Even though it's under the same parent company, I think they should stick with the Safeway name--it just feels more familiar. I usually shop in-store, but I've used pickup a couple of times at different locations. Every time, the customer service has been friendly and approachable. My most recent experience was just as great--they even gave me a little treat with my order! The order confirmation said it would take about 2 hours, but every time I've used the service, it's been ready in less than that. Super convenient. read more

Worst experience ever. The night manager refused to help me in the most dismissive way possible, refused to give me contact information for store management or the district manager (it's against policy she said). When I called the store to find out when to call back to speak to the actual store director she shortly said "call back in the morning" then when I asked for what times she said "fine just call 7 to 11am". When I asked what days (it's Saturday) she didn't answer then I said "could I call tomorrow" and she acted like I was an idiot and said she told me to call in the morning so obviously not Sunday. I pointed out I was asking what days and she said "you know what dude this isn't cool" and hung up on me. Anyway I still don't know the district managers name but apparently the store director works weekdays 7-11 AM if you need to talk to someone! read more

Decent store but my one complaint (and I've mentioned it before) is that they never have any hand baskets located at the entrance. I always have to walk over to self check out (where they usually have 3 tall stacks of them) before I can start shopping. Was told by the self check out person that they hadn't had a chance to move them to the entrance. But there was no one there! Place wasn't busy at all. And it's not an isolated thing. Last time I was there I was tempted to take one of those stacks to the entrance myself. Especially since the self check out person was just standing there texting on their phone. Frosted Flakes, best by date Oct 8, 2023, 2 days after I bought them. If I go there, I look at dates. Checker is sketchy, slow, I swear he has his hand on scale weighing produce. In my opinion; this Albertsons is a death trap and I think that if you want to catch a disease that could kill your loved ones, or someone else's loved ones that this is the place for you. Covid cases are reaching an all time high and I just came from there where I saw many customers and an employee not wearing masks. these people were not corrected or confronted by staff that I saw and were allowed to move about possibly infecting everyone in the store. My suggestion, in my opinion, if you love your family and care about your fellow man (the employees exposed to this especially) you should shop somewhere else. This used to be my favorite grocery store. Since Covid, they have just not gotten it back together. The Pharmacy staff is really good, so I'm not including them in this. This local Albertsons keeps moving the store around and we're in the middle of yet another move now. Can't find anything because it's all somewhere that now doesn't make sense after we finally learned their last 3 layouts. Wish they'd leave it alone. Not sure what's up with the checkers these days. If you're not good with people, don't work in a people service industry. If you're in management, stop hiring these types. Maybe it's a 2023 youth thing, but over the past year or so, there've been some with questionable social skills. We've seen some of them where we say "Hi, how are you today?"(which should actually be their line) and they proceed to pour out how tired they are and how much of a crappy day they're having. Just a tip: "How are you?" is a greeting. It is not a question. And maybe make some eye contact and speak clearly and be at least friendly. I guess it's no surprise that now they're down to ONE open checker land with a huge line and they've now installed a bunch of self-checkout lanes. Ya know, if I have to check myself out and bag my own groceries, maybe the prices should come down. You're obviously saving on checker dough. See my Lowes review. It's the same story there. I hate those things because it takes jobs away from people, but it seems there aren't enough workers now...or something. So what other direction could it go? Is management trying to phase out human checkers or are the younger folks too entitled (and socially deficit) to take a job with great benefits, a strong union, and flexible hours? Burnt by this store again. Last night I bought about 6 things including 2 bags of Asian stir fry at $1.79 each and a pack of chicken thighs $7.00. Cooked up 1/2 the chicken then dumped a bag of the stir fry in. Wow it looked odd. Flipped the bag over. Expired oct of 2018. Other bag expired in 2020. Needless to say I tossed out the pan of food and recooked with remaining chicken and other bag of fry. Today I stopped in an talked to customer service. Showed these pics asked if this is normal. His reply. Not normal but we stock 60,000 products and it will happen. I said. Judging by expiration date of the bad bag and the good bad the bad bag must of spent 16 months in the store. No offer to refund. No apologies. No nothing other then when I walked away I felt as if I was bothering his with my petty issue. It's to bad. The store does have some very friendly staff. Mind you it is not a lot of money ( for another family every cent counts ) but to not even offer a refund or show companion for failing a customer of selling fresh and quality products. Oh well. Albertsons, oh Albertsons, how I've been waiting to make this review for oh so long. As a previous employee at another location nearby I have to say, this is special moment. Now worry not, this review is not based upon my previous work experience, that is a whole other story that could be composed into a book about a teenagers struggles under a totalitarian management system. Instead I will focus on my most previous experience at this location just the other day. Stopping in for some grocery's before a nice early weekend hike I picked up an organic Sunkist orange and an apple to share with my friend for our lakeside snack. After a beautiful nearly 4 mile ascent up the mountain I was ready to enjoy the fruits of my labor with the delectable citrusy snack I'd picked up earlier. I sat and began peeling away, the aromatic bliss of the orange filled the serene air (lake serene that is). As I went to unlock the oranges fruity goodness I was more than disturbed to the scene that laid before my eyes next. Gangrene could be a word to describe it, fungus would be the more appropriate scientific term. Yes my orange was literally still alive as ever, impregnated with a beautiful green baby in its womb. Unfortunately for me this was the end of my state of bliss and I soon accepted my ill fate. Following this petrifying experience, I conclude that Alberstons produce department is in serious need of boost in standards. Possibly having a union mandated expert orange inspector would be a start. They protected me in the past, they must continue to safeguard me now. Little did I know they should have been depriving me of the food I was selling all along. read more

