    Wicked special mixed drink

The Alamo draft house was wonderful. The waitress that served our food and drinks was pleasant and efficient. The food was very good. The drinks were marvelous. And the movie that we saw wicked was the best! We enjoyed the venue and we enjoyed the food and the drinks. It was a wonderful experience and we can't wait to go back.

Great new location! My friend and I came her3 for the Phantom of the Opera movie party - our first time experiencing the fun of a movie party evening! We each got our own popcorn and drinks and loved the experience, but agreed the seats were on the small/narrow side and meant we were really close to the strangers reclined in seats adjacent to us. The new space is beautiful, service is very good, and the parking lot out front is plentiful. We got tickets ahead of time and just had our QR codes scanned upon arrival. Everything was super convenient. Next time I want to come in and try out dinner menu items here!

The menu says they use pressed lime for the Clooney margarita. In actuality, they use concentrated lime juice. Some people can taste the difference!

By far my favorite cinema. I love the comfortable seating. If you are early there's a bar/dining are to chill. Food is decent, honestly what more can you want when you can order food and drinks to be brought to you while watching the newest release? Service has also always been great!

Favorite cinema in El Paso. The food is always so delicious. I always get a pizza at a minimum. Pricing isn't too bad either. The staff is generally quick to come when you put on the light to make an order. Drinks are usually a bit slower to receive but don't ruin the experience. Always quiet and the reclining chairs make it super comfortable.

Always have loved this chain of movie theaters. I like how they have such cool, themed art adorning the halls as you walk to your theater. The entrance and lobby are perfectly lit, neatly decorated, and welcoming. There's a bar where you can lounge and hang with friends. The staff is always helpful and friendly. They always have the hottest NEW movies, and really cool old school throwback movies as well. I never miss a chance to see whatever the new Marvel film is, and when I go see it, I go to Alamo. The seating is so comfortable, especially the electronic recliners. The menu is decent. Now then, it ain't special occasion food, but a decent menu nonetheless. Great snacks and entrees, full bar menu available right there on your seat. You can discreetly order food and drink all through the movie without ever leaving your seat. That's a huge selling point for me. Sound equipment and picture quality is all state of the art. Even a nice app you can use to buy tickets, pre order stuff, and earn points towards rewards. I'm a fan of Alamo. Probably always will be. If nothing more than for Marvel films, I'll be back, each and every tk

The service here is stellar! From the front desk to the movie/ food service experience... the employees are all absolutely wonderful. Don't be afraid of row one, it's is actually the best seat in the house. It seems like whoever decided on the distance between the screen and row one actually used common sense and knows how people like to see a movie screen. The food... I wasn't a huge fan of the pizza, But the chicken tenders are ridiculously massive and delicious. The ciders were out of this world , especially the pineapple. I am here for the second time just for the Mexican vanilla shake and loaded fries. When you have these fries, no other loaded fries will compare. Be prepared to be disappointed when you get loaded fries or any shake anywhere outside of this place. It will never be the same.

Great place for a movie, you can order a meal and drinks without stepping out of the theater.

I prefer this Alamo Drafthouse over the one on the westside. The service and food was much better at this location. I recently brought my son and grandmother to watch "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings." It was the second time I watched it but I didn't mind. Besides...you always catch something new in a movie if you watch it a second time! It's a good movie btw! If you're into action/super hero type movies, I recommend it. Anyway... This theater has a unique and colorful look to it. It has a lucha libre (Mexican wrestling) theme throughout. You'll see lots of movie posters from old Mexican movies, lucha libre masks, etc. My grandma said she remembered watching some of the movies back in the 40s or 50s. It's a little over the top but I think it's interesting and fun. We saw the movie in the big show theater. It was a great experience! There was reclining leather seats. There's also a button to call a waitress if you'd like to order something to eat. They bring it to your seat. We had Jocelyn for a waitress. She was great! She came and checked on us to see how we were doing at least twice. The restrooms were super clean. My son and I really liked the comic book wallpaper in the men's and women's restrooms. Before the movie finished, I placed an order to go for my bf. Jocelyn had the order ready for me before the movie ended. He said the food tasted really good. He ordered a pepperoni pizza and pretzel. I had the cauliflower wings with fries. It was all tasty! It tasted fresh and made to order. I shared some popcorn and a pretzel with my son. This also tasted great. I drank ice water with a lemon wedge. My son got a cookie shake and enjoyed it. I had one sip and it was really good...not too sweet. I would definitely come back to this Alamo Drafthouse. We enjoyed the entire experience of it. It's a bit of a drive from the westside but I'm often in the eastside anyway. Oh and they offer movie parties for $150. You'd have one movie theater room for you and your guests. I'd consider having my son's birthday party here. They also offer UFC fights and most likely boxing matches here. I'm not a fan of UFC but I'd consider watching a big boxing match here, depending on the time. I usually catch them on a Mexican channel for free, though.

