The prices for certain things here are pretty decent, it's just doesn't have that great a selection. Also, for certain things like salmon your own choice is frozen.

Don't even look at these ads. They either won't have the items or good chance they'll ring up higher.

Best prices around. Most of the basics with less choice. Easy in and out. Seasonal items are great!

Never disappoints! This was my first time at this specific Amish market. The donuts were delicious!…read moreThere are a ton of shops in the market, which I will have to visit next time. Highly recommend checking this spot out!

There are many things to love about a market. Going to markets is actually one of the things I…read moreenjoy doing most...especially when there's good cheese or bulk spices involved; it simply has this wonderful mystique about it that other places and activities simply do not have. The Westtown Amish Market doesn't necessarily have a dedicated spice section per se, but they do have wonderful service, lovely people who are happy to help, a clean, open atmosphere, and a MASSIVE selection of the best things that Lancaster County and the surrounding areas have to offer. Whether that be fresh meats, cheeses, pastries, pickled veggies of all kinds, or tins of other things, you are guaranteed to find both quality and value here, as well as a great experience. The fact that its location is also convenient doesn't hurt either; allowing those of us that don't want to, or simply can't make a frequent trek out towards the Amish part of PA, this offers all the charm and tasty delights you can find there, much closer to home. I have come here for many things, but my usual weekly visits are to the meat counter for whatever happens to be my craving lately; butchered and served perfectly from local suppliers, fresh and packed right in front of you. Coming from so close you can see it's not from the standard factory farming operations you will normally find at your average grocery store. Then there is also usually a stop to the fresh donut counter, with a multitude of amazing fresh-fried donuts waiting for you to devour. This is only the tip of the iceberg that the market has to offer. From several short order cook shops, to a restaurant, to a florist, even to handmade furniture, there are so many wonders to uncover here in a space small enough that you can easily navigate it in an hour or so, making it a great weekly or bi-weekly stop for shopping. In addition to the things I mentioned, you can also find select cuts that you may not find anywhere else, making it an even better stop when trying to prepare a menu or meal that may be a bit different than your normal routine. I come here for all my holiday recipes and have found it is the ONLY place that often has the very specific trim or cut I am looking for. So if you're in the area or a short drive, even from Philly, take a morning and stop here on a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday, and truly see what I mean!

They are making pretzels hot and fresh right before your eyes as you walk in!…read more They have a cheese corner with the items made in Lancaster Amish country, Pennsylvania ! I was on the hunt for something called cheese for a gift. I was able to put in an order and come back the next day and pick it up. I wonderful to have such great service and such wonderful, delicious food items. I also picked up a chunk of goat cheese with cranberries and cinnamon... Because we're expecting a snowstorm and I wanted to have a nice cheese plate. Let me tell you that cheese was absolutely delicious so flavorful and wonderful wonderful . There was a Tea booth, and I picked up some Bengal tea which is my favorite . Wonderful service. Another delightful surprise was a Greek stand that had delicious sandwiches made with falafel and baba ghanoush . I got a baba ghanoush sandwich. I also bought some. Za'atar Man'oushe bread. What a thrill how flavorful and so exceedingly delicious. I am so happy with that purchase and I wish I lived just a little bit closer to the store so I can pick up this bread at least once a week !! Soumaya and sons bakery . I am a fan. I can't wait to come back.

Such a great place to shop!…read more When you think farmer's market...normally you think outdoors...but this was inside. Apparently, this is a common type of shopping venue here...and it's fantastic! There were many rows of vendors here, and all were pleasant! The first thing that really hit me (walking down every aisle), was the variety of vendors. Yes, there was some overlap, but overall, it was a very wide selection of food and merchandise....my wife even bought a purse here! The second thing I noticed was the high quality meat and produce. If I lived close by, this is where I would shop. You could tell the people that worked here took pride in their food, and there was a visible difference in how their customers reacted, trusted, and relied on the vendors for recommendations. We were able to sample a bunch of items, thankfully....and everything was good...but of all the items we tried here, the pretzel dog and draft Appalachian root beer was the best! So fun to visit...will be back for sure!
