Great little store. I've always been overwhelmed by massive grocery stores and the million options of cereal boxes and yogurts can be a bit much to process. Nature's Own is small but just the right size, if you're picking up last minute ingredients or need a few things to get you through the week. The cashiers were helpful and greet you as you walk in the door. I've been on the hunt for pine nuts and found it in this little gem of a store- reasonably priced and packed in plastic container that allows you to travel with. Didn't have a chance to try the local kombucha on tap. They also have a spot in the back of the store where you can fill your water gallons, think it was 39 cents per gallon. If you're a senior citizen come visit on a Tuesday and get a discount! Lovely store I'll be back for sure. Smaller store with roots in the local market.

Local. Friendly. Decent selection. Not a big box store. Effective use of space. I will definitely be back.

It's an occasional stop these days, but it has some great healthy produce, coffee, kombucha, and other staples.

Was in the hood for other business, came looking for some high grade Pu-ehr tea, which I walked out with (smells a little like dirt, earthy big flavor, high in caffeine, great for your health). But wait, what's this, some super delicious crystallized ginger to put on vegan soups I make (but I'm not vegan). And then some huge grain, white sea salt with a fabulous, mild taste. What a great find, because salt is an essential and can be the star of a meal when used properly. Service was first-rate. I was waited on by three different people in the space of about 10 minutes and each had their own expertise to offer, seemed, and appeared to really know their business. So in short, if you're looking for all kinds of spices, teas, herbs, oils and other things I probably missed that you'd expect, they likely have it, and I'm keen to explore more of their offerings in the future. Dedicated parking lot shared by a couple of other businesses, right off the corner of where Main Street turns West to head towards Westport. Great spot, glad I found it.

What makes this place stand out is the concept. You can walk up to the butcher case, pick out your own steak, and have them grill it for you. It's a fun experience that feels different from a traditional steakhouse. If you'd rather order from the menu, there are also plenty of meat and seafood options available. We shared a bone-in ribeye that was absolutely delicious. We started with the Sweet Potato Hummus, which my wife especially loved. The real surprise of the night was the Hot Honey & Goat Cheese Brussels Sprouts. Those were outstanding and easily one of the best sides we've had in a long time. The roasted potatoes, on the other hand, were just okay. Another thing worth mentioning is the deli-style refrigerated cases in the back of the shop. They're packed with prepared meals, sides, meats, and other items that looked genuinely tempting for taking home later. Overall, a very enjoyable first experience and a creative addition to the Kansas City dining scene

Let's start with the service--Billy, Grant, and Parker were all incredible. Friendly, attentive, and just chill in the best way. You can tell they care about what they're doing and treat customers like family. Scott and Vicky the owners were warm and welcoming. They welcomed feedback in the best way... it definitely felt like a locally owned neighborhood market. Now, let's talk food: Meatballs alla Vodka? Baaaaby. Rich, savory, cheesy, melt-in-your-mouth goodness. Hot Honey Brussels were crispy, sweet, spicy, and downright addictive. Parmesan & Rosemary Fries? Flavorful with a perfect crisp. That rosemary hit me in my soul. Fritz Müller Perlwein Rosé was served at the bar at grocery store pricing. And yes, I was feelin' bougie for less. Then I peeked around and realized this place is ALSO a full-on boutique market. Think wine shop, butcher counter, charcuterie essentials, and every sauce or seasoning your inner foodie could dream of. The vibe is elevated but still approachable--perfect for a wine night run or a laid-back date night. Truly a one-stop shop for snacks and sustenance. Support local, and treat yourself. I'll be back soon, probably with a tote bag and a full appetite. Definitely filling my DEAN AND DELUCA void!!!
