We rented a car from the Springfield-Branson, Mo airport location. The car we rented seemed to have an issue, so we turned around and came back to the airport. This time we worked with JOHN who was absolutely awesome (5 stars for him)--responsive, helpful, took good care of us, quick to see the problem and returned the car, found us another car, went above and beyond to make sure we would be safe and that we were satisfied. He saved our trip. Highest praise and highly recommend. read more

Unprofessional and rude, the manager behind the counter acted like he was on drugs with his erratic behavioral unwillingness to work with me. My booking was already paid for and he refused to give me a card because it wasn't one of the major ones even after calling their corporate office and them approving it he said and I quote "idont care who you call I'm not renting g you a car at all." read more

Bad experience! Bad Service! Reserve somewhere else. I reserved a luxury car, Chrysler 300 (or similar) vehicle for myself and 2 other passengers. Upon arrival at Springfield MO airport (SGF), I checked in, got my car and walked to parking lot to pick up the car. It was a 2 seater! I walked back and talked to the staff. I said I reserved a Chrysler 300 (or similar) car, she stated that is what I received. I said there is a big difference between a 2 seater and a regular 5 seater sedan, especially when you tried to book a Chrysler 300. Her reply: "we can go round and round all day, that's what you reserved, that's what you got" I was told, at midnight, she can issue me a refund or take the car!! If you can, go next door and avoid Alamo and National (same office runs both). Go next door, better service! End of story: They rebooked me with a MID SIZE sedan at the SAME price!! Sorry, but I do not call that customer service! Terrible. Spoiled my whole weekend. read more

The car was nice. A shiny Chevy Malibu that was clean and maintained. The price was comparable to the other rental companies at the airport. The reason they didn't get five stars here was because it was difficult finding their rental counter in the airport. Whereas Dollar and Hertz and the other companies had big signs and were easy to spot the Alamo sign was minuscule by comparison, and set back to one side of the counter. I could have gotten over that, it's not a big deal I guess. What I can't forgive was the totally disinterested girl working the counter who appeared thoroughly irritated that I had the gall to show up to her counter to ask for my rental, when she clearly had more important text messages to pay attention to on her phone. The attitude rolling off her made me wonder if my daughter had a twin sister I was unaware of in Springfield. read more

Jordan is a superstar. Just so kind and welcoming from the get go. He was helpful, funny, and made the whole process painless. He gets all the stars! read more

I had a paid for reservation but between making the reservation and picking up the car my credit card was hacked and we ended up canceling card and getting new ones. Problem was my credit card didn't make it back to me before I had to catch my plane. The desk at the Alamo in Springfield-Branson airport would not accept my mothers credit card for the deposit they required even though she was there in person with ID. It left me stranded. Alex at the desk was friendly and concerned but Mike the manager was brash and tactless. I called main line for help but they did not help either but were at least sympathetic and polite but I got no help. read more

I rented a car put my daughter on a plane to make sure she gets back to school. When she lands in Springfield she gets a text. We are sorry we have no cars. There are a bunch of excuses but no help in solving the problem. Guessing they have cars if you are local but a one way is not what they want even though we had a legit reservation. This is total crap. It's was nice they tasted but like 2 hrs late. Either fix the problem or find my daughter a car. Total BS customer service read more

Unbelievable- I reserved a compact car and expecting my usual Toyota Yaris I drove away in an Infiniti QX60 SUV! They did not have what I reserved so they upgraded me like five levels- and - like icing on the cake- I got an apology for my inconvenience! Happy Valentine's Day to me! High end luxury car at $30 a day! I almost did not check into my hotel room- thought about sleeping in the car. Fast efficient and professional clerk- no hard sell for needless insurance or prepaid gas- when renting a car from the Branson airport- give Alamo rental car a look! read more

This is my second time renting with Alamo. I wanted to leave another positive review because my experience with them has never been negative. My girlfriend that I was visiting in Springfield didn't have her car out the shop till Thursday. I wanted to pay with a debt card and I had my return flight with me to show them so I can pay. The lady at the front desk said she might not be able to do it because my return flight was on the 3rd of January. And I wanted to return it the 30th on Thursday, she told me she would ask her manager. The manager was in her office and seemed busy on a call but still helped me out and let me pay with a debt card. I love the staff there they are always friendly and caring about the customers. Every time I come here to visit I will not be picking another rental company. I will always use Alamo because of the tremendous customer service they have. Can't wait to rent with you guys again for my next trip! read more

Rented a car in Springfield MO. Car had slow leak in tire. Called road side assistance and was told to go to Brandon Airport at 6 pm to exchange car at Alamo site. Turns out that Alamo only opens when a flight is coming in and the next one is 6pm tomorrow. Called back to road side and was told now 55.00 charge. Explained they sent me 30 minutes from where I was staying for nothing and I did not believe the charge was applicable. I called Alamo and went through three people the last was Stephanie in the esculation department. After explaining everything to each of these "customer service" people they connected me with road side again to get their 55.00. I have been loyal to Alamo and Enterprise for years. They lost a customer and hopefully withers will heed this warning. read more

Quick and excellent service from Ryan Tharp! Highly recommend and will rent again from them !

Shout out to Ryan T. at Alamo/National rental car at the Springfield MO airport!! Arrived with my rental after a flight change, he was so helpful and kind. So nice to find kind, caring people who have amazing customer service skills. Thank you Ryan, you have a bright future ahead. read more

I made a reservation online, told the guy my name and got the car keys. All I needed was my drivers license and credit card I made the reservation with. Ya that's what you always do when you rent a car, but this took like 1 min max, it was great. Fast and easy with friendly non-pushy service. The Alamo was a bit hard to find because the sign was so small compared to the huge "National" sign. Just look for the National sign and the person there will help you with your Alamo rental. Definitely grab your car rental before you wait for your bags at the baggage claim. read more

Alamo rental was amazing when I was in Branson, Mo. and got a flat tire just before heading to Springfield airport. They were able to get someone there very fast, get the tire changed and I was able to make to the airport on time. Just wish my plane would have been on time. Everyone I spoke with was very courteous, helpful, and went out of there way to make sure I was taken care of! If there would of been 10 stars, that's what I would have given your customer service at Springfield Airport! read more

One of the few car rental companies that offered one way rentals from MO to NC. Car was fine, Ford Fusion. Easy pick-up and drop-off. No complaints. read more

Steven at the Springfield Branson Regional Airport was by far the most professional, knowledgeable, friendly agent I have ever come in contact with. When the car we reserved for our vacation was unavailable, he went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. I highly recommend this location for your rental needs and if he is your agent then that's just a double bonus!! Thanks you!! :) read more

I had reserved a basic little "compact" car to use while in the area, and when it came time for pickup, I was feeling a little more adventurous. I jokingly asked the counterman if he had something hot, like a mustang convertible. Well, he quickly responded with, "how about a 2016 Mustang with 500 miles on it? Woohoo! Now that's what I'm talking about! The price was right and the car was fabulous, a bright yellow 2016 Mustang "head-turner". We were styling for the whole week and loved the car and especially the great treatment by the Alamo rep at the airport. I highly recommend these guys for an easy transaction, great price and a vehicle selection that may surprise you, certainly did for us. read more
