I've been checking in this Albertsons a lot lately and really want to spotlight the excellent service modeled by Noemi, David, Jeff, and Hong! Noemi, David, and Jeff really impressed me with how energetically energizing and helpful they are when it comes to their Customer Service Skills at the checkout station! David especially surprised me with how patient and fast he is with his Hustle while closing the store, and he still managed to serve with a great attitude and lots of fun and relatable conversation while sending us off to have a wonderful evening! Jeff and Noemi are so warm and kind as well and beam so much friendly high caring and helpful sunshine with their high tide Professional Finesse ;0) Thank you guys for helping me get cash back with my somewhat problematic magnetic stripe tip card and showing me fun tricks on how to get it to work by using the denim from my jeans or pressure from my fingers to get the stripe to slide effectively! I also want to thank the Albertson's Management for filling the store with so many adorably cute and charming Mother's Day gifts and flowers!! I was able so snag a lot of cute balloons and stuffed animals to decorate our house for an early Mother's Day Dinner tonight which made our pictures so much more lively and special. We also tried the Wilson's Creek Peach Bellini Sparkling Wine which turned out to be a big hit during dinner too and is currently on sale for about $13!!! I had a very concerning experience at this location that needs to be addressed immediately. I was shopping with my daughters (including my 8 year old) when a supervisor came down the aisle with a cart while my kids were going to grab chips. I was standing at the end of the aisle, and I clearly heard him say "f*ing move" under his breath directed at them. They heard him say it! And I also clearly heard him say it. This is unacceptable especially toward children. When I asked if there was a problem, he said "nope," then went to the register and gave me an intimidating stare. The behavior felt hostile, unprofessional, and completely inappropriate for someone in a supervisory role. I reported this to the store manager and was told it would be handled. However, when I returned to the grocery store. The same employee was still working and gossiping about us while we are shopping and checking out. Both of my girls were very uncomfortable and upset to see this man again. Which raises serious concerns about how situations like this are handled. No family should be made to feel disrespected or intimidated while simply grocery shopping. This is unacceptable behavior from any employee, but especially from someone in management. If this is how supervisors treat customers, it reflects a serious lack of accountability at this location. I expect this to be properly investigated and addressed, and I will be following up until it is. read more

We buy flowers every year for our anniversary from the florist at Albertsons, and they always do an amazing job. Somehow they manage to outdo themselves every time. This year's arrangement was hands down the best one yet. The flowers were beautiful, fresh, and put together perfectly. You can tell they really care about what they're doing and take pride in it. If you need flowers for a special occasion, I highly recommend stopping by. They consistently knock it out of the park. I love this Albertsons sooo much! I really do and this is my go to market. HOWEVER- im consistently picking up expired items. I'm always checking and twice I've picked up items that were 2+ months expired and multiple times I've picked up items that are days expired such as eggs, baked sweets and bread. This is just so unfortunate because Albertsons is pretty pricey and I believe their turn around on items to be pretty good so I'm not sure how this expired stuff keeps showing up. Workers are always super nice and the store is always clean. I just wish they'd go through their items more often. read more

I am holding Albertsons accountable for not warning their customers about possible fraud and tampering with the gift cards they are selling. There was no warning in writing or verbally of their gift cards being tampered with and making them useless after purchase. I am sure I am not the first customer to encounter this fraud nor will I be the last. I purchased two gift cards for $100 each as Christmas gifts. When the recipient went to use them, they were already used by someone else who had tampered with them and took the funds out upon activation. I called the store immediately to warm them to pull the gift cards off the shelf or at least have a sign warning of the possibility of such tampering and fraud, but they did not seem to care nor did they want to warn any other customers of this scam. So I am doing it via reviews and announcements via social media. I am $200 plus $13.90 out of pocket. Albertsons did not cause the scam but they are allowing it to happen without warning to their customers. read more

We used their bakery for a carrot cake and we were very pleased with it. The process to order is very easy online. After you place the order, you get a confirmation email. Then in 1 or 2 days the store will accept the order and then you are good to go until it's time to pick it up. Our cake was actually ready 1 day early, so that was convenient. It was a classic carrot cake. The cake itself was delicious and not too dry. I wish it had a bit more of a cream cheese flavor in the buttercream, but it was still enjoyed by all. I think for a grocery store bakery, they do a great job. The employee that helped me pick up the cake was also very polite, friendly, and helpful. read more

