It was all so good! If you're in the area, you should check them out. If you're not in the area but would like to take a little adventure and find a quirky little store with quality food and friendly people, you should check them out.

Unfortunately this summer I was only able to go twice, but it was great. Local sustainably grown veggies, meats and other local treats. Sometimes there is live music or other activities--both times this year there was no music, but I know last year they had several local bands playing. I always buy a few fresh veggies and try to support several different booths. It is kind of cheesy, but leaving the farmers market always makes me feel closer to my community. It is so important to support local growers and also healthier to know my favorite sweet corn is not full of icky pesticides! The prices seems to be doubled from the stores but the fruit and veggies are fresh and tasty. There was one bag of Ranier Cherries left and I snagged them up! They were juicy and sweet, but so darn expensive. I asked about the price of their (seedless) watermelon and was told it would be around $10-$12 dollars. Now, this is the same size that you'd find in your local grocery store AND it had the #4032 store code sticker attached to each melon. Hmmmm! This 16oz local honey that I purchased for $11 better give me a pick me up! The owner and employees are very friendly. You don't have to ask for help, they automatically pick up your box and take it to your car, after checkout. I believe this is the same guy that used to sit in the front lot of the Price Chipper on 103rd, between State Line & Holmes. Will I return? Probably but I would get as much as I did the first time.

Thankfully the staff was able to rectify that situation. Staff here was also truly friendly as well. I do enjoy that there's not too many people here as well. The strip mall has plenty of parking so there should never be an issue when it comes to finding a spot. Even cooler is that there's a vegan restaurant across the street and they sell some of their food here at the health food store it's inside one of the fridges by the checkout. The breading on the eggplant was crispy and well-seasoned, the spaghetti was perfectly cooked, the sauce was deceptively simple. I say deceptively because it was a straight marinara but wonderfully flavored. And the Tiramisu! The best Tiramisu I've had. I went back with FPO and got pizza by the slice, the Chicken Parmigiana, and a small Meatball with Rigatoni. And of course, another slice of Tiramisu. Everything was wonderful the second time too.
