When this branch opened in Wharton, I thought they would never be able to compete with the much larger store in Richmond/Rosenberg. Boy, was I glad to be wrong! Since the store has opened, I think I may have *not* been there every weekend, but it sure seems that way! We know the staff who usually work on the times we are there, and it brings the whole reason we moved to a small town back. I know these people. They know me. It's a wonderful thing. While I'm sure the sheer square footage of the store is less than it's larger version, I have always been able to find what I need and in the quantities that I need it. They keep the basics in stock year-round, and many of the specialty items, as well. Whether I'm buying poultry supplies or something for the pets, they will have what I need and the quantities I have come to expect. Great store, great people, and a great layout. What else can I say? I'm a huge fan!

Miscommunication and inept statements led to a huge delivery debacle, e.g., not certified to install a "gas" stove, not able to install wall A/C units, scheduled delivery time was set for after lunch, arrival time at 5:00 p.m., and lastly, not able to deliver appliances to a 2nd story home. TOTAL waste of time! Spoke with one of the Owner's a few days later, he offered to install the wall A/C units himself and pay me for lost wages. He also stated that he would reiterate store policies to his employees. Too little, too late---Done!
