I am still in the healing phase of the procedure, but my experience proved nothing to be concerned about. The ladies in both the office and those who assisted Dr. Lloyd were approachable, knowledgeable, and helpful. They took the time to review anything I had questions about in person and via the phone. I was forewarned that getting the insurance estimate would take some time. I watched the process online and know it was my insurance company that took so long. The text communications about appointments and the videos on what to expect were very useful. They prepped me well for the day of the procedure. I showed up relaxed (special thanks to the Valium) and before I knew it, I was in recovery. So far, everything is going smoothly, and I am healing well. No one wants a tooth removed, but this team seems to have the process dialed in. Thanks for doing everything you did to help take my anxiety away!

He said that Dr. Salehpour seemed to be able to accomplish things that other oral surgeons couldn't. He was right. I not only have implants but he was flexible with what drugs and things to use as I have lots of sensitivities. Everything went smoothly and no real pain, just some mild discomfort first day. After years of trauma with another dentist in Salinas -- full extractions in 2017, implants not finished until 2022, and teeth placed so wrong my whole face changed shape -- I thought I was just aging badly. Dr. Herrera was the one who identified that it was actually the previous implant placement causing it. That alone was such a relief. When an implant with three teeth fell out this past August, I panicked. I'd planned to go to UCSF to save money, but they wanted to do zygomatic implants over a full year, with 2-3 months of no teeth and constant drives to San Francisco. After a consultation, Dr. Herrera's office called and offered to do the full surgery for $8,000 less than UCSF quoted. I couldn't believe it. I would add a picture but it's just not doing it justice! He did my surgery on September 9, and I walked out with temporary teeth instead of going months without any. I'm 67 and swell/bruise easily, so I waited a few extra days before getting them put in -- but that's just my body, not his work. I cried tears of joy. Huge thanks to his incredible staff -- Heidi, Rosa, Mayra, Melissa, Alejandro and a female anesthesiologist who was fabulous.Everyone was compassionate, empathetic, and gentle.
