When the cashier looked at me and immediately stated "I need to see your ID." in a rude and condescending tone - I would like to note: Kansas law states: "Kansas has an exception permitting the furnishing by a parent or legal guardian to a child or ward" (even though I am of age) - I then showed the gentlemen at the front my ID and then proceeded to pay for the alcohol. I stated "it's a free world" when asked by my father why I paid for the alcohol he was intending to pay for. And the gentlemen at the front responded "for now." Dahlia was incredibly kind and went above and beyond.
