If you need 4 wheel drive, I'd look elsewhere. Good luck if you need assistance after renting - response time by phone and email are very slow. I tried to dispute with my credit card (first time I've ever done that), and all they did was send a copy of their cancellation policy, which just says they keep your deposit but nothing about extra miles never driven. Very unclear. Do not rent from them as I feel these type of shady tactics are why you'd end up with extra cleaning fees, extra repairs, etc.

Avoid Alaska trailer as they can leave you absolutely stranded due to incompetence and unprofessional work, they are lucky I didn't take them to small claims court, very lucky. The job was completed and I made it to the Yukon Territory about 2 weeks later, traveling no more than 65 mph and a wheel bearing burned up. I was in the middle of nowhere, 2hrs from any community. 8 hrs and $900 later I was towed into Whitehorse YT at a shop. 3 days later and $2500 I was back on the road. I tried to get Alaska Trailer to do the right thing and reimburse for the towing, that didn't happen. They did refund for my cost of the one bearing repair but not the towing. If they were a legit, ethical business in Anchorage they would have refunded the towing and their initial fees for doing the crappy, work to begin with. Their work should not be allowed in Alaska and they do not stand behind their work. Get stranded because of them and oh well, not willing to make it right. You have been warned!

Both were last minute and had some curve balls but Mike came through each time. He is friendly, professional, a good communicator and most importantly his team did a great job. Some moving companies are unprofessional and hold you hostage with hidden fees. Mike was the opposite and his invoice was transparent and detailed. So that companies out money too because we told them to go home! My son told me that 5 stars on Yelp doesn't mean anything. Companies can pay for good reviews!! Be very careful of Yelp. I still haven't been reimbursed!!
