It was relaxing inside and well lit with coffeehouse music. *Their Coconut Mall drink -- a cinnamon-brown sugar latte with a coconut cream cold foam from their summer menu. My gosh! It was DELICIOUS. Their coffee is amazing and the mix of flavors in this iced latte was incredible - everything melded together so well. I'm so grateful for second chances because this trip was great and I feel like this is a hidden gem in the Memphis coffee scene.

I had a butter biscuit this morning for breakfast, and the biscuit was golden, warm, carefully buttered and served with two choices of jelly. This place is a refuge from the hustle of most coffee shops and features indoor and outdoor seating. One thing to note: if you're in a hurry, come on a day when you have time. Service isn't glacially slow, but it's definitely not fast. That's part of the charm.

It's inside the Front Porch building--a new community hub on the campus of Second Baptist Church on Walnut Grove. Bottom line: it's a legit addition to Memphis's coffee/café lineup. The coffee is decent and the baked goods/food are excellent. Baked goods come from Sweet Lala's and their biscuits are a standout: buttery, flaky, and fresh. The staff are especially welcoming, which makes a bigger difference than people realize. The space is dialed in too--plenty of comfortable seating, tons of natural light, and just enough ambient noise from the nearby co-working areas to stay focused without it feeling dead quiet. Highly recommend. 5 stars.

Drove into Olive Branch on a work trip and was blessed with the opportunity to give this local favorite a try! Parking is plentiful and is right outside, not hard to find either! Upon walking in you'll be greeted with the warmest smiles as you head to the counter to order (Don't forget to take a peak in the cases to grab a fresh pastry, baked good, or pre-prepared meal and/or bottled beverage) After asking for recommendations, I landed upon the BLAT and a Peanut Butter Cookie! Everything is made to order and the cookie was served warm, it was the perfect lunch break a girl could ask for! If you were looking for a sweet treat or an afternoon, pick me up, this is the place to go! The café bakes pastries daily and holy moly are they good! We went on Monday, which was dough day, and it smelled amazing inside. I got a red bean cream cheese bun (pink pastry) which was fluffy sweet bread with sweetened red bean and cream cheese. For those not familiar, sweet red bean is a staple in Asian dessert and it adds hardiness and texture to a pastry. I also got a Tokyo banana cream roll which was half a banana covered in chocolate mousse wrapped in a small fluffy pancake. Finally I tried the New York Chocolate Chip Cookie, which had peanuts inside - yum! 10/10 for flavor and freshness. In addition to pastries, they also have shave ice or bingsu. This is such a wonderful creamy/icy treat to have on a hot day. The individuals working at the counter were super helpful and able to explain all of the desserts we weren't familiar with. I was very impressed with the drink selection. They have boba tea, milk tea, fruit tea, and coffee. Most drinks can also be made non-dairy with alternative milk. I ordered the iced cherry blossom latte with almond milk and it was flavorful, but not too sweet - very good! Super excited to know that they have vegan and non-dairy milk for coffee and tea! I was also impressed by the clear allergy list. This is a great spot for individuals with dietary restrictions. This is a great place to come with a friend to catch up or to take your kids for a sweet treat. Interior is small, but has adequate seating for those wishing to enjoy their treats in-house. There is street parking available or garages close by. Amazing place - if I lived in Memphis I'd be here all the time!! 10/10!