Love the new Starbucks barista (the Asian lady). She's very nice and pleasant Always makes good drinks and is usually cleaning and organizing when you walk up which makes me feel good about consuming food or drinks there. She is a major upgrade from the last 6 to 10 baristas. I'm not sure if they are quitting or getting fired but there is a ton of turnovers. Please keep her! read more

This is our current neighborhood Albertsons. It definitely isn't the best, but I'm sad to see such a horrible rating for them. The store is usually very clean and the staff is friendly. They have a lot of everyday items we always need. Their food selection is lacking however. Their produce is not the best and they are always out of something I need whether it be a type of vegetable, fruit or salad green. Wish I could give a four star but that might be a bit generous. They deserve a solid 3 overall tho and I'm hoping to bump their score a tiny bit because I am thankful for this store to be right up the road and to have friendly staff. read more

If you are in that weird triangle of Snohomish/Woodinville/Bothell and shop at Albertson's, it's worth the trip to this particular location. Their butcher block has superior quality meats compared to other stores, and even other Albertson's. They get to know you and will not hesitate to cut you a deal on the price per pound of your chosen meat. Like all albertson's, they often mark down ground beef and other things around 8pm as they clean out for the night. Great time to get a good deal on anything else you've got your eye on (Like that New Year's prime rib) Albertson's is just..'my store'. Growing up in Bothell, we didn't have many choices ...I've never liked the downtown QFC and the Canyon Park QFC never got over it isn't still an Olsen's. I still traverse up to this particular location more times than not over even the Canyon Park Albertson's. It's a grocery store, there isn't much to say...but where things count..customer service..Albertson's has always excelled for me. This location has a pretty good restaraunt in the attached strip mall *(Frieda's), and a pretty good dollar store too. read more

Employees here are rude, lazy, and yes, inept. I came here alone with a baby and not one employee offered to help when I was struggling. I had to ask for help out which seemed like a daunting task for the cashiers I had both times I've been here. For the lack of choices they provide in the store, you think they'd make up for it in employees.. sadly, that's a wishful thought. The first night I went in here, a female cashier was asked a question from another customer and I thought the cashier was going to bite her head off!! The manager, standing right behind her looked shocked, but didn't help the situation.. I needed help out and asked for some, but she was apparently too busy being bitter I was left to my own devices. I'd rather struggle than stay around that mess. It's really sad some people allow this unprofessionalism and lack of customer service to run amuck in their facility. More times have I gone into this store lately and found food on the shelves to be already expired or past their pull date. If you have a craving for pie, their Marionberry pie is delicious and most of their pies come in full, half, or quarter packages. Pretty handy! When you walk into this location, you can clearly tell it is well cared for and managed. The store has been clean on 100% of my shopping trips. The staff is friendly and approachable. The downsides of this location are add items sell out fast; however, the staff is very quick and polite at offering competitive substitutions and/or rainchecks. The management also needs to regulate the solicitors who sell solicit outside their entrance (petitions, non profits, ect). read more

This locale is the best Albie's I've visited, and go there for all my general groceries. Don't go for organic stuff or specialty foods, they are overpriced. I should have considered what the lady in front of me was saying the day I picked up my prescription at the pharmacy. Why was her husband heart and blood pressure medication out of sync. Both medications were picked up at the same time on a regular basis,, both were a 30 day supply. And now she was asking the pharmacist why those medications were at a two weeks difference. That lady asked the pharmacist 4 times and not once did she get a good and clear and concise answer to her question. Now that the same thing has happened to me I totally understand her frustrations! I received a thirty day supply of a prescription drug for a month that has thirty one days in it. And trying to get Amy the pharmacist or Linda the pharmacist assistant to fix THEIR MISTAKE!!! Was not going to happen. My prescription clearly states on the bottle do not skip a dose without permission from your doctor. Neither of the above mentioned ladies could rectify their mistake by giving me one pill. The excuse I got was if they did that it would mess up their inventory. The logic of that sentence was beyond my understanding because I was supposed to get a 31 day supply of my prescription for a month that has 31 days in it. So technically their inventory should be over by one pill - the one pill that should have been in my medication bottle. So I don't know what the outcome will be of this situation but here is my review. RUN AWAY FROM THIS PHARMACY AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE SHORTED ON YOUR MEDICATION. AND GET CHARGED FOR THE MEDICATIONS THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE GIVING YOU AND THEY DON'T read more

