She tested my hearing and set me up with a pair of hearing aids that she tweaked and adjusted to my specific needs. I sat on my back deck that night and listened to the rain for the first time in years. I no longer lose track of conversation and am able to once again enjoy nature sounds that I had not heard in years. I go back periodically for maintenance on my hearing aids and the Clarke School staff keeps them in top condition. If your hearing is failing, I cannot recommend Clarke School highly enough. I had physical therapy because of abdominal / lower back pain that was so bad that I had to go to…read morethe hospital via ambulance. Steve gave me three simple exercises to do. For the first time in two years, I am able to get out of a chair without using my arms, put on my own socks, and take full steps going up and down stairs. It is like a miracle. Evidently my core muscles had gradually weakened and just got worse from lack of use and then exploded into terrible muscle spasms. I am 76 and now have no signs of "old man" orthopedic problems. I made an appointment with BHC, I had a hearing test and the results were not unexpected. Shayna performed the test and it was extensive and thorough. Pretest and post test she asked a lot of questions, as I said thorough. There was no upsell or salesmanship just explanation of the different products available and how they worked in different situations. i chose what seemed to be the appropriate device and it is unbelievable what a difference they make! They use your hearing test to program the hearing aids. When I got home and out of the car, I heard birds chirping for the first time in who knows how long! I hear the directional signals in the car, I just thought they did'nt make any noise! Overall I'm totally satisfied with the product and if I could give the service a higher score I would!!!!! I brought an elderly friend from Florida, staying with us for a week, to Dr. Robertson because it appeared to me that his hearing aids just weren't helping him much. Within ten minutes, she had assessed, using digital aids (yes, she has up to date equipment), that he was hearing only 50%-70% of what he should be hearing. By the time we left an hour later, he was so much more animated, having conversations with us that he couldn't have had before we saw her, that it was amazing. I am a health care professional; this visit reminded me that some health care professionals are better than others. Dr. Robertson is excellent.

She is terrific - and her new office is in a convenient location right near the Wilton campus of Adirondack Community College. I had been one of her patients at The Hearing Shop (Wilton Medical Arts/Saratoga Hospital) and was very disappointed in the hospital when they closed that office depriving me and everyone else of Dr. Solomon's talents. My hearing aids needed service and the hospital would not/could not provide the warrantee service that I had paid for. I went to another audiology office in town - but it was just not the same. I guess I was spoiled and hadn't realized just how good Dr. Solomon is. As luck had it I encountered Dr. Solomon in town while she was doing some work with a local charity and she told me that she was in the process of setting up a new private practice.
