Price chopper was one of the first stores other than Safeway that I remember my mother shopping in frequently as a child. I've never had any bad experiences within a price chopper. I remember my mother always being happy shopping there and every time I went I've been happy there. But there are no perfect stores, we all know this but this particular location comes pretty close, matter fact it's about as close to perfection as you can get. The store is located near a major roadway. The signage is very large however the wording could be a little more colorful as well as the building but that's neither here nor there. Parking is very ample and pretty much anytime of the day you can come and get a good spot. Once you step inside it is absolutely beautiful. They have their produce separated from the other parts of the store which I actually like that. I never liked going into a grocery store finding fruits surrounded by other products but that's just my pet peeve. The isles are extremely neat and clean and plentifully shelved. It's well lit and very bright and inviting. There are no strange odors (believe me some store do have that issue) just fresh and clean. The bathrooms are immaculate and I can't stress enough how important that is to me. So many grocery stores, restaurants, schools have beautiful designs beautiful products but then when you go to the bathroom it is in disarray and smells horrible. Not this place it is absolutely beautiful. To top it off the staff are very friendly and seem motivated and happy to work and to please the customer. I haven't been in this location before but other price choppers I've been at and although I never had any complaints with any Price chopper chains, this one by far outweighs the others. They seem to Go above and beyond what is already satisfactory and that is the kind of store I love to give my business.

Very unique and awesome Price Chopper. I have never been in a Price Chopper quite like this. It is located in an old car dealership building (is what it looks like). They kept the open, minimalist, industrial feel. The produce department is ENORMOUS and has garage doors that they open up on nice days. The seafood and meat department is much bigger than most Price Choppers. They have all kinds of fresh meats and seafood available. The bakery has everything from fresh breads to donuts to Mexican sweet breads. They have a lot of good ethnic options. Definitely will be going back.

Nice store. Produce selection is great. If looking for Hispanic items/fresh tortillas/dried chilis, this is the place to go.

What appears to be a mom and pop bakery is actually a baker who has carefully done his research and brings himself up to date on the latest trends of flavor in the baking world. The vibes are amazing - I especially love the art piece on the wall he commissioned from a local artist. I saw the Instagram page with several posts explaining how he did each part. Everything was absolutely delicious (I am biased with the ham and gruyere cheese since that is a favorite combo of mine), the danish was delicious (I could tell maybe it uses veryberryosa - a recent trend in baking to be used as filling), and the same was probably on the cinnamon roll looking crossaint. Now the grand prize - the mochi donuts were spectacular. The flavors I got were raspberry almond (my #1 favorite I got twice), cereal (this was carefully curated and not too sweet like most cereal based baked goods), Irish coffee (didn't taste like coffee, gave it to a friend) and the mango black tea was also a slam dunk for me. The staff are incredibly friendly here which is a huge plus!

The flan was the perfect texture and topped with fresh strawberries and caramel sauce. My favorite was the carrot cake. It was probably the moistest carrot cake I have ever had. Yeyo's is both a blessing to my appetite and a bane to my waistline. But live a little! Their cheesecake by the slice gives you a chance to sample what you might like and the QUALITY is first rate. Why battle the vestibule crowd at the Factory if all you really want is the cheesecake? Because at Yeyo's you can pop in, peruse (okay, fawn over) the selections, and walk out happy as a lark. Our last visit had us getting three (generous) slices: plain with strawberry sauce on the side, turtle with the caramel sauce, and a Reese's. Three huge portions and that ran us under $20 - what a win! There isn't any real seating at this spot, but they are amply prepared to provide all that you need to enjoy/destroy your cheesecake or other goodies on the go. Hot tip: these slices are very generous and *very* rich, because this ain't no back-of-the-package recipe; they are artisanal and absolutely perfect, so go slow, or even better, share! (yeah, right) Parking is easy, pricing is reasonable and well below the fabulous value, and the service is quick & friendly. It's a spot you might have passed a bunch of times, but they are open and ready for your sweet tooths to drop in and try it - do so!

This is one of the few bakeries I've had where the crust isn't just secondary to the pie filling. The crust on the peach pie is amazing. Perfect, buttery, delicious, with just the right about of crisp and flakiness. Wasn't soggy on the bottom. The key lime had a perfect ratio of cream to pie and the filling was so smooth and not overly stiff/congealed like I've had elsewhere. $6 for a giant slice of happiness is a great deal. I'll definitely come back anytime I'm craving pie.

YUM has constantly been one of my favorite small batch bakeries in Kansas City and has gluten-free and vegan options sometimes in their case. One of my favorites of these is the sweet potato doughnut, a soft cake doughnut that tastes of fall. Another classic YUM does oh so good is a traditional lemon bar, in my opinion, the perfect summer picnic dessert. Theirs is true to its classic form with tart tangy lemon filling and powdery sugar laden top, jammy in the middle, and slightly crispy around the edges. It truly does "melt in your mouth" in the best way possible. The muffins here also are divine, not something I usually order at a bakery, but YUMs are plump and inviting. YUM is the perfect nostalgia trap (in a good way), and the interior is decorated with pie safes full of vintage cookie cutters as well as a cute fireplace on the other side of the bakery. It's pretty much a one woman show all around, and she's the bees knees! Protect this lovely local bakery at all costs!
