I'm glad this location went back to being an Albertsons. They tried to convert it to I think an Aldi's a while back and then something else, but that was short lived. Some stores just need to be managed better and left alone. Many of us prefer going to stores such as this one where we can still interact with cashiers, butchers, courtesy clerks and produce people. Bakery at this Albertsons is by far the Best I've experience. In the past 2 months I've ordered 3 cakes for graduations and birthdays. The staff is amazing, they are so helpful patient and caring. I give them an idea of what I'm looking for and they help also with recommendations. The cakes that I've picked up are amazing and delicious, not too sweet. None had any complaints! It is upsetting to hear that JOE has had less than a pleasurable experience. This review is for the Savon pharmacy. Sign for lunch notes a thirty minute lunch yet they always take over an 1 1/2, while customers wait forever. They are slow with prescriptions if they are even able to run a simple insurance request, which they had a very difficult time running a simple blue cross authorization. They sit/stand around looking stupid while you wait I definitely. I for one am transferring elsewhere as i just can't stand their slow service & incompetence. I must admit I do the bulk of my food shopping at Winco because it is a good deal cheaper than Albertsons. That being said, I am currently the Duchess of Albertson's, so I am obviously here at least once a week. Albertsons has a much better selection of merchandise than does Winco, and it's usually cheaper than Vons, so it's my go-to store to find particular brands or to grab just a couple items when I don't want to stand in Winco's long long lines. There are a number of things that I can't find at Winco and this Albertson's carries them pretty consistently. This Albertsons USED TO have the best chicken wings of any Albertsons in town - until they instituted the serve yourself chicken wing bar and now they tend to be dried out. The deli department of this Albertsons carries my new favorite thing, Blue cheese potato salad with bacon. I could eat it by the large container full. I also buy all my sodas here when they're on sale - sale prices usually beat Winco's prices. I find the produce and meats at this Albertsons to be pretty high quality. What I LOVE about this Albertsons is the pharmacy, and the employees who work in it! They are what keep me coming back here time and time again to pick up medications for my allergies, asthma, my car accidents, and various illnesses and injuries along the way. They provide THE BEST customer service of anywhere I've ever been with my prescriptions. The employees are very friendly and always greet me cheerily. They are always willing to talk with me about my medications, and in fact on several occasions have given me more extensive information than my doctor did. Katarina (I think that's her name) even managed to catch that my doctor sent through a prescription for the wrong medication, alerted me to the problem, and called my doctor's office to get it corrected. I was supposed to be picking up eye drops for a very nasty case of pinkeye (I'm a kindergarten teacher, it was inevitable that I'd pick it up sooner of later) and the prescription that came through was for ear drops. Can you even imagine what would have happened if I'd taken them home and put them in my eyes?!? That woman was a life saver and I'll continue to be a loyal prescription customer at this Albertsons because of it. read more

I would highly advise against seeking any kind of bakery item from this location specifically. The bakery manager Andrea has been miserable on more than one occasion. She's not accommodating with personalized orders and today like many other times she informed me they're out of stock of all items involving cakes for kids (toys, decorations, etc) . Not only that but after being advised by one of her staff members to check online for the type of item I was looking for, they had it exactly and she told me it still was not doable. After getting a cartful of grocery items, I had to go looking for first aid items. After searching for awhile, I discovered them on the aisle on the wall right next to the exit door. While shopping in this aisle, two employees came and stood at the opposite end of the aisle the entire time I was there watching me. I understand the layout of the store is bad, with the pharmacy aisles next to the exit, but the experience made me very uncomfortable. I usually go to the Von's down the road, but I was in the area for banking reasons. I will continue shopping at Von's, as this Albertson's location made me feel unwanted. read more

