How do you sell over a $40k car without standing behind what you sell? He also needs some help with his manners as even as a woman, I know to look others in the eye and shake their hand. That's just a matter of respect with anyone but more especially in a management position. Our salesman who was 1/3rd his age even showed us that respect. Not Mr. Hernandez. He spoke to us sternly, never smiled, and was extremely condescending. He also makes all his salesmen and employees wear masks yet he, himself, did not have one on. When you click on "detail pricing", it shows dealer fees, electronic fees, and tag fees. No problem. Got to the dealership and spoke with a salesman named Michael. Nice guy. He stated that the vehicle price was actually $55,000 and that the vehicle was a demo and couldn't be sold for six months. I let him know what the website shows, and he invited us in to check what it shows online and check with the manager. His computer shows what we showed. We asked to speak with the manager, and in comes Santiago Hernandez. No smile, nothing... I introduced myself and girlfriend. Not a word back from Santiago. He said that the website price is incorrect and he can't even sell the vehicle if he wanted to. I asked why the vehicle was listed at $38,970. He wouldn't answer, and deflected that he can't even sell it. I asked him again and he stated that it was an error and was priced incorrectly. I stated that there are laws that protect the consumer from listing a vehicle at one price, only to be selling it for a different price. I then proceeded to ask that even if the price was correct, why do they have the vehicle listed on the website for sale if they can't even sell it. He stated that he can put whatever he wants on the website. I stated that he stated earlier that corporate runs the website, but now he can make changes to the website so which was it? He responded that he puts whatever he wants on the website. I said thank you for your time and walked out. On the way out "Manager" Santiago yelled across the room, "Why don't you buy a Bronco in Sarasota?" I ignored him and kept walking.

I was finally able to put car into Drive and continued north (no speedometer, AC, blinkers, and unable to open windows). Alan Jay Ford of Wauchula was a few miles away. I arrived in panic & tears. Service Manager, Teresa Simmons, listened patiently to my situation and my urgency to reach my son's school. She said they would take care of the problem as fast as possible. Within minutes, the Alan Jay team had my Corsair inside. They checked it thoroughly but couldn't find any reason for the electrical shutdown, but they were able to reset it, so the car ran fine. This was all within 40 minutes, and the did not even charge me! I cannot express how pleased I was with their quick service and dedication to outstanding customer interaction. Explained to him that i was driving from Miami and would appreciate an honest review of the car, wanting to know what problems the car had so I wouldn't be wasting their time as well as mine. He sent me a video, some pictures and stated that the car was in great shape. My wife and I were in the car the next day driving the 140 plus miles to their dealership. When we got there, we were greeted and told that the vehicle was being detailed. After about a 10 minute wait they brought the car around and it looked great from a distance. Upon closer inspection I immediately noticed the trunk lid, and rear bumper appeared to be freshly painted. The vehicles external flaws were told to me on the phone, so I knew what I was walking into. When I discussed on the phone the condition of the AC, he said it was working great. Upon inspection, it appeared that there was some type of foam sealant used on the ac accumulator. When asked about it the sales rep told us he knew nothing of that. While it blew cold, it was apparent that there was an issue at some time, but no one knew anything about it. I checked under the car and it also appeared since it was a North Carolina car, there was rust under the car which may have been why the rear deck lid and bumper were painted. I asked him why were they painted and I got what has to be the most ridiculous answer ever from a car salesman and I quote "We had them painted because the guys in the body shop had nothing to do so we gave them something to do" If that was the fucking case they should have done the whole car! Right then and there, we lost trust in both him and the dealership. We opened the trunk to find it extremely wet on both the carpet and deck lid. They took it back to the body shop and told us that they would let us know what the problem was. We left to go get something to eat and waited for their call. An hour and a half later I get a text that it was the studs holding the tail lights in and that it was fixed. Like I said earlier we lost trust with them, so we both decided to pass on the vehicle due to that loss of trust, NO MATTER HOW MUCH WE LIKED THE CAR! We both were quite pissed at the fact that we drove all that way fully expecting to leave with it, only to be mislead on what was actually wrong with the car. I called the dealership later to speak with the manager and left a message for Tim Masse the manager. I was told he would return my call, never did. Left another message yesterday, same result no call back. Left another this morning, still crickets. I'm sure that this dealership provides a great service to the local community that wants new cars? Used cars, another story. Would I do business with them? Not at this point. A simple inspection of the vehicle by one of their mechanics, listing what I found in a 15 minute inspection would have saved us a shit ton of time that I could have spent looking for an honest and reliable used car. I still cannot get over this statement; "We had them painted because the guys in the body shop had nothing to do so we gave them something to do" Think about that before you venture out to see what they have to offer. The mechanic's name was Andrew and he took the time to secure by mirror so I was able to drive my vehicle till parts could be ordered. There are two problems with this: the work isn't done, and according to the warranty company, they paid them in full five days earlier. Every time Advisor opened his mouth, it has been a lie. My car still isn't fixed, the warranty company thinks the work was done (or thought so until I reported this) and Advisor is playing now. - 10 Star Steller service! -…read more Sooo, I'm in my MickyD's parking lot sipping on my 99-cent breakfast Iced Coffee and my car battery died! As this is a PG rated review, "Oh crap!" I needed a new battery. Customer Service- I called these fine folks, and a very nice employee told me that the owner Matt would be there to help me within 15 minutes! That's right, the owner of a business that's been in operation since 1958 was coming to help! He showed up in less than 15 minutes, jumped my car within seconds, and explained where and how to park my car at his place. Very efficient staff checked me in and took my keys. Ambience- I plunked myself down in a comfortable chair and noticed the very nice couch and flat-screen tv. Within minutes Matt came out and quoted a fair price and said it would be done quickly. Rest Rooms- At one point I headed for the restrooms and laughed out loud and the sign on each door! See my picture. Now I know why the men's room was eat-off-the-floor spotless! I didn't check the lady's room as I didn't want to deal with the screaming that would ensue! Wait Time- In less than 45 minutes my name was called, and I was out the door. That is nothing less than spectacular! My tire pressure light had lit up recently and I noticed that they took care of it without asking. Nice! Conclusion- What I experienced was a Master Class in customer service and professionalism. Ten (10) Stars is not enough!

Walked in with one gentleman at the counter and 3 people behind the counter. Stood there for a couple minutes and the lady asked if I had an appointment, I said no I was hoping to make one and she turned away and went to her computer. I was taken back. Customer sneezed and everyone said bless you and I said "sorry, I don't have the credentials." (Got a laugh from everyone) Stood there another 5 minutes after the only other customer went to sit down. Then I went and sat down. More people came in and I started openly asking who their best competitor is as I've been here for 15 minutes and haven't been helped. Scared me that no one had any recommendations. Then lo and behold I was pointed at and called on. Felt like the price is right and ran to the counter. Asked them who their competitors were as I'm not sure I have confidence that this is the right place for me. They all looked and the lady looked at me and said I didn't know you needed to make an appointment and I said yeah. When you asked I said "no I don't have one but would like to make one" and you walked away. Great costumer service. She was apologetic. But the first impression and confirmation from what my buddy experienced was done. I chose a tire and set up an appointment for an alignment and rotate of tires. But I'm scared if their workmanship is twice as good as their front office staff I would be lucky to have 30% of the lug nuts even on the vehicle when I pick it up. What would you do? I really want to use a local small business. But wow, just wow. I expect this kind of treatment from Firestone or discount tire. Not a locally owned business. And people wonder why local businesses fail.
