They always encouraged me to come back, and I did. Quality is OK day-of. Most of it needs to be eaten quickly. For instance their watermelon or mangoes wont be good after a week. That's fine but $5.99/small melon or $1/mango are almost as bad as publix. Not quite but almost. Where's the deals? If its expensive, Where's the high quality? I respect their game and wish them luck but sadly its a closed chapter for me. Its not that im not going to return out of spite, but I wont be returning simply because there's no point to. Theres no deals or anything amazing anymore. Best of luck

They used to have beautiful fresh fruits and vegetables, a nice freezer section. I even bought a tomato tree here once. I don't come often since it's not close, but every once in a while when I'm going to Costco, I'll just drive down a little bit further and stop in and pick up some things. I was so disappointed today. They've gotten rid of 99% of freezer section and they have the old cases for sale, so that's the end of that. Today they had long tables of garbage thrown on top and I'm not quite sure what it was, but people were digging through like it was some flea market garage sale. The entire store has changed and in my opinion not for the better. I was able to pick up a couple of avocados at 3 for a $1, a bag of potatoes so I can make mashed potatoes for Thanksgiving, some tomatoes, and that's about it. I did notice that they had a table full of hot pickle tomatoes that expired 9/20/2025 so that did it for me. I don't understand why you would put out food no matter what price it is, after the expiration date. The other thing that bothered me was the 4% fee for credit card. I know as a fact, if you have the right credit card processing you pay 1.9%. They also had a tip jar at the check out...for what... so the salaried employee can slide your purchases across a scanner and you can put the items in the bags you bring. No one packs your bags here and they don't even have plastic or paper bags. With all the fees, the prices aren't any less than TJs or Aldi. I know now, I don't ever have to drive down here again.

Some of them were familiar from other local farmer's markets. There was a good variety of eats including Lickity Split Cakes, Tier 1 Catering, Happy Dog Bakery, Mr Bill BBQ, Local Honey, Buckle Flavors, Tasty Layers Bakery, Tropical Plants and Malvo's Chill Spot. The scent of the Chicken and ribs grilling up on the smoker from Mr Bills BBQ was making me super hungry. Grabbed some huckleberry pie (I think thats what it was) from Buckle Flavors.

They have fresh produce, handmade items, jewelry and crystals, many food stalls and plants/herb stands where you can find many fruit trees, plants and herbs you wouldn't normally find at your local grocery store. It's great for a family outing, friends meet up, a date and even a solo getaway. They have live music, bars and the overall ambiance is fun and friendly. The topic was tomatoes I learned something and it inspired me to purchase a tomato plant (wish me luck). I plan on attending future talks as my schedule permits. The presenter was knowledgeable and patient with all the questions. They have garden plots you can purchase and the is a garden shed that sells gardening items.

It is a food desert in the nearby area and the concept of fresh vegetables for the community is encouraging. The Institute offers a variety of classes including in beekeeping. They had someone selling permenant jewelry , home made breads, smoothies, pina coladas and fruits. I tried the banana bread from the bread vendor and it tasted healthy and fresh. I also tried the virgin pina colada from the piña colada stand it tasted soo yummy. They told me that they make the drink with coconut milk. I loved how friendly they were and I definitely will come back.
