99% of freezer section and they have the old cases for sale, so that's the end of that. Today they had long tables of garbage thrown on top and I'm not quite sure what it was, but people were digging through like it was some flea market garage sale. The entire store has changed and in my opinion not for the better. I was able to pick up a couple of avocados at 3 for a $1, a bag of potatoes so I can make mashed potatoes for Thanksgiving, some tomatoes, and that's about it. I did notice that they had a table full of hot pickle tomatoes that expired 9/20/2025 so that did it for me. I don't understand why you would put out food no matter what price it is, after the expiration date. The other thing that bothered me was the 4% fee for credit card. I know as a fact, if you have the right credit card processing you pay 1.9%. They also had a tip jar at the check out...for what... so the salaried employee can slide your purchases across a scanner and you can put the items in the bags you bring. No one packs your bags here and they don't even have plastic or paper bags. With all the fees, the prices aren't any less than TJs or Aldi. I know now, I don't ever have to drive down here again.

The 99 Cent Farmer's Market in Pompano blew me away with its gorgeous fruit selection, super fresh herbs, and all kinds of miscellaneous goodies -- all at unbelievably low prices. Everything was vibrant, fresh, and far higher quality than you'd ever expect for 99 cents. They even have great snack boxes that are perfect for on-the-go. And as a sweet surprise, we were given a free pumpkin on our way out! The staff made the experience even better. Everyone was warm and friendly, and I have to give a special shout-out to Angelina, our wonderfully helpful cashier, and Anissa -- The Juice Spot Queen -- who absolutely lives up to the title. If you haven't checked out this place yet, you're missing out. Highly recommended! PS Don't forget to bring your own shopping bags!

I love shopping at The Boys Farmers Market. There's always really good deals on produce and most of…read morethe stuff is very good quality. The best item has to be their fresh cut pineapple, they are always juicy and super sweet, unlike the ones they have at Publix. Whenever I stop in, I buy two of these and my family absolutely devours them. Honorable mention for their fresh basil plants which are humongous and unbelievably fragrant. Also very good is their deli department. They have a tremendous selection of cheeses, cold cuts, all kinds of cured meats, great olives, etc. I absolutely love it. You can pair your deli purchases with some of their fresh breads and have a really nice charcuterie spread. I do this pretty often for my kids for their after school snack and they love it. I haven't yet tried the hot bar or prepared meals but they seem to be a huge hit with customers. Every time I stop in there's a big line for whatever it is they're serving. I just find the wait to be a little bit of a turn off so I don't bother. But one day if there's no line, I will check it out. Overall this place is great for fresh produce, deli items and more. Definitely check it out if you've never shopped here, there's a lot to like.

It was a portion of white turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and a few green beans. Definitely will order again. I tried the sliced beef with mushrooms and it was good. It was not a marsala sauce, but similar. I would order this again. I was disappointed with the brisket, as it was on the dry side. I know a few people who buy it often and rave about it, so this was surprising. I definitely will try it again at some point. Looking forward to trying the eggplant parmesan next time.

Confession time. I haven't been to the Living Green Café in several years. My friends have kept…read moreurging me to eat something from there, so when the opportunity came up to pop in and grab breakfast, I took it. The last time I was there, they still had a market, so I was quite surprised when I walked in and saw all the seating available and no more market. There are still nice tables outside as well. The café is in the middle of a transition I was told. They are adding a wine bar, a full kitchen to make hot breakfast, and additional seating. The gentleman behind the counter was very friendly, and I ordered a lox bagel sandwich. I usually do not have lox with lettuce, but as it was premade, I still decided to give it a try. He toasted the bagel and packed it away in a most lovely container to go. The sandwich was delicious! I will never make a face seeing greens in my lox sandwich ever again. Both the lettuce and tomato were crisp, fresh, and packed with flavor. The smoked salmon was ample and very fresh. The bagel itself was also great. I will definitely be back, and I especially look forward to being able to order a hot breakfast when their full remodel is complete.

It feels comfortable, relaxed, and has a lot more personality than the typical café. The staff was friendly, the place had a really good energy, and overall it just felt welcoming. We were just going to grab something to go and ended up staying for a while. Oh, and did I mention they have wine?
