This place is not recommended at all. From not being allowed to have a picnic table (only overnight…read moreguests), to being too noisy playing with the dogs. Not allowed in the showers, as their 90yr old park spy didn't like "The looks" of my wife and son. We filled a small dog pool for the pooches on the hot days and no sooner had we started filling it (Less than 35 gallons) we were told no pools. They said this was posted at the office. Keep in mind this is the office that is always locked and unattended and everything from checkout to check in is done by messages and email. We, and I assume others as well, are followed and spied on. If you stay, keep your head on a swivel and your eyes open as you are watched. The owners and management are rude and snotty. We were scheduled to stay for many months but after less than three weeks we are packing up and leaving. Gate is always open so security is also a risk here. Most other tenants are great. The others have nothing but time to fill and axes to grind. Typical off site owners who run this by keyboard and shitty management. We just finished our latest tour of the states and stayed at a little over 100 koa and private campgrounds this go around and loved all of them!! Except this one. DO NOT STAY HERE! There are tons of vacancies at way nicer parks for same $$$ or cheaper. We give this park a big fat double thumbs down with a raspberry on top.

We went to the Ferndale Public Library often to connect. I wish the park (which is aware) posted that there was no Verizon cell there. They are also aware that their WIFI is horrid. We are used to park WIFIs being a joke, but with no cell service, it was a difficult stay for us to keep in touch with loved ones and other contacts. If these issues don't matter to you, the park is very nice, clean, and a good location.

While there are plenty of RV lots here, privacy is limited, since there's not much in the way of shrubs around the sites. However, it's a huge lake, and loads of friendly people are all over the campground. Several dozen folks have had their RV's parked up here for 10-20 years, and enjoy meeting new campers. For the squeamish, they have clean outhouses and pay per use hot showers as well as horse shoe pits. The beach is a little rocky at first, but the water is nice once you get used to it. I'm told the water levels are at a all time high this year so the dock hasn't been put out yet, but the swimming is great!

Also there is free internet at the campground. We had a really relaxing time. This is the first time B and I camped together without anyone else. We got some alone time that gave us a chance to learn about each other. Staff were super friendly. The campground is gated. The gate closes at 10pm.

The campground is nicely laid out providing lots of all sorts. Yes your neighbors are close, but we still found it very personable in our own space as everyone keeps to themselves unless you go looking for connections :) The campground is tidy, the staff is profoundly helpful and being pet friendly is a huge bonus! The facilities are clean and stocked daily, garbage bins are everywhere and there are porta potties spread throughout as well. Quite time at 10PM is a huge relief for us early birds, everyone respected it! I fully support this campground and will happily be back!

We are locals but it was awesome to "get away" and have a staycation. Beautiful location and just steps away from the quaint little town of Fort Langley. My husband was able to go to work still and I would stroll the town with my little boys! The playground and pool are a fun addition as well! We didn't get a chance to go this year and missed it so much!! Definitely recommend this location to anyone wanting a beautiful RV site!

This private, gated community is complete with pools, activity center, 11miles of paved private roads (learned to drive here) that are great for biking, and even has a security patrol 24/7 to keep things safe! Each lot is privately owned and there are strict rules on what you can put on that land. Most people have a small park model trailer with a bunk shed for extra space. Sounds a little ghetto but these trailers can cost upwards of $50k. Most are kept nicely. In the last few years the Glen has added cable so owners van now have cable TV, Internet and even a landline. It makes for the prefect place to work remotely for those lucky enough for a break from the office! I love coming here any time of year, but summer time late nights around the fire is always my favorite followed closely by the exact same after a day skiing at Baker!

It turned a disappointing event into a wonderful memory. The Oostema Farmstead is a picturesque farm and you can't beat how nice the people are. I highly recommend this place if you're ever in the area and you'll be glad you did. Or, just make it your destination.
