The project being a tree removal, as well planting within a foot away (due to sprinklers only being able to reach so far). With that being said I had set a time and date with them to do the job. I ordered the tree for delivery the day prior, but once the day came for the job it was a no show. Concerned, I contacted NW Tree Work to see what was going on. Turns out they are short staff. I'm pretty reasonable so I go ahead and try to reschedule. This time, I'm told the job is more complex so a new date is set. Once the new date rolls around, again, no show. At this point I'm constantly contacting NW Tree Work to the point they are reading my messages but not replying. I have to call every single time to get a hold of someone, to which I'm told I will get a reply later in the day, and to which I don't. It takes me contacting each day to try and reschedule only to be told a date the project will get done by and for someone to not show up. Big waste of time. On top of that, when speaking to John he assured me the prior weekend he'd get the job done and not only that move the tree out of public view and water it so it's okay. Sadly, none of that ever happened or came into fruition, the trees flowers started dying off due to it not being properly taken care of which it would have been had it been planted as planned. Ultimately this lead to a lot of back and forth. Whether its short-staffed or health related issues, telling a customer a date you're going to get the job done and continuously bailing is not the right response to do. The kicker was John calling me later that day to tell me how to give more trust and understanding to professionals and how delays happen and it's all normal. How about building that trust with customers first by not bailing on them multiple times over and over again, then we can have that conversation. Aside from all the negatives, I can give them credit for at least reimbursing me on the tree (though they only would if they ended up taking it). I'm not typically one to leave reviews, but I think it's important for anybody else on this platform to be informed with what potential risks you have working with certain companies. Emotions aside, this is just my personal experience with the company and for that I would not recommend them moving forward.

When we spoke with Dmitriy at Tree Experts NW, we were impressed at how confident he was that our yard could be restored. He arrived with his assistant Jason and got right to work, toppling our tree with efficiency and safety in mind. Several shrubs encroached on our house and roof, and blocked our windows. Everything came down smoothly and quickly. They came back the next day to stump grind and clean up. When all was said and done, our yard looked great and you wouldn't even know that the guys were here. I highly recommend Tree Experts NW. They were so nice to deal with and followed through with everything we agreed on. They did a great job.

On 10/02/19 finally around 4:30pm I received a call back from Anna and as I picked up to start talking she hung up so I called her right back and had to leave another message and waited for another 20 minutes before she called me back and said I must have butt dialed you and that she needed to call me back anyway. We start talking about days that would work for us and she had one day in mind but it was not good for me, so I gave her 3 other options that would work and she couldn't give any answer and said that she would have to call me back with the answer on 10/03/19. On 10/03/19 at 7am I called them again to set up a day and a time and once again no answer ... still waiting for her to call me back. This company only has 2 guy's on the job and 2 guys on call and no cherry-picker or a lift. 10/04/19 by this time I have called 4 other companies and have had quicker responses back. At this point I will not be using this company. Poor customer relations, lack of  communication, therefore their services are probably poor and worthless.

A neighbor recommended: Mike's General Landscaping in Camas WA. I have since hired Mike (Actually Ishmael) Vazquez, owner/landscaper and I am very pleased with the quality of his work and the fact that I can trust him to arrive when he says that he will and be very diligent about doing my landscape maintenance while he is at my home. Mike uses his Translator app on his phone to converse due to Spanish being his native language and doing that is just fine with me. Mike is very good and careful about asking before he trims stuff to ensure we are both on the same page and Mike has good suggestions regarding what he thinks would be advantageous for my yard. I am very pleased that Mike was recommended to me and is now is taking care of my landscaping projects. His prices are also reasonable.

After hiring a contractor…read morethat advertised for tree removal service but was unable to complete the job, Paul was gracious to fit me into his schedule early and had the tree removed and site cleaned up in a matter of minutes. They are communicative, punctual and do what they say they will do. They have the right tools and equipment to get the job done quickly and a pleasure to have had the opportunity to have them do the work. My advise. Hire a licensed, experienced and certified professional tree service the first time. I would highly recommend calling them and getting the job done quickly and done right.

As for the employees of the company, when they saw how distressed I was at their work they laughed. And they continue to laugh at my distress as they packed up all of their equipment and drove off. He reaffixed my gate and used a blower to clean up any additional debris. Was really very happy with his work and with Portland Stump Grinding. They got to me right away after my initial call and were very timely in scheduling the work. I highly recommend them.

They then had to rescshedule to a few days later. 2) They left the stumps in my yard that I have to dispose of (the last time, they took the stumps away) 3) I was given a quote spanning $25 and was charged the higher amount (which I don't think I should have, after their mistake and wasted time going to the wrong house). 4) I got a somewhat snippy response when I asked them to wave to 4% visa fee.
