the front of a grocery store

This was my first time in an Aldi and loved it so much I went back 3 more times before the end of my trip. Everything I bought was just incredible. I hope they open up one in Hawaii!

We love Aldi. The stores have mostly the same brands. Depending on the location, you may see items for that area. Northern Virginia will have inventory not stocked at SW DC. The Beltsville location is near IKEA. The aisles are wider than other Aldi's. At Hyattsville, if someone has a giant pallot of items, you can't move your cart through. At this store, there is room to shop while employees load the shelves. The employees were helpful even when busy stocking items. The produce area was decent. The Halloween items were creative. You could overdose on pumpkin flavored items here. There were four open registers. Customers were the focus of the store. I wish this location was closer.

I highly recommend these energy sparkling beverages

Hey everyone once again I just had to stop in one of my favorite grocery stores. I purchased some of the Stonemill everything bagel seasoning. I purchased the Asiago cheese, Himalayas pink salt & jalapeño. So I had to go home and fix something so that I can try one of the seasoning & of course the Asiago cheese seasoning is my favorite it's a must purchase. Then I purchased some Antibacterial scented wipes & these wipe i would say is a highly recommended purchased. Because they left my hands soft they don't have a weird smell it don't leave my hands sticky. I purchased the cherry blossom & Hawaiian coconut both scents smell just like what it is. Now these two are my favorite scents ihat I try to get my body spray or lotions in these scents. But If you don't like these scent they do have two other scents. The best part was twenty wipes in a box was only forty nine cents so I definitely will return in purchase more. They're individually wrapped so they can easily be place in a book bag, lunch bag, purses, or anywhere else maybe needed. Also I been purchasing these v8 sparkling beverages for a while now. They are so refreshing and delicious they're made from black & green tea. One source of vegetable so that a big deal for me any way I can get more vegetables in daily it's a winner. I'll highly recommend all the things I purchased today ENJOY

Y'all know that I love a good deal, I mean seriously. Came to this location on Mother's Day...not sure if it was the fact that it was a Sunday or the fact that it was Mother's day, but I was slightly underwhelmed with the store, it's selection, the cleanliness, etc. Everything was kind of out of place, there were boxes in the aisle, the produce if available was less than desirable. It isn't what I am accustomed to in an Aldi. On a positive note, I was able to find some great finds, and the staff kept the line moving quickly and was quite pleasant. I hear that this is genearlly a great location, I'm wondering if they were just having an off day. I love a bargain, a discount, to be frugal, so if I'm in the area. I'd return.

Aldi is A-OK in my opinion. You get the basics, but then there are some things you will find that will surprise you. For instant, marzipan stollen for $2.99. My German-blooded pal loves this stuff. Specialty cheeses for cheap. However, if you see something you like, buy a lot of it as it may be a limited item and never return. I did not see one advertised item, and the herb plants for $1.99 were sickly looking. However, milk, cheese and eggs are much cheaper than the big chain stores. Advice: 1) Do bring your own bags or pay the ten cent per bag fee. You can always use the bags to recycle your paper products at home. 2) Do bring a quarter for the carts. I think it is great that they "rent" you a cart, as you get your quarter back when you return it to the line of carts. No errant carts to be found in the parking lot rolling towards your car. 3) Try a no brand name cracker. It won't kill you.

Busy store and very hard working people. They have an extensive bread section but I'm leaving carbs alone until after my cruise. I went specifically for vegetables because I heard through the grapevine that they had a great selection of produce. LO and behold they did and I got tomatoes, grapes, lettuce, and a whole bunch of stuff I hope I eat! I also got a bunch of high protein power bars that I can take on my trip next week. I was going to get some 10 lobsters in the freezer section but I like my seafood fresh. Overall the store was clean and had everything I needed for a healthier lifestyle.

Rudest cashier ever! Shame on you for hiring people like this, Aldi!

This location is always crazy cramped. Glad they made one in Laurel though. Items like the meats haven't been good lately though...

I just love this spot. I've been coming here over the years to get my fill of Pennsylvania Dutch…read moretreats, which allows me to get from DC without having to drive all the way to Pennsylvania. This spot has so many wonderful food stands. Upon walking in, you can pick up a cart to explore all of the stands. My kids love this place as much as me since you can find so much variety. Our first stop is the very busy Amish soft pretzel stand. My kids love the standard soft pretzel dipped in melted butter and topped with rock salt. My personal favorite are the stuffed soft pretzels like the pretzels stuffed with roast beef and cooper sharp cheddar. Nothing tastes better! There are also many other stands that offer fresh produce, meats, cheeses and baked goods. I particularly like Bieler's Donuts, the same place you'll find packed lines in Philadelphia right here. It's such a fun place and my kids love it. But most importantly, this is dad's spot!

Using his wits, his ingenuity, and unparalleled levels of skill and perseverance, Aatami Korpi, who earns the moniker of "the man who cannot die," escapes not just bombs and machine gun fire but a plane deployed as a missile. And yet, the most moving moment of the film is not found in one of its many arresting action sequences but in a single line of dialogue, spoken by one of six Finnish men, who, along with one teenager and one boy, carrying hatchets, axes, and tools, interrupts the battle-finished Korpi's work on his new home to ask in Finnish, subtitled in English, "We thought you might need some help?" Speechless and shaking with relief and joy, Korpi watches the strangers get to work on his roof, walls, and foundation. That level of kindness, assistance, delight, joy, skill, and service can be seen in every vendor at the Dutch Country Market Thursdays through Saturdays at 9701 Fort Meade Rd in Laurel, MD. Whether it is homemade pretzels, pasta salads, chili, produce, meats, cheeses, popcorn, donuts, or varieties of dark chocolate, candy, or fudge you seek, you will find plenty to whet your appetite. Mind you, most, if not all, of everything contains zero preservatives. Our advice is to buy what you can enjoy soon or share your purchases with company before it's too late.
