Our air conditioner needed a new compressor! We were on a weeks vacation in Florid. Called on April 7th to get in for a dealer repair. Got an appt for the 11th-13th. Told them many times we were from out of town on vacation and needed car back by Wednesday, leaving Florida on Thursday. They wouldn't check my bumper to number warranty! Said didn't have time. I had my dealer call them and get it straightened out. On Wednesday I called to see if repair was done. They hadn't even started, said they needed the parts yet! I for the 4th time told them I need the car Wednesday whether it was fixed or not. They said they'd check parts and see if it was in. If not I'd have to reschedule!! Again I said I don't live here and I'm leaving the next day. A few minutes later they called an said yes the parts were there and he'd get his guys right on it! I just purchased my 5th Nissan in a row! Yup, that's right, 5 in a row through three dealerships as I moved around the country. Of course these guys sold me my 5th car. Actually I visited these guys once before as I needed some stuff for my previous Nissan. I found the parts department top notch. If you've ever purchased a new care before you know it's a bit of a game. Here is how we played here- 1. I did my research and knew the price I wanted. 2. I stopped by and spoke with a very nice saleswomen who, as expected, quoted me a much higher price which I laughed at. 3. Once again as expected she sent me to the Sales Manager who reduced the price but not enough. BTW- He was also very professional. I pushed and he pushed and I threatened to walk. I called his bluff and much to my surprise he let me walk. 4. I was not in the least worried as I was certain someone would call me. Yup, you guessed it, in just a few hours manager #3 called me and came down in price again and that got them the deal. 5. When I showed up the next day to pick up the care everyone was super and life was good! I've played this game many times and the only surprise here was they let me walk once which is a bit unusual. However, the bottom line is I obtained the price I wanted and worked with very pleasant and professional folks! read more

Seriously still a 5-star experience at Alan Jay Nissan. Just got back from a routine maintenance and John Nichols and the service department knocked it out of the park. It's been busy around there (I tried to get in earlier and they were booked out a week!), the waiting room was packed, but he still took the time to explain to every customer what was going on with their car and the work that may need to be done in the future. I missed the Alan Jay crew the few years I was away. At least 3 routine maintenance items for my car were missed because the other dealership (in another state) didn't take the time to explain what should be done at what mileage. John explained it all to me and recommended when (in a timeline that won't break the bank). Ok so we put a negative review on here about our bad experience with our truck repairs that cost us over $1300.00 and someone from Alan Jay responded on here (see their response to our previous review posted below ) asking us to contact their GM because they cared we had a bad experience and they wanted to discuss and address the issues we had , well does anyone want to guess how that went ? We called and left messages and big surprise no one has returned our call . So now it certainly feels as though they just put that comment on here to make it appear to people reading these that they care about our bad experience but in truth they didn't even respond to our call and they asked us to reach out ???? My father bought a car from Alan Jay Nissan for me. When I went to register the car in New York I come to find out they sold him a car without a title. That's when it all started. I called the sales man John Nichols who by the way I am still waiting for him to return my call. After know response from him I called Paul Katsiadas who finally returned my calls about 8 hours later and was very nasty and unhelpful. It it was not for a friend of a friend knowing Randy in the executive office I probably would still be waiting. Terrible customer service no one even tried to help. When I finally got the paperers to register the car they were filled out wrong. So to this day I am still waiting for the correct title so I can register the car in my name So I want everyone to know how they sold us a car and then totally forgot about us. Not willing to help rectify any issues until I pushed and pushed. The best part of this is the day I called asking about the tittle I was transferred to a lady named Carla who was actually nice, she says to me I am just getting to your paper work today its the first one on my pile almost a month later.