THEE only issue with this store is one of the Managers Marlene the walking pitbull of Albertsons. Goodness forbid you ask her any questions about sales she'll tell at you she doesn't know. She did it to my elderly mother on Christmas Day. She walks around the store angry.. makes you want to avoid her. I've witnessed courtesy clerks ask her things and she's so mean to them doesn't know them by name and talks to them like they're children. Other than that large issue. Rude customer service from the self-checkout clerk today for sure! I started scanning my items with the hand held scanner straight from my cart. Before you know it, this clerk comes over and tells me "you need to take all the items out of your cart and put them on the checkout counter." Now mind you she doest even ask if I need help or would like a bag which she was holding in her hand. Just barks the orders and then repeats it. Honestly, I felt a bit harassed and should have got her name to report it to the manager. I go through the self-check out at this location all the time without issue. But today, on a day when I have heavy items that I may not want to lift from cart to counter back to cart and then to car, well today's the day this lady wants to tell me what I can and can't do. Give me a break. It's not that serious. I almost think she was trying to profile me as if I wasn't going to scan all my items. Which is totally out of line. Needless to say, if she confronts me again (should I go back), I will be asking for her name and going straight to management. It was a great experience and I got everything I needed. The only problem that I had is that 2 of the workers were snappy and mad. I asked one of them if they had something thing and even before I finished talking she said no we don't. Then we ask if she could check and she said no go check the aisle. Bakery-Albertsons-Eastvale at Schleisman and Archibald (951) 279-0333 albertsons.com I always give commendations for employees, service and product and felt compelled to also give this review because I spent alot of money and people should know that they may not get what they expect and they will not get any empathy or effort to rectify as well. I have previously given commendations for the bakery here and the meat department but this experience was very poor and unacceptable. Ordered a very expensive wedding cake in December 2024 and it was very very dry. I was told by I believe Gina that they pride themselves on "freshness." It was rasberry with cream cheese filling and white cake. I told Gina, it may have been fresh but it was very very dry and there is a qualitative difference. I called after a few days because I was very busy with the after wedding stuff and was going to throw the cake away because a vast majority was uneaten due to it not being moist. She told me that it was not going to be fresh now, but I told her that it was never moist and always dry and we always eat our leftover cake for days and it is delicious and we even freeze it. I told her once again that on the date of the wedding it was very very dry and that this was not acceptable. I also have had experiences with their carrot cake and no longer buy it because on the 3rd attempt-it is always the same deal. I brought up an experience I had and she was grilling me as if I was making it up. She was contradicting what I was telling her was my experience where it just so happened that my kids brought carrot cake from here on my bday and a friend brought a slice from the one in Diamond Bar. The slice was ultra moist and delicious and the cake was ultra-dry. I did some research via calling the bakery in DB and here and was told that the vendors were different and that the Eastvale bakery often has issues with dry carrot cake, It was the DB location that said it was a different vendor. Well Gina was insistent that this was not true as if I was lying! That was not even the point though but her attitude was not nice. Not outright rude but when you have a disappointed customer it is your job to show understanding and at least try to help not talk to the customer like they are needing to defend themself in court. She reluctantly said she would look into the wedding cake issue upon her return from her vacation and call me back but she never did. Perhaps she forgot but that is not acceptable. She also was telling me that they did me a special favor by putting fresh flowers on the cake as if I was the problem in all of this. They are no longer allowed to put fresh flowers and their bakery made a mistake by allowing it but since it was my first time putting fresh flowers I did not know, nor was it my issue or mistake! I actually have never had this experience in which there is an accusatory tone as if I am trying to pull a fast one and that I was so well accomodated to begin with. This is not how you treat customers and I am very disappointed that after decades of buying from Albertsons bakery from multiple locations, primarily this one for the last 7 years, that the first wedding cake over approx $330 with $100 of flowers was horrible. I will never buy from this bakery again due to this experience and I hope the store manager sees this because reputation is everything. read more

Amazing thank you for being open on Christmas Day!! This store saved my butt from being yelled at because I forgot 5lbs of rib eye at my house 2 hours away. I yelped something and found this store, which not only was open but had an AMAZING meat selection. I've never been to an Albertson's to buy food, so I was surprised when I saw the amazing marbles on the rib eye and tender New York strips. THIS BAKERY AND ITS MANAGER ARE A JOKE. Wow. Obviously after reading these comments, customer service is definitely an issue at this location. My daughter ordered her bridal shower wedding cake here. A simple little white heart shaped cake. When she ordered the cake, she told them what she wanted but made one mistake with requesting that "bride to be" be written on the cake with black icing. Now mind you, when she was placing this order, there was a customer picking up an order and it's was all wrong for that lady. That should have clue not to order from here. Anyway, so my daughter, later on that day, called back and spoke with someone whom she thought was a manager and asked for them to take off the black writing and leave it plain. They confirmed that it would be left plain. Saturday comes my son goes to pick up the cake, it's not even ready. When he finally arrives home, they black writing was on the cake. Not only were they late but it was done wrong. So, I called the store to explain what happened and honestly let them know the issue. I spoke to a young lady, who basically didn't wanna listen to my issue so she put the manager of the bakery on the phone. I wanted her to know what happened with the order. She basically told me, and in her words "ma'am I'm just gonna be honestly with you, we lost her order. We couldn't find it so I had to make it real quick". Well I appreciate her honesty and the fact that she made one but also why did it get lost?? Something is wrong in this department. So, I wasn't okay with this and told her that her employees are incompetent and need some training. Customer service is important and obviously it's not for them. Do you know what this lady did? She yelled at me and had the nerve to actually HANG UP ON ME. How are you a manager? They must be desperate in the location for leadership because this lady Sure doesn't have it. Lead by example and hanging up on me is so immature and pathetic and she is basically showing her employees that this is okay and it's not. read more

Ok, so, this is the most expensive Albertsons I've ever been to. Every item is easily double the price of any other grocery store. A plus - their selection of items is unparalleled. In every category they have a whole aisle with every brand, flavor or color available. A person could live on their prepared food alone. The cakes are awesome. And they have a Starbucks in the store. I don't know if the selection and different items you can't find elsewhere justify the prices. I will try to only visit as a last resort. My 3 year old son was not happy about it because he wanted to see his best friend Gina, that works at Albertsons. I didn't get everything I needed just so we could stop by Albertsons on Shleisman to see Gina. Right when she saw him she greeted him with her usual warm smile and upbeat hello and he just lit up. Gina truly made our neighborhood grocery store a love mark. Gina is not only this friendly to my family and I, I've seen her interact with others and her warm, kind, and friendly attitude is consistent with everyone she comes across.
