We are locals but it was awesome to "get away" and have a staycation. Beautiful location and just steps away from the quaint little town of Fort Langley. My husband was able to go to work still and I would stroll the town with my little boys! The playground and pool are a fun addition as well! We didn't get a chance to go this year and missed it so much!! Definitely recommend this location to anyone wanting a beautiful RV site!

We went to the Ferndale Public Library often to connect. I wish the park (which is aware) posted that there was no Verizon cell there. They are also aware that their WIFI is horrid. We are used to park WIFIs being a joke, but with no cell service, it was a difficult stay for us to keep in touch with loved ones and other contacts. If these issues don't matter to you, the park is very nice, clean, and a good location.

This place is not recommended at all. From not being allowed to have a picnic table (only overnight…read moreguests), to being too noisy playing with the dogs. Not allowed in the showers, as their 90yr old park spy didn't like "The looks" of my wife and son. We filled a small dog pool for the pooches on the hot days and no sooner had we started filling it (Less than 35 gallons) we were told no pools. They said this was posted at the office. Keep in mind this is the office that is always locked and unattended and everything from checkout to check in is done by messages and email. We, and I assume others as well, are followed and spied on. If you stay, keep your head on a swivel and your eyes open as you are watched. The owners and management are rude and snotty. We were scheduled to stay for many months but after less than three weeks we are packing up and leaving. Gate is always open so security is also a risk here. Most other tenants are great. The others have nothing but time to fill and axes to grind. Typical off site owners who run this by keyboard and shitty management. We just finished our latest tour of the states and stayed at a little over 100 koa and private campgrounds this go around and loved all of them!! Except this one. DO NOT STAY HERE! There are tons of vacancies at way nicer parks for same $$$ or cheaper. We give this park a big fat double thumbs down with a raspberry on top.

For example today I attempted to refill a propane cylinder.. a contractor comes around every Thursday but since i missed him, and I still needed my tank filled.. I asked for some help.. however, since there is no monetary incentive $$.. nobody on staff could (or would..) tell me where to go:( Oh and if you're in the shower and some flushes the toilet.. hopefully they know to warn you otherwise you will be scalded from hot water..!!

Our cell phones didn't have any service after crossing the border, so we had to rely solely on our GPS which got us ridiculously lost due to recent construction changes unknown to the GPS in the Surrey area where the campgrounds located. Wifi service is available only around the front office and pool, which is slightly inconvenient but did the trick. The neighbors were friendly, and the bathroom showers were free, clean, and nice and hot.

Hi everyone, I have…read moreto say it's one of the worst campgrounds around, if you want to stay there they want a $100.00 deposit and their hydro has gone down{not working} a few times and never mind their hydro boxes are over loaded. I went to check why their hydro wasn't working because I was having problems{over and over}, because other people in the park mentioned I should check it out, to give you an idea, myself and the next door neighbor had both are breakers go out at same time, we find out we are connected even though we are supposed to pay hydro separate and yet we are supposed to be on separate breakers and yet the box where it shows we are it isn't. {where the meter is, that was separate but yet breakers weren't} Also the owners are so rude, nice up to they get you, in the park. I had stayed for a few months in the winter, they had fallen trees including a neighbor had large tree branch smash his back window of his car {They didn't and wouldn't pay for it either} and they said they will not get someone in there to correct the problem by cutting back dangerous parts of trees throughout park. I have to say I'm a advocate to NOT want to cut trees down unless really needed, in which this was desperately needing. Anyways besides that it is pretty when you go further back in the park and if you want to fish, they are smaller mind you but could be a great experience for kids. The pond is smaller but quaint. Most of the park does look like a trailer park, not for me, I had booked it only because I had looked online and had never been there before. What sets this little park from the rest is the peace and tranquility I felt there. As an older woman camping alone, I felt completely safe. The permanent residents next door, Dennis and his wife, add a personal touch every day with little gifts of welcome. A most rewarding experience.
