First off I'm a bit older so finding a shop who is good enough to handle my tech and me is always great. I was sold a Samsung S23 Ultra from the verizon store a few months back and since it's all glass inevitably it will break. Fast forward to a few days ago, the phone slipped out of my hands and hit the pavement and cracked the big front screen and was flashing white lines at me. I looked up where to get a phone fixed and the young lad answered and told me they could have it done same day. I got into my car and left my phone with them within 2 hours the phone was fixed and looked like new. The newer models cost a bit to fix but is well worth supporting local business. After I returned, I discovered that the battery was not a original Apple battery and that my Battery Health would not track the new battery correctly. When I spoke with the team, they explained that only Apple can replace with original batteries (Apple doesn't make them available to others and it requires a code update in the iPhone that only Apple can do). There are no Apple stores in the state, so if you live in the area.. this is definitely the best way to go. It turns out I was visiting from California and preferred to have Apple replace the battery, so I could get a original battery. The team listened and swiftly reversed the work and charge.
