This Walmart is pretty decent. The aisles are super tight to walk through. Everything seems cramped here. They have some things out of stock. The home section seems well stocked but grocery selection is a bit off. I was disappointed to see that they had placed almost all of the Black Beauty and Hair Care Products on sale and at the back of the store. This seems similar to how Target is operating for Black History Month, not recognizing it by dismissing it and then not restocking it. The staff is South American and so they speak Spanish and are very helpful and kind. I did find a good amount of items here but the stock is very try low. read more

Buyers Beware. I want to emphasize, right away, that I have no complaint regarding Customer Service in the branches that I frequent. They are doing the best they can under difficult circumstances. BUT I would not buy anything at Walmart, especially online. Walmart buys cheap items from China, and charges YOU a hefty fee for delivery. The same items can be purchased at Temu at NO delivery fee to customers. Moreover, like all companies, Walmart fudges the item description, either hiding vital information like materials or whether it contains a cable or USB (the latter always cheaper). Not a single item that I had bought online fits the description, unless you read the description ten times going over with a great deal of attention. This is pure waste of time. The fact remains that for every item sold in Walmart shops or online, you can find an exact equivalent in other shops, and often cheaper (Dollar Tree stocks similar items). Do not allow corporate America to waste the money that you worked so hard to earn. Do a bit of research before you buy anything at Walmart. read more

I've shopped in a lot of Walmart stores in my time, and this is the worst one I've seen. The shelves are poorly stocked, there are boxes and carts full of merchandise blocking so many aisles, the selection is very limited, and it is not clean or well-maintained. Many of the shoppers here are super rude, too. The one bright spot in the whole place was the door greeter, who was upbeat, friendly, and courteous. Give that woman a raise! read more

I hate going to Walmart; in fact, I always give it one star when prompted at the self checkout. That being said, this location was moderately please the due to their large selection of non-food items. This Walmart is different than all other Walmarts I've been to. The grocery section is very small which allows extra real estate for their vast selection of other items. Money order station-I was asking questions in a nice manner about the transactions and the worker (Pam) said to her co worker friends who were standing around that she was "about done with this one" (referencing me). Granted this is Walmart and what can we expect? ... True, there's some drawbacks because of the nasty corporate reputation ...but I will tell you that the pharmacy here is fantastic. The prices are affordable and on top of that the pharmacist is quite knowledgeable and very helpful. Tonight it was a little confused with the insurance that I carry with my employer and working with the pharmacist he was able to determine that I was eligible for discount and not only that my previous visits were also to be covered but I was not aware of this so I had some money refunded and I feel pretty good about that. I like the fact that it's relatively close by the prices are pretty good. read more

Wow, so much hate for Wal-Mart... at the time of this review, the overall rating for this location is 1.5 stars (out of 30 reviews). I came by this location (located close to Lowe's, with plenty of parking) with my husband this afternoon, a little after 1 pm. We came to stock up on some food staples and other items while we are staying in Kansas for the solar eclipse. When we first came in, we were greeted by an employee in a yellow vest. Actually we were greeted by a few while making our way through the store. The store was clean, aisles not cluttered or served as a tripping hazard, no usually odor that Wal-Mart is known for (sometimes Wal-Mart is known as armpit for a reason....). A lot of the registers were open when we were ready to pay for our items, but we decided to do the self check out since there was a check out stand open. Overall, our shopping experience was a good one. I have no complaints. But since I don't live here, it is possible that I just happen to be here on a good day (or it could be possible that I just have low expectations) and have not experienced what previous Yelpers have mentioned in their reviews. By the way, there is free WiFi here (but on the slow side) and there are also 2 Redbox kiosk machines by the front entrance. read more

But every now and then you need something and they are the only ones nearby who have it. In this particular case I needed one of those handheld luggage scales to tell me how "over" I was going to be on my packing job. While traveling for work, my team needed a few specific items that are typically sold at Walmart (and they were available at this location when we arrived, too.) This Walmart looked like the stores in Southern California. It was clean, bright, well stocked with various merchandise, including uniforms - they were pricey though. I was complimented at dinner on the shirt I purchased here. Staff were professional and available. 4 stars because it was a standard positive experience. Every time I come into this Walmart I try to give them another chance. It seems like they cannot keep an employee cause every couple months more new employees show up. I feel like they don't even properly train the new employees on how to use the machines like registers and self checkout before leaving them on their own. I did not encounter any of the staff as we ended up not purchasing anything so this review does not pertain to them. Just had the most incompetent old lady attempt to ring me up... she rang my bread up four times and kept acting surprised that it would scan again when she held it over the scanner... this took, I kid you not, over 10 minutes to fix. I was getting aggravated and put all my things back in my cart to move to another lane, because clearly nobody was coming to help and I had other places to be, when finally a manager came to help remove the extra scans. So I put all my items back on the belt, and this woman was just giggling the whole time... so rude and unprofessional. And then she started telling me about her dead grandson and how she had laughed when he died too, so this was totally normal behavior. What the fuck? Gentle Reader: I'm going to give you permission to slap me. Now, there are strings. You can only do this upon the fulfillment of a certain criteria. Specifically I have to have just said the following sentence: "Man, this Wal-Mart isn't nearly as nice as that other Walmart." So I needed a bunch of crap, quickly and on the cheap. This WalMart was relatively close, and I figured that they'd probably have what I needed at a low price. Turns out they didn't. Most of the stuff I needed they were inexplicably out of, while other things they had, only in sad, dented containers. The shelves were so barren it was like I was trying to buy milk or bread the day before Kansas City expects an inch of snow (You know what I'm talkin' about KC!). Why are they out of everything? Is there really a rush on lemonade mix? bendy straws? Who is having a lemonade and bendy straw party and not inviting me??? Anyhow, this is a small, poorly organized and dirty WalMart that can't manage to even keep their shelves stocked. There's gotta be a better way. read more

