In the process of buying a new home for my family, we had a general inspection of the property and…read moreit was found that the home had aluminum wiring. Our inspector suggested we get a qualified Electrition to go to the house and give it a once over. That evening we called Efficient Electric and spoke to Mike the owner. He informed us that homes with aluminum wiring can be safe if the proper termination points are used. The next day he sent Brian, a qualified Electrition to our house and his assistant and they opened up every outlet and switch, documenting which ones were safe and unsafe.
