We ordered the catch of the day poke (marlin) bowl with the spicy aioli sauce, and the Ahi poke bowl with the traditional Shoyu based sauce. We also got rice and slaw. Both fish plates were fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The slaw was also very refreshing and complimented the richness of the poke really well. A standout, though, were the fries. They were really delicious and came in a generous portion. Nice and crispy, they were definitely the highlight of the order.

We arrived right around 2:00 PM--perfect timing to catch that sweet spot between the lunch and dinner rush. The restaurant was incredibly clean on the inside, it wasn't busy at all, and we were seated immediately. (Bonus: If you're in a rush, they have a convenient dedicated counter right by the front for takeout orders!) The Details & Sides I have to give a shout-out to the presentation. George didn't think the branded logo accessories were necessary, but personally, I love logos! They were served plain, which is probably a smart move to keep salt from falling through the holes in the basket and making a mess on the way from the kitchen, but I definitely would have preferred them salted! The Mac salad was one of the better Mac salads we had on our trip but it was still kind of average in my opinion. There were some little crunchy bits under the shrimp that was so flavorful when mixed with the rice. The chicken musubi was a big miss for me. Too much rice and not enough sauce. Great food truck!…read more Photos of the shrimp plate caught my attention so I had to stop by for that. The woman working was friendly and chatted for a bit. It's on the side of the road near some apartments so there isn't really a place to sit and eat, but it's right by the beach so you can take it to go there. The shrimp was bomb but when I got back to eat, the sauce wasn't in there, which would've made it so much better. Definitely worth stopping by.

I love their salad too! My husband goes for the Seared Ahi. The Chicken Katsu is another favorite as well as the Coconut Shrimps. They have good friendly service. Grab and go. No seating available but you have the beach across the street. Perfect for a picnic before the sunset. There are a few benches there. Or take home after watching the sunset.
