This Wegmans got it all, huge parking located and well.lit even in the night. I stopped here to get some vegetables, fruits, and quick grab to eat food. The interior of the store is well kept and is easy to navigate for amu shopping needs, be it grocery, vegetables, fruits or bakery, diary, and beverages. The bakery section has a lot of freshly baked items, and my favorites are sourdough bread and pumpernickel bread from them. The food section has order to made pizza or slices and then take-out options available. During late hours, they have pre-made food for quick grab and go as well. The fruits looked so fresh and definitely on good quality. The parking lot is very well lit and feels safe even during late hours. The GPS might take you behind the store, and that place looks odd. I requested ham to be cut very thin at the deli counter because I was cooking with it. What I got is not only the thin meat as requested but also thin slices of the plastic that covers the meat. Don't you have to unwrap the meat in order to slice it? I don't know but this is what I had to pick out of the ham before I cooked it for quiche. Also, in the past I used to buy the Prochuitto there but at some point they started getting lazy and started cutting it thick! It tastes like a glob of meat which is why I now buy my Prochuitto at the Amish market in west town!!! They cut it so beautifully that it's a treat to eat!!!! I have to still say I kind of don't like coming here unless I am in the area for something else. The KOP Wegman's is much more preferable. Something to do with subtleties in the demographics of shoppers here. A segment little uppity, little HENRY. Of note, Vanguard HQ is close by. I personally prefer Fidelity. Those who know will understand. Anyhoo, reason for this update, Wegman's now features Korean Kim Bap ! Options I saw were vegan (what a shame since I personally like egg) and shrimp. The shrimp is there but small and unobstrusive but yet it works. This is the bomb for supermarket sushi, and now the best Wegman's have. To me, Wegman's sushi has always been meh, a reluctant buy for the occasional lunch, for its convenience. But the Kim Bap is different. It is pretty good. Tastes like the real thing imo. Nice bit of sesame oil and sesame seeds. Spinach, korean radish, the proper seaweed. My new go-to. Feels weird it still comes with the little fake wasabi packet and the pickled ginger. Totally unnecessary. Little pricey of course, compared to what you would buy in a Korean supermarket like Hmart or Assi. For this price, you would typically get double the amount. But this is worth it. And the Kim Bap at Korean supermarkets have gone downhill anyway. I suspect they are prepared by Mexicans that are often employed there. read more

Great store. Unfortunately, the nasty lady night manager is back. I hit this location maybe once/twice a week around 11-11:30 on my way home from a job. I'm always in and out in probably 10/15 minutes. The night manager lady is always standing inside the front entrance to meet any customers with a cold frown and sharply letting them know that the store will be closing promptly at 12:00. She's even been seen discretely following customers around giving them the evil eye. This is 15/20 minutes before the poster closing time. It's never busy at this point. Just a few poor soles try to buy some bread or something. Guess this ladies got more important things to do though. Bravo for the great customer service! read more

This Wegman's is right around the corner from us. We went late at night to avoid the crowd. It was nice to see everything organized and in place. My husband and I were able to find items on our list pretty easily except for some Brillo sponges. Even though Wegman's is a little much for our price range, we enjoy going once a month for the variety and great options. read more

I am fascinated by the lack of creativity in the hot soup selection. Day after day after day, Broccoli Cheddar, Rottiserie Chicken, Italian Wedding. And, $6+ for a small soup? it would be difficult to post a more positive review of a grocery store. I just left Wegmans in Malvern this afternoon after collecting over 20 broken down wine boxes. I'd visited the store earlier that day, on the advice of one of the staff who I'd asked about picking up boxes on my regular shopping day the previous Friday. He advised to stop in the following Tuesday around noon, which is when they got their wine shipments in. I went around noon and was told they'd be happy to break down boxes and save for me. I just needed to pick them back up that day. I'm in the middle of a very large move, and the ability to pick up so many free broken down boxes with a smile and willingness from the staff of grocery store means a lot. read more

Got there pizza and it was not what I thought it would have been. Wegmans Malvern is my go to grocery store. They do get very busy but that's any Wegmans. The meat is always fresh, the veggies are always fresh and 99% of the time the shelves are well stocked. The people who work there are always friendly (especially the guy that stocks the produce Dept, he says hello to everyone). You can tell the people who work at Wegmans love working there and Wegmans takes good care of them. They also did a amazing job during the pandemic of reminding customers and staff to follow social distancing, wash hands and wear masks (they made announcements frequently). They now do not require masks. We frequently order instacart and dinner (they have great sandwiches and pizza). I do wish they would bring back the Asian bar but understand why they aren't. They also have a great beer and wine selection. read more

Not was I was hoping for Wegmans service!!! I came here to instacart shop and had to refund most of my order because they were out of stock on everything. I work at concordville Wegmans and the service at the malvern one was horrendous! The cashier didn't even great me and ignored me the entire time. My eggs were bagged with cans and things that would crush them!! My bread was put with meat and other items that it shouldn't be! This is so unacceptable. Wegman's used to be a wonderful store with a huge selection & very good produce. Now the fruit they sell is the worst. At least 1/2 of the strawberries & blueberries I buy are bad as soon as I open the box. Prices have gone up & the quality is terrible ! I feel so ripped off shopping there. read more

This store has really gone downhill. Shelves poorly stocked with many items missing. They wait until the store is busy and then block the aisles to restock. Lines at check-out with employees available but managers won't open more lines. Produce sometimes not fresh. Management's new standard seems to be "not as bad as Acme." The store was terrific when it opened but no more. Maybe they think we won't notice, or won't care. Wrong! read more

Sushi- I understand that Wegmans is Sukiyabashi Jiro, and obviously the chefs, that prepare the Sushi rolls are No Jiro Ono ....but seriously.. the sloppy, messy for instance, the Spicy Shrimp Roll /Quinoa Brown Rice, I hesitantly bought this evening for dinner..because its appearance was sloppy. For sometime now , the Sushi rolls at Wegmans , in my opinion, are messy, sloppy heavy handed with rice, and apparently are NOT made by a maki master...they are really just messy in appearance, my 5 yr old could do and has done better..but tonight the cucumber that was used was so water looged and spoiled the shrimp was mushy, the scallions on top were also recycled as I feel the vegetables used in the sushi rolls were NOT..maybe Wegmans is recycling day old vegetables for there Sushi Rolls...but I should have never purchased then to begin with..for the appearance and the carelessness or inexperience manner they were made. Shrimp was not fresh..we had to throw them out..but I can not believe the Sushi chefs working behind counter at Wegmans have the audacity to even display and put them out to the public...they should be embarrassed and ashamed to call them sushi rolls. Good thing Jiro never walked in..BUYER BEWARE! if i could give Wegmans less than 1 star i would read more
