As usual for the company, the store was super clean and aisles were very wide making it easy to navigate. It's not very large but you can find great deals on grocery items. They have everything from fresh food to frozen food. There are even special finds sometimes that rotate in. The checkout process was simple. You have a choice of self checkout or checking out with an employee. If you're new to the brand, just keep in mind that it's stripped away a lot of things others grocers use in order to keep cost down. There are less employees, a lot of items are not name brand, shopping carts, you provide your bags, you rent shopping carts.

Finally, I loved their selection of local beers, fresh hot food, seafood, breads & bagels, etc. Like I said, they really seemed to take the word "fresh" to heart, and it didn't feel like a marketing gimmick. My one (1) complaint is that the store was literally freezing! I didn't bring a jacket because I went during the middle of summer, but I had to leave early because I was so cold. Lots of parking, free grocery carts, food & produce are always fresh! Large aisles, clean and I never have to ask nor search around the store. I always go in the morning while others are at work, so peaceful and people not running all over me. Ive never had any issues with customer service. Yes, you may have to wait a few minutes to check out. Yes, you just may have to check your self out. And YES, Walmart is worse with wait times and rude employees daily thru out the entire store. I have reported the deli, vision, and the auto dept for nonsense. I go in Walmart for a last ditch only. I decided to decrease my stress dealing with Walmart, by patronizing other grocery stores for a better experience. So yeah I will continue to shop here and save a few coins. I appreciate Lidl coming to Lexington. Keep up the good work!

At first I didn't think they had them cause I didn't see them but then, sitting on the shelf was the last box of two cannolis. I was BEYOND happy!!! I they taste so d**n good!! This store has great selections to make your grocery shopping experience enjoyable. I also ended up finding items that I haven't seen in some of the other locations I normally shop in, which was a great deal for me! I will say that making this trip was worth it. Not exactly sure where they fall in price comparison with other grocery retailers. I usually only stop in for 1 or 2 things that maybe needed last minute, while visiting the area. However, having the loyalty card usually helps to capitalize or any sales. Just a Note: The price on Talenti and Häagen-Dazs are little more expensive then I'm accustomed to.

The workers seem miserable. 3 cashiers stood at one register and continued to gab and eat chips while my husband bagged our groceries. All while some manager sat in the office on the phone watching the whole thing. The young lady who was our cashier couldn't say hello or thank you. She looked befuddled the whole time. What a shame. After standing at the sandwich for 10 min while the person behind the counter was having a conversation with a management comparing note on who had the most memorable upbringing, I was finally acknowledged. The lady behind the counter asked " you want a sandwich "? Before I could reply the other person came back to ask another question about their previous conversation. At this point my child and I decided to leave. We exited receiving the same greeting as we entered,NONE. I will definitely continue to patronize Publix, however this was my first and last time going to this particular location.

That thought is very easy to have because my experience has been great at all Publix stores, and they are branching out further north. I personally think they have better customer service than Wegmans and definitely have better fried chicken (Mardi Gras wings) and sandwiches than many grocery stores. What I like is their commitment to cleanliness and consistency across their chain. It reminds me of HEB in that you do not see employees just standing around. The people who work there are always busy but never so busy that they do not take the time to ask if you need help. There is no issue of trying to pretend they do not see customers or an issue of constantly on their phones.

I really like their healthy salads & sandwiches. For vitamins & face products i use their other store on Rosewoodd Also on sundays in both stores, seniors receive 10% off. I do not have a car; so this mini mkt is a 20 minute walk compared to the larger stores which is abt 1'1/2 hr walk.