Decent selection for a smaller store but be careful at checkout-one of my biggest pet peeves at stores is when they advertise sale prices on items and it doesn't reflect at checkout. I went in and picked up one item. It is was advertised for $3.99, with a large yellow sticker. I even read description to make sure item matched. Rang up at $5.99. Clerk was nice enough to go back and check the price, but said she couldn't find the item so price would stand. I had kids with me and did not want to run back and take a picture of the marked price at this point because they were beyond patience. I realize this is only $2 and not a big deal, and I paid it. But I picked this item/brand because it was on sale and the price was not correct in their database. It makes me wonder how many other things I have over paid for also. read more

The employees at this store are great! Everyone is really nice and helpful. They go out of their way to offer help to me. I'm usually there with my two babies and the employees always offer to get things for me even when I don't look like I'm struggling :) The store itself leaves a lot to be desired. The produce department especially doesn't have a very good selection and there are few organic choices throughout the store. I shop here when I just need a few things and can walk over, but the people they have working here make it worth it to come. They're the reason for the four star rating. read more

My everyday store! Everyone is so friendly, Maddy is such a sweet heart she could be anywhere in the store and as soon as she see's me...it's "Hi Tila, how are you doing today" great staff. The bakery is such a life saver. There has been several times I've came in last minute to have a cake made b/c I forgot to order it earlier.....they never seem to say no! We had been buying food here occasionally and liked their 2 for 1 steak prices. But last week we bough a couple packages of what looked like regular sirloin steaks that turned out to be very suspicious. It was definitely NOT beef! It looked like beef (albeit slightly pinker than normal) but cooked like a pork texture and tasted like neither pork nor beef. I was convinced it was horse meat since these scandals have been all over the news lately. And if not HORSE MEAT, than it was something other than BEEF. Go buy some for yourself and see what I mean, yuck!!!!! Or hopefully they smart up and take this crap off their shelves!!! It was really disgusting. Get your act together Albertson's! Honest to God, what we had was not beef and it was not pork. It was mislabeled and it was misleading and it was disgusting. We couldn't even eat it. The staff at Albertsons is very friendly and extremely welcoming. Every single morning there is many delicious donuts to choose from at a good price and everything in the produce department is always looking nice there's fresh fruits that are cut every single morning. I work in the produce department and I cut up all the fresh fruits and I gotta say when you buy fresh fruits that are ready to eat it's a very good price. There's also a pharmacy there for your convenience and everything on the shelves is always very nice and there's always good sales. I would really recommend for you to stop by Albertsons. read more

This store continually has items on the shelf that are either past the pull date or goes bad within a couple of days of purchase. We have complained several times, but nothing changes. We bought a jar of peanut butter two days ago (6/14/2017), my wife just showed me the pull date, which is March 2017!!! Not good!!! I try to avoid this store if at all possible, preferring Winco (pricing/freshness), but my wife still goes back to Albertson's because it's close to home. Three stars due to two excellent employees (who each deserve five stars)--one male cashier who has been there for years and Thao, the pharmacist who goes out of her way to give excellent service to customers and remembers you by name. The one star to average the rating goes to expired foods (and I'm talking by months-prepackaged items) and items advertised on the product as on sale but ringing up at full price. Same as the other complaints mentioned here, check your receipts and expiration dates on the items you buy. I do like the selection of seafood and the prices. But when it says it's $9.45 on the product and it rings up as $11.17 and it was an on the spot purchase that I only picked up because of the price on the product, it does make a difference. And I got the feeling when I went back that the cashier and manager who had to come override thought it was not the best use of their time for $1.72 to refund me the difference. Because they kept saying it's only $1.72. That's right, and I would not have purchased this item had it not been marked as sale, so why isn't it ringing up with the price that's clearly marked on the product? There wasn't even the need to go back to the aisle as it was a sticker on the shrimp. So if it's only $1.72, why did I have to spend five extra minutes showing the sticker and having to defend that the product rang up for more than the advertised price? What about moms shopping with little kids who don't have the time or the elderly who can't always catch these things? I had only two items so it was easy to catch, but I wouldn't have been happy had I gotten home and noticed it then. read more
