    Molds

Molds on the tortilla. We tried to exchange but was told by the store manager that there nothing she can do because we didn't have the receipt and the customer service counter is closed. It was a WEGMANS branded item with bar code, what other proof does one need? We expected more from Wegmans but guess we were wrong.

Service seems a bit slow and clumsy. Gotta get some male managers in there to shape the place up a bit. Especially on the night shift.

After living here for a quarter century and enduring an "Asian Desert" we have a fine market for…read moreAsian groceries, not quite H-Mart but pretty darn close. In addition to all the sauces, mostly Vietnamese and Korean, there are seasonings, spices, fresh produce including guavas, durian (frozen whole and peeled), baby bananas (apple bananas? not sure the variety) and Asian greens like Shanghai baby bok choi, gai lan, and water spinach, garlic chives and long beans. Didn't see pea vines but they are quite hard to get. Bulk rice and dried mushrooms, and fresh fish and seafood as well as meats including organ meats. Noodles fresh, frozen and dried as far as the eye can see. A small section of housewares. Outside the market (which is in the old Toys R Us if you remember back when) there is a small food court with roast duck, banh mi and pastries. There is also a Korean bbq restaurant and a noodle and dumpling restaurant nearby in the parking area, the Korean bbq is across from the market and the noodle dumpling house is next to where the old Borders bookstore had been (on the way out of the shopping center.) Worth the trip. We enjoy cooking at home, especially Asian food and we enjoy grocery shopping so this was a really fun excursion. And since we eat a lot of bok choi, we'll be back soon.

It's a large Asian grocery store that sells everything from fresh seafood, produce, cooking tools, frozen food, and more. It has a small food court area with a few vendors, which is really why we stopped by, but we explored the store after lunch. If we lived in the area, we'd shop here all the time.

It's much smaller than the newly-opened Hung Vuong for sure, but it also provides a much more efficient shopping experience--you won't feel overwhelmed and get lost in the endless aisles. New Chinese/Asian grocery store alert!…read more Located in the Swedesford Plaza shopping center, it's not big market, but very clean and well lit inside. Nice selections of Asian vegetables, fruits, price is not as low as Chinatown lower than some other suburban Asian markets. According to the owner, the produce comes in daily, which is great to know. Frozen section (dumplings, buns, fishballs, etc) contains some nice brands that I could only find in New York/North Jersey previously. They have meat and Seafood (frozen and live), especially live fish, lobster and crabs (seasonal). Tons of noodles, rice, tofu, dried goods, condiments, sauces, and big selection of snacks. Super nice owners. They kept telling me that they would continue to stock their shelves daily. If you need something specific and can't find, ask them; they get their supplies from Philly and New York and are willing to find items when there's a demand. If they're unable to find it due to supply shortage, they would tell you. I really appreciated their honesty. Real-time updates via WeChat group, but it's mostly in Chinese. I would wait a bit until they are fully stocked, but there's definitely great potential to be my go-to Asian grocery store. Note: their current closing time is 7:30, not 8pm.

People used to read the Joe cartoons and think it was novel, lol. Soon, alternative-type grocery stores were en vogue, and that trend lives today. Staff is professional, not smartarse like Media TJ's. They work hard, and products are thoughtfully made, with consideration for food politics, and TJ's always comes in at an attractive price. This store is always clean, organized, and promptly being stocked. It's always insanely busy and customers are selfish and pushy. I've seen stock put out and grabbed from the hands of employees, until nothing's left. People are d!cks in line, too. No courtesy to others ahead of you if a new line opens. Acme customers have better manners. But this happens at the Media and Concord TJ's stores too. In decades of TJ's experience, most TJ's customers in the Philly area are pretentious a-holes and for this reason, I go as seldom as possible. Then again, WF customers overlap and pretty much suck too. Something about alternative supermarkets brings out the worst in people (or locals are just the worst people). Gateway is a NIGHTMARE with parking pretty much all the time. The weird exit where you snake through the end of the center and wait in line for 10minutes to make any left, my God! Could they not have figured out any other way to merge with the 202 off ramp? Even a 5 points down there by the exit would make better sense. Off ramp drivers are already dangerous and stupid there, and there is NEVER any shortage of selfish local men in designer cars cutting off EVERYONE. Yes, it's normally men here... it's women on 30. The parking lot is a dumpster fire!
