We arrived at 5pm and didn't get the groceries until 5:55. I was already upset that the app placed my order there because I already knew it was a disgraceful establishment and I never pick up there! Management needs to do something about birds at this store. The droppings on the cars is horrible. I have to wash my car every time I go grocery shopping. On the average I spend about 250.00 a week. The car wash costs about 38.00 on top of my weekly grocery bill. Until this is corrected, I will try to avoid shopping at this store In addition, I had an oil change and stopped getting this oil change at walmart since I was told they use a pump to draw out the oil from the motor and do not lift and take the oil cap off. When I questioned this, I was informed that this is the procedure they use. I complained but did no good. read more

I like the service and all, but the main thing I didn't like was that when I was leaving the store there was a white lady (sorry if that sounded racist) that was checking receipts and only insisted on checking the receipts of the people of color, such as African American and Hispanics, I had only bought a lamp and I had the receipt, but she insisted on checking the receipt she snatched it from me and the proceeds to scan the lamp even though the receipt said I had purchased a lamp, and the fact that there was a security guard and didn't say anything bothered me even more so when I was leaving I she's a racist lady out loud, just in case y'all are wondering how she kinda looks like she is short, old, short white looking hair, and seemed like she can barely see. read more

My wallet was pickpocketed from my purse this Christmas Eve (2024). Customer Service and security doesn't care.Last year, I turned around walked a few feet away from the self check out and my small bag of merch was already stolen. Be VERY careful of personal theft!!! Security for Walmart on Beltline in Mesquite does not protect their customers. My husband and I have also been panhandled when I was alone in aisles. From what I understand on social media these are not isolated incidents. Walmart should do more to protect their loyal customers, particularly their older customers. I stood at the auto center department for 1 1/4 hours for a manager to do a battery exchange. When they finally arrived, they said I had $27.96 credit toward the purchase of a $139.99 battery but I would only have a few months warranty since the warranty would backdate to the original purchase. The battery had previously been replaced under warranty. So I have had two batteries fail within 12 months and now they wanted almost full price for a third battery but only receive a few months warranty. I was there for a total of almost two hours simply to buy a battery. I have shopped at this store since 1994 but will never set foot in it again. The service is the very worst I have ever experienced. They literally could care less about customer service. Never again Walmart. read more

Do not use Walmarts Automotive services! Stay far away! My Mom took her Toyota Sienna to get an oil change and they forgot to put the drain plug back in. When my Mom arrived home about a mile away all the oil was drained out and some spilled all over her driveway. Its been a year since this happened and we filed a claim and Brando Utt in the claims department hasn't resolved the issue. They are dragging their feet because my Mom is an older female Latina and they think she won't speak up. So this is why I'm writing this review and I will contact the Better Business Bureau next. Shame on you Walmart for hiring incompetent people and having them act like mechanics and Shame on you Brandon Utt for not taking care of the claim. I ordered a specific fall scent for my house, so if it wasn't available, I would have rather not been given a beach scent that I will now have to return. Husband took the car in to get an oil change. He gave him all his info (including his CELL PHONE number) and went to walk around the store while waiting on the car. An HOUR later he went to check on it and it wasn't even in the queue. They lost his information on the handheld device and didn't send someone to find him or call. All he asked for was a basic oil change so at the very least they could have done the oil change and then redone the paperwork when he came to pick up. So an hour wasted and he had no extra time to wait longer for the oil change as we had an appointment to get to at 9am. I will gouge my eyes out with a dull rusty spool before I will ever spend another penny at this store. Sign of quality: Driving up with my 94 yr-old Mama we watched the Police cuff a teenager (shoplifting we assume). We are waiting for a handicapped spot, but the cart boys have filled the last one with carts. They are inside the front entrance talking, staring at us. I finally wave them down and make them move the carts so we can park. We are there because they have 3 pound bags of yellow onions for a buck-fifty. Mama likes onions. They have them all hid under the 5 pound bags of onions and the sign removed--it was on purpose, you could tell. When we asked they said they were out. She decided to just get one onion, instead of causing a fuss. I'm more in the pro-fuss boat, but whatever. With all the new commercials about "we stock at night so there will be more folks to ring you up" you'd think they would have more than two registers open...but nope. We are 8th in line. We wait 20 minutes watching service managers stand around pointing at the line...four of them. They open ONE more register and take the people behind us. I'M WITH A FREAKING SENIOR SITTING ON HER WALKER! SHE IS 94. So I whip out my handy cell phone and call the manager and proceed to have MANAGER-ASS for dinner. I actually had the person in front of me applaud when I finished. The manager finally figured out I was in the store and asked. I'm like "Heck yes, number 13...see me waving at you." And you know what...no one ever came over to us. We waited another 5 minutes before we were rang up. I should have just taken my cans of creamed corn and started throwing them at the Customer Service Station. That would have made their day a little more surreal. And don't even get me started about the family NON-friendly music played in the store--because deep inside we all want our children singing about rubbing booties on each other. I don't expect Wal Mart to be as good as Tom Thumb...but c'mon! So, which Yelper is in charge of posting my bail if I run into this situation again?? read more

