For many years, I have been a customer of Quality Auto Sales in Anchorage Alaska. I have bought and sold a respectable number of personal used vehicles through them. To this point I hadn't overcome laziness sufficient to write a review. It finally hit me after a recent purchase that I needed to spread the good word. Quality Auto Sales is a family run business. You are treated like family and presented with value and "real" numbers, with no high-pressure sales or gimmicks. You can shop online but, I prefer to just drive by in person. The courtesy staff will take time for you whether you are just socializing, shopping, or going to buy or consign a vehicle. The sales office is a cozy wood cabin. The modest paved lot is immaculate and always full of excellent used vehicles for the Alaska market. Getting approved for a loan and signing paperwork goes quick and smooth. I bought a Ford F-150 from these guy's two weeks ago. I can not compement these guys enough. I was truly impressed with the condition of the vehicle. I was comparing their Ford to another used one at a Dealership. Quality autos vehicle was in much better condition with lower milage and a better price. After looking the vehicle over, they let me take the vehicle for a test drive by myself which was very cool. No pressure, no sales pitch while driving, and when i returned therewas still no pressure to buy. I told them i would think about and get back to them in several days. They followed up with a call to see if i was still interested and I was. So, I went down there bought the vehicle and their added warranty and in forty minutes was driving my new truck off the lot. This was the best buying experience I have had in a long time. The vehicle I went to look at already had a sale pending. Nick had me leave my name and number in case something fell through. I'll be damned if my phone didn't ring the next day. I have a hectic work schedule and live out of town so Nick and Jenny facilitated the whole deal over the phone and via email. The next evening I am driving my new truck home and loving it. They got me a great rate for financing and exceeded my expectations. This is a small store but do not be fooled. I was comparing two vehicles before ultimately purchasing a '16 Subaru Impreza from Quality last week. It was a week-long process for me, because the vehicle I was comparing it to was at another dealership, offered by a different lender, and having applied to both dealers' lenders the monthly cost were so comparable that I had to phone my car insurance to get quotes from them, too. I purchased a 2013 Dodge Ram Sport on 7/13/17 from Quality Auto Sales and it was a pleasant event. I was able to look at the vehicle without the pressure of the sales staff coming out to meet/greet. Shot out to Alan!!! I had an idea what I was looking for and it was like he read my mind... Without any pressure he came out and had the keys to the vehicles I had my eye on.. He let me pick which I wanted first and told my friend and I we could take a 30 minute test drive and see if we liked them. When we got back I knew I found the car I wanted. Saw a vehicle I liked and later that day checked it out on their web site. Web site is excellent. Many interior and exterior pictures. All specs and accessories. Car Fax reports. My first vehicle from them. Jenny made the process easy and fast. We drove 8 hours from Fairbanks as they had the vehicle we wanted at a price we could afford. The process was easier than expected as we only stepped foot on the lot when we arrived to test drive. They helped me with getting the proper paperwork from my bank and proper documentation from my insurance. They were helpful and friendly explaining the features of the car, providing for a test drive of the two vehicles we were interested in, and showing us the car fax and other information regarding ownership and repairs on the vehicles.
