Their main selling point is the fresh fish and the different ways they're prepared. You can choose between different fish options from ahi to mahi mahi to snapper. You can also choose the cooking preparation such as charbroiled, sautéed, cajun, or blackened. Then you can choose your sides. They give you a number and you find a table to sit. We got the ahi sautéed with cajun rice ($28), the mahi mahi blackened with french fries ($27), and the clam chowder ($7). I liked the sautéed flavors with the butter and garlic. I loved the flavor of the blackened char flavor, and we loved that the fries were thin. The clam chowder was standard. One of the surprising stars of our meal was their house magic sauce. It was one of the condiments table-side and we found that it was so good with everything. We drenched it in the fish and even dipped it in the fries. I thought the flavor of the blackened mahi mahi was better, but the magic sauce went better with the sautéed ahi.

We got one of each ($22 each) and I preferred the traditional as it was saltier and had more flavor. I'm used to seeing more than just two flavors but it's fine. What I didn't like was that the rice in my bowl was hard like it had been out for a while. The other bowl was fine so I'm not sure what happened there. $46 total for two bowls seems like a higher price than normal for sushi, and the spicy one was just okay. Unfortunately, the rest of the food we ate was meh. The coconut shrimp were large and had good coconut flavor, but were overcooked and a little burnt, which altered the overall flavor. But I am guessing if it wasn't burnt, it would have great. I typically love deep fried zucchini, so I was excited to try it here. If didn't meet expectations though (sad face). The zucchini slices were cut very thin, and when deep-fried, I felt like I tasted more of the fried breading than I did the actual zucchini. My wife is a big macaroni and potato salad person, and she was not impressed. She said it had too much mayo and not enough substance.... I was pleased with the service and staff!
