Five star rating... but this place deserves 10 stars!…read more Truly exceptional establishment in its cleanliness and maintenance of facilities and grounds, outstanding and such friendly staff and overall beautiful & peaceful environment. As frequent travelers from Seattle area to Canada for our daughters hockey games, we look forward to staying at Cedars RV Resort and will continue the tradition we've started. Just an extremely well-run operation and we're so happy we discovered this place with such wonderful people. One time the door on our travel trailer somehow wasn't properly secured when we left it... so during a breezy rainstorm while we were not there, the door physically opened. Scott, Cedars maintenance manager, was first to notice the problem and shut the door, but it could not be locked without the key, so Yvette, operations manager, was so kind to call me to make me aware of the situation, out of concern that the door might open on its own again and our camper might be subjected to water damage. Yvette went out of her way to let me know what happened in case I wanted to lock the door, and I thought this really speaks to the high level of customer care at Cedars. With all of her other responsibilities as manager of operations at Cedars, this kind of concern by Yvette and her staff for those at the property was really wonderful, and points to why Cedars is such a beautiful, well-maintained and popular vacation spot. Yvette, you and your staff rock!

Their bathrooms and showers are well maintained, and the public use areas are always kept up as well. They staff a little snack shack where you can find limited swim gear and accessories, plus impressive snacks, coffee, ice cream, candy, etc. The lake is a non-motorized boat lake, but they rent out water toys or bring your own float islands and paddleboards. Mt. Constitution is also found within the park and is a must visit! Views into Canada and over the WA coast are to die for on a clear day. Whether you're visiting just for the day or longer, Moran State Park is an oasis worth experiencing!

I had only wished we had one more day. My group did the Cascade Lake Loop, Cascade Fall's, plus give or take hopping on to another trail to widen the "loop." Day passes are $10 bucks and go off an honor system with completing a short form with vehicle and govt issue ID details and dropping them into a collection box. Plenty of places to park near multiple different trail entrances. The trails are well maintained & the trees are massive. Sugar shack offered up some delicious ice cream during our widening of said loop. There were clean bathrooms and a large playground located near this pit stop. Plenty of entrances/parking to different trailheads can be found along the outskirts. Definitely recommend for anyone taking a vacation on Orcas Island. And as always practice leave no trace!

We are locals but it was awesome to "get away" and have a staycation. Beautiful location and just steps away from the quaint little town of Fort Langley. My husband was able to go to work still and I would stroll the town with my little boys! The playground and pool are a fun addition as well! We didn't get a chance to go this year and missed it so much!! Definitely recommend this location to anyone wanting a beautiful RV site!

However, there's too much traffic for my liking, and the trains are a bit much as they're only a stones throw away and sound their horns every time all night long. People are constantly driving in and out of the park up to and slightly past the cut off. If you're parked near the road it gets old in a hurry. The general store in the park is fairly priced & handy. The wifi is very limited at your site but is unlimited at the store. It costs $25 extra per week to park a second vehicle here or $10 a night. A little bit much imo. There were loud gun like bangs during the first day I was here and police coming through the first night I was here. As I write this at 21:44 there have been four vehicles through here in the last 15 minutes. Three of which were diesel, and one shining their lights directly into my camp. If you're going to stay here, try and get a spot to the rear of the grounds. It cost me roughly $300 to stay here for a week.

My husband and I are return clients of Lisa's farmstead! I like to call it her Farmstead Empire !…read more I came this time to check out the tiny house she told me last year she was building. I came for a retreat to do some writing. Lisa outdid herself ! Everything from the amazing comfortable bedding to the amenities (hot tub , grill, dog friendly ) to the darn kitchen sink ! Every touch of elegance by Lisa is truly a work or art. The Oostemas are some of the hardest working people I know and coming to their property feels like coming to a home away from home. The stay here is priceless whether you're in their glamper, their bottom level suite or their tiny house. (They also have rv parking and camping) Any option you go with you'll be glad you did. This is the true feeling of farm life is captured here which has stolen my heart ! One day when I have kids I will bring them here ! Thank you again Lisa and Glen. We will be back.

The owners are very nice people. It's a working farm with raspberry fields to walk thru and animals to visit in the barn. The pig and the goat were particularly fun to feed. They have black angus and wagyu beef for sale as well as fresh eggs. When we were there they also had the most delicious blueberries I've ever purchased for $1/basket. The sites are mostly full hookups in a flat grassy area with a picnic table and fire ring for each. You can also boondock here. There's a ton of stuff to do in this beautiful area including the tap trail for beer lovers. Lynden is a very charming town that worth seeing. There is a museum as well as historic walking tours of the cemetery. People picking up their new Escape travel trailers often stay here, so it's fun to see the new ones arriving.