Loaded Fries, tasty but overpriced at $11.50.

Wonderful and clean theater with amazing customer service. There is a full bar and seats to sit down in when you first come in. First Visit: Wings-Delicious, but were a bit cold but didn't mind. Came with celery sticks and ranch included. Loaded fries: Loved these!! But for $11.50? Very overpriced. Drinks: Ordered a Sezarac. The glass is rinsed with absinthe, which was illegal in the U.S a few years ago. The bartender told me it was the first time anyone ever ordered it! Even with the bitters, it taste like rubbing alcohol, don't recommend that one. But at least I can cross ansinthe off my bucket list. Mambo Margarita- It came frozen and really good on a nice hot day. Second Visit: Chicken tenders-probably one of the best chicken tenders I have ever had! The dipping sauce it came with was very tasty! Bloody Mary: It looked so pretty but unfortunately one of the worst blood Mary I have had. Tasted like vinegar and tomato juice. Dark & Stormy: Gosling Rum with ginger beer. I got this because I thought this was Ryan Gosling's brand of rum. Is it? I don't know, but if you don't like the flavor of ginger beer and dark rum, you may want to pass on this. Awesome place, took a star off for the drinks. They need to bring a mixologist in and improve on their cocktail selection and ingredients. It is a draft house so next time I will stick to just beer.

    Very comfortable seats

I'll start from the bad to the good. Food: 2/5 stars - I must say, this was the most disappointing part of the night. The food was mediocre at best and the best part of the food was the wine that we bought. Sound engineering: 2/5 - Also a big disappointment, I believe each member of the cast was mic'ed up and the sound mixer/engineer should know the lines by this point in the production. Sadly, this was not the case as several lines were inaudible, music was poorly balanced, and the overall sound was pretty bad. Light Engineering: 4/5 - Nothing big here, no huge gaffes or mistakes. Cast/acting: 4/5 - I had never actually seen the original (or remake) of the Hollywood version of "Footloose" before this performance so I came in with basically no expectations. The cast was full of energy and were obviously talented. Whoever casted the preacher was on point. No huge gaffes or mistakes and the pace of the scenes were executed pretty well. The comedy timing was pretty good as well. I do have to break this down further though. Singing: 3/5 - While he did try his best, the main actor who played Ren was not a very good singer. He shined most when he had dancing parts, which is understandable to cast a male lead in "Footloose" based on their dancing. Every other part did fairly well in giving their vocal performances but since the male lead is so pivotal to the performance, I have to dock some points here. Dancing: 5/5 - This is where most of the performers, and overall performance shined. Every person knew where to be at the right time and the overall visual aesthetic was very well executed. As I mentioned before, the male lead who played Ren was a really awesome dancer and he shined in his solo moments. Overal: 3/5 - A mixed bag from really bad to really good. I did enjoy the overall show though but I was expecting a bit more, especially since the cost was a bit pricey.

One day. It's no Alamo Drafthouse, but the seats are comfy and they all have those slidy desks that are way to tiny for note taking, but ideal for holding popcorn and drinks. Based off of the projector that they use during the classes, it's pretty big so if you went for movie reasons I think any seat would be fine (but towards the front would be ideal). The Cinema doesn't offer food per se, but you're super close to a lot of food options (Pizza Hut, the cafeteria, Chick-fil-A, etc. etc.) and as far as I know you can take food and drinks in there. If you're wondering about parking, pay the couple of bucks and park at the parking garage. Every time I've gone for an event that's specifically in the Cinema, they usually offer free parking in the garage anyway (I don't think they do that for the movies though).

It's such an unique experience to have a meal and watch live theater in one night. It really brings a nostalgia kinda feel and you can really experience what life was like before film. I'll admit the food is not the very best you can get but it's also not the worse. You usually get a 3 course meal, complete with dessert and coffee. I've been to the dinner theater for a couple of shows and the food has been good, usually a classic chicken and potatoes kinda meal. The dessert those past time was an exquisite chocolate cake. All food is served on UTEP embossed china, which is a nice little. detail touch. Then there is the seating in which you can really meet some interesting people! All tables seat 4 so if you're a group of 2, you'll be sitting with 2 others you may not know. This may make some hesitant but it's actually a nice little treat to the night. I've never gone and not have great conversations with fellow dinner guests. The theater cast is always great and well deserving of a house, standing ovation! Lés Miserablés was the latest show I saw and the entire production was superb. I actually sat in one of the front tables (a first) and it totally changed the experience with me really feeling like I was actually in the show!! haha I can't wait till I have time between semesters to return!