I went here last night for a water hose for a refrigerator. Oh, Wal-Mart, how I love your 24hour (always open) ways. Of course, we couldn't find it so we asked for help. A girl pointed us to a guy that could help. His name is Daniel and he Actually walked us over and located exactly what we needed, thank goodness, he was helpful and asked he there was anything else he could do, which was refreshing. There was only one check out line for the whole store and I saw a guy that obviously works there.. I saw him look at the line and dart away. Yesterday my Husband and I arrived at Walmart to place toys in lay away.. I had already called and customer service told me it stayed open until 8pm. We we're in line at 6:50 basket filled up for my Grand babies they sales associate in lawn and Garden was so rude you could tell by his face he wasn't ready to take and place the toys in boxes.. So in walks this chic and my husband asked about the layaway she looked at her watch and said it's 7:02.. I have never been "that" person to come write a review, but this Walmart's customer service is horrible!! I noticed these tanks on a table that said 2.88 and there were like 6 of those tanks that said 2.00 and I was like oh cool maybe these are $2.00. So of course I get every color and take them to checkout. They all rang up 2.88 and I told the cashier nicely that some said 2.00 (I even showed a picture. ) and she told me no and called the team lead to go check. ( I believe her name was Kristen??) And she saw it too, but said that they just haven't changed the table with her hands all crossed and with a horrible attitude. And I would never trip over 88 cents like really it's .88. But the fact that she was so damn rude about it of course I fought it at customer service. It's not like I wanted them all for 2.00 just the ones that's said it, ( and if she was nice about it I would've just paid all for 2.88) but she was extremely rude to my mother and I. And when I went back to the cashier to get all of the tanks back, she wouldn't even hand them back to me. She just pointed to the fridge where she had put them. And for that reason my family and I will never come to this Walmart again. If I could give zero stars I would because of how rude Kristen was. I ordered online a $148.88 Carex Wheelchair and they wanted to give me a transport chair which I clearly did not order. If the merchandise that I ordered is unavailable please state that. Don't ever get your oil changed at this Walmart... their excuse for bad service is that they're shorthanded all the time... big waste of time... I was sitting in my car for about 20 minuets waiting to get checked in and finally when no one came I got off to see what the problem was. Once I got my car checked in myself they let about 5 cars that were parked behind me skip me. 2 hours later and they still haven't even moved my car from the same spot, but yet they were passing the other cars that were behind me first. I give them 5 Stars because the people who work there have always been nice to me, very friendly and very helpful. They've gone out of their way to find things for me whenever I've asked where something is. I have no complaints. I love Walmart and this one is just as good as the next one. If you want the best produce, go early in the morning and they have everything so nicely organized, the whole produce department looks beautiful and neat. But of course it won't stay that way all day, but it's very good produce and they even have some organic produce. I'm very happy with this Walmart. read more

I am a senior over 60 years old I take this corna virus very serious so I choice to order online for pickup, my order was fine except for 2 pks of old lunch meat I was told over the phone to return it . So the next day I attempted to return it at the pickup section I called the number on the sign to only be transferred to a in box that was fill and could not take additional calls. So I was told by one of the loading associates that the only way I could return the item was I had to go into the store I express my concerns about going into the store. However I ended up having to go into the store against my better judgement. when I return home I called the Corporate office about my concerns with going in the store to return a pickup item due to some of the customers that are in the store shopping unprotected against this virus and with no concerns about a state emergency in effect and putting people like me at risk. So the next day when I tried to reorder a couple of the perishable items I purchased the day before under my account the system would not allow me order any perishables for pickup instead it stated I would have to purchase my perishable items inside the store only and any of my nonperishable items had to be delivered to me by mail. I feel someone tampered with my account out of retaliation for the complaint I lodge with Corporate office. And the reason I feel suspicious about this situation is because I had my sister and my daughter place the exact same order for the two perishable items I was attempting to order at the same Walmart Store within 5 minutes of my order and theirs went straight through they're web site for pickup. Once again called their Corporate Office and discussed this new issue I was told that no one can go into an account and chance anything . I have worked with computers for 35 years and if someone within the company has authorization things can be change on the system. If things can't be changed on the system how do they update and upgrade orders. So that's bullshit tell that to someone that don't know no better. I called back then she transferred me to Bakery which Brenda told me she couldn't transfer me nor give me a manager. So I called back to the same person answering the phone and she said the manager couldn't talk to me and gave me the 800 number for customer service. They just don't care about their customers! I was at this store about a week ago there are 4 Walmarts that are closer to me but I was looking for a certain pair of shoes that I have only been able to find at this store. I asked the lady that was working in the department one aisle over from the shoe department for help finding the shoes. She told me that the person that works in the shoe department was not in, and suggested that I ask the lady in lady in the jewelry department if I could use her scanner to find out if they had any of the shoes that I was looking for. She said that she did not have her scanner that day but said that I should check the customer service department. I was then sent to electronics and told to ask for Lisa, who did have the scanner. She made it pretty clear that it was not her job but did locate a pair in the brand that I was looking for.. I had to go back past the customer service department to use the restroom and the lady that was there asked if I was able to get help. I told her that I did get some help and found something that would do until I found what I needed. She asked if she could try to help me find what I was looking for online. I was reluctant because we had to go to the electronics department to use the computer but she said she would be happy to go with me and help me. While I still did not find what I was looking for, I really appreciated her helping me and showing me that not everyone was ignoring me. I asked for her name. Her name is Heather Crabtree. She was the only good experience that I had in this store on that day. She deserves a 5 star rating but unfortunately, the rest of the service was HORRIBLE! By the way, I spend between $1200.00 to $15000.00 a month at Walmart. I have done most of my shopping at Albertsons and target this week. But, once again, Heather Crabtree was FANTASTIC! read more

Someone let the air out of my tire to my car while I was in Walmart and I had to go back inside to buy some fix a flat, went to the Chevron and put some more air in the tire. I then went to the tire shop only to find out that there was not nail, not a cut, nothing in my tire.