I know these are stressful times. No reason for poor customer service. My shopping cart that had in the check out line was given to the customer ahead of me that did not have one. I was expected to carry my groceries to my car without a cart. My car was on the other far side of the lot. The clerk non the bagger said a word until I asked. I am so surprised and disappointed with Albertsons in-store deli on Coffee Road. I've been buying lunch meats from the deli counter there for years. I went to several different stores to find items that I needed. I was most comfortable buying my lunch meats from Albertson's because they've always given me good product. Today I bought 2 pounds of roast beef and 2 pounds of ham and 1 pound of turkey. When I got home I broke them up into half pound packages. When I pulled one of the packages of ham apart it had 4.2 oz. that was badly spoiled around the edges HIDDEN between the rest of the ham. (Yes, I weighed it because it was a good amount) You could tell it was hidden by the way it was sliced and packaged. The stack of ham lifted apart easily exposing the spoiled ham half way between. Although the store is nice and modern I don't shop here often because the prices are almost always higher than other stores. I used to also go for sale items but since they have gone to the just for u app that requires you to go online to be eligible for the savings I have decided that life is too short to go to that much work to save a few dollars. If you shop other stores you will find equal or better prices and you don't have to put up with that horrible app. and the extra steps that are required. For me it is the worlds biggest convenience store. I'll go for milk or some limes or other item we need quickly but there are a lot of better places to shop if you are doing your grocery shopping and you care about saving money. Winco and Foodsco are close and have much better prices. We get our produce at Sprouts which is farther away but they have good produce so it's worth a little drive. read more

I don't even know what to say about this location. Let me start off by saying the employees are horrendous. Yeah, that is harsh, but we are all adults here. I don't think I ask too much of people, you don't even have to chat me up, but don't act like I'm a huge inconvenience to your life. Last I checked, you are employed by Albertsons, taking care of customers is YOUR JOB. I had an issue with the self checkout and made a mistake on something. This store is ok, but the girls working the meat counter are fantastically rude. I go here because it's around the corner from home, and time after time, awful service at the meat counter when the girls are working. Today, after being ignored for nearly a full minute, I started to ask the girl if there was someone who could help me. She finally came over and I asked for a pound of salmon. She tossed a piece on the scale (after waving a fly off of the scale-gross) and started to print the tag while asking if the 1.4lb piece was ok. When I told her no, that it was too much, she looked annoyed and went to get a knife. Wrapped up another piece for me. I said thank you when she set it on the counter and received no response. Really? If you hate your job so much, maybe go get another one. Really disappointed and annoyed. My family and I have ordered tons of cakes from this store. This month alone 3 cakes have come from my family. I had called to order a cake for my Mom's birthday on Friday and the cake would be for Saturday. The baker told never once told me if I didn't come in and pay the cake wouldn't be ready in time. She did ask me if I could come in and pay and I told her I was out of town for work. Last year when I ordered my son's two cakes from them for $85 we paid the day we picked them up. I went in at 8am to pay for them today on Saturday and the baker told me "you were suppose to come in last night". That's when I told her I was out of town and didn't get in until really late, and that's when she told me "we were open until midnight". Then she preceded to tell me the cake wouldn't be ready until 4pm! The party is at 2 pm and the pickup time I ordered was for 1:30. Obviously I was pissed. So I called Vons right there in front of them and told them what happened here and they said they would gladly make my cake for me and I wouldn't have to pay for it until I pick it up. I told the baker to just forget my order that Vons is going to be making the cake. I will be ordering my cakes from Vons from here on out as I lost all respect for the bakery in Albertsons. read more

I don't know why this store has so many bad reviews. I live in the neighborhood across the street and go here biweekly. Every time I go my experience is pleasant. Everyone is so nice. My kids always get offered lollipops at the register. I've never had a bad experience and this location has a Caroline's cart (a cart designed for kids that are immobile and special needs). I love that this grocery store is so friendly and accommodating to parents with special needs. I do not have any kids that require that much help but I have worked with families that do and just having a cart like that to help them means so much. I will continue to shop here read more

Today my husband and I were shopping at Albertsons with my cousin and mother. While purchasing our groceries, my cousin asked for ones back. The cashier told her she didn't have any. My cousin politely asked if they could be taken from another register. The cashier responded with, "You can go get them." and left it at that. My mom then asked about getting ones back and the cashier was more than happy to help her. Then my husband (28) and I (23) went to the customer service counter to buy cigarettes. After waiting for a few minutes, a worker spotted us and came over to help. We told him what kind we would like and the worker refused to sell them to us at that counter. I have purchased cigarettes there before and could clearly see the open cash register at the counter. With no explanation, the worker told us we need to go wait in line at the checkout to buy them.
