It's on me for having trust that there is some sort of tracking on expired products. I bought this overpriced sauce three days ago and go to open it and notice a pretty wild color gradient and looked at the date. It expired NINE MONTHS AGO, DUDE. How the hell are y'all so negligent? On sale item did not ring up on sale at pharmacy counter. So went to checkout at self check. Management said I needed the app. Turns out I didn't. He went on a break and left me there trying to figure it out. Before an employee and 2 more managers got involved. Found out one of my items was not included even though marked on the shelf as on sale. I left without my items after spending 30 minutes and no manager helped me resolve the issue. Do not recommend. Management doesn't even know the difference between sales in the weekly ad vs the app. DO NOT recommend. read more

Boy, I'll tell ya. Albertson's of Mesquite, TX really believe in safe sex! I came in here only to get a few food items and to pick up a prescription -but was intrigued by the plethora of contraceptives they offered. There's an aisle at the back of store with an array of condoms and different lubricants... Some of them I didn't even know existed. But wait. It doesn't stop there...Its even more contraceptives in the pharmacy! Lmbo. Because it doesn't take much for me to giggle like a 12 year old, I found it funny that this small country store had so many items to satisfy your romantic needs. Not mine. Probably yours. All the employees are nice and they will walk with you to your car and put them in the back seat for you. It's mainly due to the fact that there are no designated places to put your shopping cart outside. So after they load your car with your groceries they take the shopping cart inside for you. There is always a sale most of the time. You don't need to have a discount card to get the sale price like at other stores. The checkout lines are usually a breeze. read more

Though Kate Brown, OR Gov has extended the mask mandate, Albertsons, Keck Drive, McMinnville not only allows customers to roam the store without masks, and, though it mandates masks for staff, more than half wear them around their neck and/or strategically placed beneath their noses and loose enough to be ineffective. I've witnessed pharmacy staff walk from the entrance with a "mask around their neck" to the pharmacy, open the door, walk straight to the "pill counting station," and start filling prescriptions WITHOUT WASHING OR SANITIZING their hands or bothering to adjust the mandated mask (which means they entered Albertson's with whatever germs they had on their hands from driving, scratching an itch, touching who knows what). Additionally, some workers at the deli do NOT wear gloves (w/masks below their noses)--AND, DO NOT WASH THEIR HANDS! I've talked to the manager of the store, who said, "If I enforce the mandate, someone's going to get killed." Interesting, "WONDER HOW MANY HAVE DIED FROM COVID HAVING SHOPPED AT ALBERTSON'S HAVING CONTRACTED THE VIRUS--WOULDN'T THAT BE CALLED "MURDER?" On May 7, 2023, I was promised by a deli associate that I would receive 50 pieces of freshly cooked fried chicken. I shopped around in the store, awaiting my order, as the deli associate told me it would only take 15-20 minutes. After making my purchase, I went to the deli to pick up the chicken. The deli associate told me he would meet me at check-out to ensure I purchased the chicken. Weird to me, honestly. I don't know if every customer is treated this way. After purchasing the chicken separately, I received the chicken, and the associate kept my receipt. I honestly don't understand why he decided to keep my receipt. The box was not hot to touch. I opened the box, and the pieces I observed on top seemed to be freshly cooked. It was maybe 6-8 pieces. Upon arrival at family dinner, which was in Seagoville, TX, about 20 minutes away, we discovered that the chicken at the bottom was cold, dry, and discolored. There was no way, in the middle of serving dinner, that I or any family member could drive all the way across town to correct something that was assured to us. Instead, we went a block over and spent additional money to replace Albertsons low standards of chicken. The next day, May 8, 2023, I spoke with Gearld, the store director, and he was the most disgusting person I've ever encountered! After telling him what happened, his immediate response was, "Well, what do you want me to do?" Excuse me, sir! You're the leader of the store. Make this right! He also went on to make an accusation, saying that the deli associate did make it fresh, but the associate was off today, so he couldn't confirm. He would also check the cameras to see if the associate did as he said! If I'm the customer, why are you badgering me and making me feel like I'm a liar? He didn't offer a solution and told me he would follow up once he talked to the associate. Why does the customer have to wait? As store director, this should have been resolved immediately! I will no longer give my business to this location! It's really disheartening that people like Gearld are exposed to the public! He needs to do his job or retire if he's tired! I work relatively close to this store. Yeah the area around it looks sketchy and the store itself may seem a bit rough from the outside but it's what's on the inside that counts. I like the this place because it has it all. If I want to go light for lunch I can always pick up a personal fruit or vegy tray. I was in desperate need of a little aquaphor for my new tattoos and they had it. What got to me was their beer selection. This place has a 6 pack mix n match which is pretty nice. On one of their beer end caps you will find a lot of single bottles. This is a great way to find out if your going to like a beer before committing to a whole 6 pack or more. I also like the butcher style meat section in the back of the store. Everyone in the store is nice and the store is kept really clean, well stocked and neatly orginized. read more

Favorite place to go. Good prices. 90% of the time they have what I need. I love checking out at the customer service center. The girls who work that area; Ashley and Alma are VERY friendly. They are also a lot faster at checking people out than the actual cashiers are. I especially love bringing my kids because Ashley can put a smile on there faces in a second. The boy and I decided we wanted pizza tonight and we knew with everything going on the world right now with the coronavirus that we had a very slim to none chance of picking up what he was wanting. We went to Albertson's and they were picked over as we thought they would be we did find the pizza my son was interested in however it was listed at $5.99 which seemed pretty high compared to normal we usually buy this brand from them this happens to be red Baron pizza. My eight-year-old said wow dad that's really high! Consider that an eight-year-old who doesn't really have a real concept or grasp of the value of money even thought that price was a little crazy. He and I agreed That we would go home and make food that we already had there no big deal. On the way home was the Family Dollar I offered my son the deal of a let's go see if they have anything there we want. I kid you not with them being in there in a few moments we found the exact same thing at $3.19. Shame on you Albertson's for trying to take it vantage of people during a worldwide crisis. read more

They always have fresh bakery items, cakes, pies, cookies, breakfast wonders! THEIR BIRTHDAY CAKES dominate! I have been buying my family's birthday cakes from the Albertson's BAKERY for more than 12 years! They always are delicious, and decorated as we requested AND according to our schedule. This is my favorite neighborhood store. I shop there since 2006. Lots of staff came and go and I miss some people - hopefully they found better jobs. Store is not big and probably old. This is not a kind of store to me to shop there one time a week - I go there after work when I need something. I always can find what I want. People who work there are very friendly, I know how busy they are but still they always have smile and couple nice words for customers. Products are typical grocery store products. I also buy salads often. Fruit and vegetables are fresh and clean. I love their cut fruit in plastic bowls - always fresh and price is good. Good choice of frozen foods. Very often buy medication and supplements - good prices. Sometimes I need some make up or cosmetics things - always find what I want. Always buy dog food here... Sometimes sales are good. I never had any issues or problems with products or associates in this store. Have no idea why I love this place! I just do. This morning I was needing a certain produce item that the 3 other stores I had been to did not have in stock. I was thrilled to find a grocery store (besides Wally World) that was actually open early in the morning so I called and asked for someone in produce. I was so impressed by how quickly they answered and knew exactly what I needed and that they did in fact have it in stock. Yeah! Look forward to shopping here more often. This Albertsons isn't the fanciest but it has the usual staples for what you need on a typical grocery shopping trip. Never too crowded which is nice and the lines move fast. Checkout workers are really nice. There's usually some good sales going on. read more
