Fresh produce. Great quality. Excellent prices. A no-nonsense grocery store. Be prepared to pay only cash or debit. Also being your own bags. They do have boxes if you forget.

Ok. Oys been a long time since I went to an aldi. Mostly thwre wasnt one near me. If you have never been 1- Make sure you have a quarter to rent a cart (youll get it back when you return it) 2- They only take cash debits or ebt/food cards. So dontplan to use any other type of creditcards. 3- bring your bags. They cost 6cents each for plastic and more for paper. (Price chopper gives you 5cents off for each one of your bags they use) 4- its a genetics shopping store. All that being said not in a bad way what so ever. you are now prepared. Everyone has been raving about what great prices they have. Dry/can goods. - Same prices as any other store when you dont buy the brand name stuff Meats -more then anywhere I have bought I years Dairy products- milk was 3.50 a gal. Costco sells it for 2.50 a gal. (Are we seeing a trend?) Produce- good priced. But not as good as any of the stores in the river market Junk food/snacks- now these were a great price. And a large selection. So if you want cheep snacks. This is the place to go. Disclamer. I went on a monday. Apperantly there sales are on Wednesdays and thats when you get a good deal. otherwise you may as well just go to the price chopper across the street and buy there off brands. Savingon bringing your own bags and withthere card gas atquick trip. But thats just my 2cents

Health food stores are apparently very limited in the Kansas City area for some reason. This store was great because I had many options I've ever seen before at a health food store. Prices here are a little high compared to what I'm used to seeing but when there's a special on a certain item that's over in Clearance, it's truly at a great price. Please check that the item matches up with the price when you check out because I had a minor issue the prices being charged at the original price but not at the this kind of price upon checking out. Thankfully the staff was able to rectify that situation. Staff here was also truly friendly as well. I do enjoy that there's not too many people here as well. The strip mall has plenty of parking so there should never be an issue when it comes to finding a spot. Even cooler is that there's a vegan restaurant across the street and they sell some of their food here at the health food store it's inside one of the fridges by the checkout. So for those health conscious people you do not have to make two trips. The parking lot when you leave can be a bit challenging to leave. Overall I really did enjoy this health food store and would definitely come back. 4.5 Stars

Not a place for a CostCo type of run, but more for niche local items. My favorite and my frequent purchase here? Their coffee. More specifically, their Oddly Correct and Thou Mayest beans. It's nice to splurge on the good stuff every so often, and also nice to gift these beans to coffee lovers around the holidays. From what I can tell on a recent visit, they've scrapped their bulk buy items which is honestly a good call. I had freshness issues with both their oats and popcorn in the past. Lots of parking but also a part what my family calls the intersection of death. Home to totaled cars and fender benders over the decades, traverse this intersection at your own peril!

Years ago they catered my daughter's wedding and had been on our rotations of favorites for a long time. I was sad when they closed and we moved away for a bit too- but now they are back! Highly recommend the caprese salad, vodka penne and the eggplant parm. Also a great place for just a slice of pizza. Service always has a smile and it's always fast and delicious. So if you haven't tried this KC gem. Please go enjoy!!

Avelluto's Pizzeria & Ristorante is my new favorite Italian restaurant…read more I was driving home from some appointments and stopped in for lunch. Avelluto's is located in Mission, in the same shopping complex as Rally House, Mud Pie, and a Wing Stop, and Tipsy's Liquor. It's a small place, maybe dozen tables. You place your order at the front counter. If you're dining in you get a number. I was taking away and got the Eggplant Parmigiana and Tiramisu. While waiting I saw people continuing to come in and order, then waiting for a tablets to open. I think most of the people were considerate enough to not linger after eating. So the turnover on the tables was pretty quick. The Eggplant Parmigiana was really good. The breading on the eggplant was crispy and well-seasoned, the spaghetti was perfectly cooked, the sauce was deceptively simple. I say deceptively because it was a straight marinara but wonderfully flavored. And the Tiramisu! The best Tiramisu I've had. I went back with FPO and got pizza by the slice, the Chicken Parmigiana, and a small Meatball with Rigatoni. And of course, another slice of Tiramisu. Everything was wonderful the second time too. That tells me they're consistent and I will be going back again. And probably again after that.
