Our house is off a dirt road, so the car is never brought back super clean. It will have normal dirt on the floor boards, but nothing insane. This has never been an issue. Today I returned a rental car I got Saturday. I had got a little Chevy spark for the "mystery vehicle". The car was in poor condition on the outside & inside wasn't clean when we picked it up. I ignored this given we're going off a dirt road. I get an updated agreement and they charged me $75 for cleaning on top of the $400 for the 5 day car rental of a piece of junk car! Don't rent from these shady people, they need to wash the car when it's returned anyway. The car was returned to without any trash left in it, or any new damage. I will be disputing the charge.

Rapid and efficient, they got me on the road quickly knowing I had a long drive ahead of me in order to get to my hotel! The car had a full tank and was very clean, staff told me right where to find it, and in this cold that was one of the most helpful things! If I'm ever in need of a car in my future travels I will have Avis in my mind for who to travel with!

We also pay $100 for 1/2 tank of gas - so total was $450. Gas was our fault - we didnt see gas station within 10 miles of airport and we were running late but this charge seemed excessive. Royal rip off but we were in a hurry to catch flight and paid it!! Never again with Thrifty.