I find myself at this Walmart from time to time when I am in a hurry since it is the closest one to my home and office. It's an 'experience' since it seems to be an older location, the checkout lines are usually long and it's crowded with families and kids that wonder around in groups with no idea that anyone else may want to walk down an isle. I went this week to pickup some oil since it was 10PM and everywhere else was closed. The oil was on sale so it was a great deal for a 5 quart container but it took 20 minutes to get from the back of the store where the oil is located to the front to check out. There was a nice Hispanic family with 4 kids who casually walked down both isles at snail pace talking so I was stuck behind them for what seemed like an eternity. I finally went off down a side isle and found myself boxed in by another family and an elderly lady clipping coupons in her 'go cart' she had parked in the middle of the isle...stuck again. I have never been to another store where it was so hard to get around. There were only 2 checkout lanes open when I finally arrived up front so the lines were back into the isles and it took another 15 minutes to check out. This location has the great Walmart prices and it works in an emergency (they are open until 11PM) but it's a challenge to navigate, slow and not as clean or bright as most locations. read more

Not many people really are just dying to go to Walmart. Most people end up at Walmart because it's inexpensive, or it's close, or because they need a new fan belt, a gallon of milk, foot powder, and a new pair of pants, and they don't want to go to three places. Generally you end up at Walmart, despite a vague sense of guilt. I get that. I'm okay with that. However, this Walmart... Yeesh. First off, the positive. (If you can't say something nice, after all.) The store is a smaller Walmart, which actually I kind of like--going to a Super Center involves taking supplies and hoping that your sherpas can get you out. So that's a plus, actually, as far as I'm concerned. Also, some of the help is nice. Not all, but the ones that are nice are very nice. To all those employees who are actually pleasant, apologies. The negative. The store is, I don't know, cluttered, maybe? It seems like the aisles are narrower than other places, and it can be hard to maneuver as crowded as it gets. In some areas it's like they tried to cram a Super Center's worth of stuff into a smaller store. The baby stuff especially--don't bother trying to take your cart in the aisle. It's also generally crowded, but that I can't really blame on the store. Well, I mean, other than the fact that, if they're going to have that much business, they might want to rethink the aisles, but, okay, never mind. Additionally, the check-out can be a nightmare unless you hit it at just the right time of day (9:35 AM on a Tuesday, maybe). Additionally, while I have encountered several very pleasant staff members (the guy at the photo counter yesterday was pleasant, for instance, and about half or so of the cashiers are at least okay), my overall impression of the staff is just rude. I had a woman restocking a shelf bump me repeatedly with her cart to get me to move. Really? You're going to run into a customer with a cart? And a lot of times it really is just rudeness--not "I have a lot of things to do and I've had bad experiences with rude customers," but "I'm a jerk." The customer service has been so bad that I actually wrote a comment to the corporate headquarters, and heard, well, nothing. Glad to know my concerns were taken so seriously. And yet, like most people, I end up here. It's close to my house--it's about a quarter mile, as opposed to the next closest, which is maybe 4 miles or so away--and I'm always needing just a couple of things and it's convenient and... The store itself is a mess and so is the service. Never been in the store when there was not a huge, long line to wait in. No one there to ask if you need help. Once I had walked in for in-store pick up and waited at the counter for ten minutes before someone had walked up to tell me the counter was closed - when online it states that it didn't close for another hour! Then, when I came back the next day, I had to wait another ten minutes before someone could help me, and with that, the lady behind the counter couldn't locate my item! I would only stop by at this location if it was my last resort. Do not expect to come here for a quick visit, do not stop here if you're looking for quality service. No shopping experience quite embodies the word "sad" like a trip to Walmart. The entire store is a bit grimy. The shelves, upon which merchandise is haphazardly strewn, are actually dirty. The customers don't help. As we walked through the baby aisle, we watched a woman tear open a new box of diapers to remove one for the infant in her cart. She made a similar stop further down the aisle for baby wipes. We left the aisle before this customer actually began to change her baby's diaper in the middle of the aisle. The prices are cheap, but the Walmart experience is not worth it! The staff is not helpful, there are not sufficient cashiers at checkout, even during peak periods. Employees are extremely rude. I was directed to a self checkout register by an employee, but due to the many paper signs it appeared it was out of order. I asked for clarification about the register, but instead the employee just ignored me and sent another customer to the register. If you want legit customer service and not to engage with employees who give you an attitude just because they have a uniform on, I suggest steering clear of this Wal-Mart. read more

Yeah, yeah, it's Wal-Mart, the axis of evil, etc. so on and so forth. Nobody's expecting it to be lifechanging. But it's not just that it's the general level of suck one can reliably anticipate from a given Wal-Mart, just intrinsically. This Wal-Mart even pumps that up a notch. Starting from the atrocious parking lot setup, which is pretty much guaranteed to route you into a head-on collision near-miss about every third time you utilize it, there may or may not be people getting arrested in front of the entrance (hit and miss), and when you get inside, there are either no carts, or they are all stuck together like they were rammed in a demolition derby and can't be torn asunder. And, they usually have a bunch of junk in them. Appealing. The store is smallish, def not a supercenter, and is pretty poorly arranged. Overcrowded with stuff (yet, inexplicably, still having a poor selection?), things are not where you'd expect them to be, and often pretty messy. While I have had an occasion really nice clerk, the bulk of the employees are surly. If you need something pretty basic and want it cheap, it's probably worth your time to take a deep breath and get in and out as fast as you humanly can, but it's really just not an appealing experience. I would say, less so than other area Walmarts, even. All Wal-Marts are, well, Wal-Mart, but not all Wal-Marts are this awful. read more
