So imagine getting ready for a Jiu Jitsu tournament and me and my friend are simply running to get our conditioning up we were stopped by 10 plus police cars because we look like we are running from something since the area had a lot of car break ins lol mind u all we had was a shirt and shorts on with absolutely nothing in our pockets, we were then held saying we were "detained" and were held against our will for over 30 minutes mind u while we were only Getting a jog in my neighborhood that I live in lol the sheriffs were rude as hell treating us as if we were criminals and making unnecessary comments to try and provoke us such as "we can try and run but we will be arrested if we do so" when all we did was ask how much longer will the stop take since obviously we were just exercising....legit only one officer apologized for his co workers rude behavior and having us stopped for almost an hour. What I got out of the interaction was do not jog in your own neighborhood...because this interaction I only run at the gym now thanks sheriffs! read more

Alameda county sheriff is too busy to take a report that someone threatened my life. They called and asked about my son who had nothing to do with my report. Only to tell me they are still too busy. I was told I have to call them tomorrow. This is following 2 years after they detained me for 4 days with $50,000 bail. read more

today i was pulled over by the kindest sheriffs', officer buernell and officer chavez, for a missing license plate on my car. after handing the proper paperwork to them ensuring the car was legitimately purchased they were kind and let me know some ways to deal with the high costs of registration when buying at auction. both officers were very professional, yet, kind and! friendly! read more

There was an an incident that occurred late last night, and the Sheriff's department responded immediately and contained the scene right away. OMG....imagine waking up at 2:30am urgency to pee, wiping your eyes...what do you see, a possum looking at me!!! Oh SHTY, what do I do, YELL!!! Hubby wakes up puzzled. He's scared but ready to trap it. Not I, Hell naw, I'm calling the police. He says no call animal control, like I know their number. Fast forward ....Alameda County Sheriffs Officers at my door I hear the officer say to my hubby, "between the 3 of us we can get him out." He replies, "she might be out of it." Officers says, "well between us, we can". Yep, and they did - they were able to trap and remove the baby possum within 10mins. By me being in a safe location (hiding in the bathroom, in the sink with the door slightly closed) I was unable to really see and speak to the officer. Hey guys, i just wanna thank you for not impounding my car today while you were arresting my little brother and his thug friend.Apparently in my brother's world it's alright to have a zip of stinky,sticky greenery on you while you borrow my car to go to the store.See, when your brother provides every one in the hood with weed and they see that he's getting arrested in my car,i happen to get my phone blown up with the big news.I then drive down there kiss some major ass of said sheriff to not tow my ride, my brother is toast , he's goin away for awhile, his third offense, so i didn't even try to plead his case.Anyway, just to wrap it up, you coulda impounded my car and then put a 30 day hold on it, but you didn't.For that i thank you, you showed compassion when you didn't really have to. read more

I was in line at the Burger King Drive Thru ,When one of the Deputies came pulling into the lot and Spotlighted a lone parked car with 3 people in it with Bk Garbage all around the car. Obviously the occupants had been thru the Drive Thru and parked in the lot and ate and threw the garbage out the window onto the ground. The Lone Deputy jumped out of his Tahoe and yelled "Pick That F**cking S**t Up Now. The 3 Losers in the Car started mouthing off ,the Deputy repeated the command again . The Losers exited their vehicle and picked up the garbage off the ground and threw it in a garbage can adjacent to their vehicle. Then the Deputy proceeded to chew there litterbug asses out and left . I loved every minute of this and wanted to get out of my Vehicle and give him a standing ovation. When I got to the Drive Thru ,I mention the incident to the clerk he just laughed . I guessed he called the Cops. read more

Ever since I gave my landlord my 30-day notice, he started acting unreasonable. I requested a civil standby today due to the fear of my landlord's illegal actions and threats. Most of my belongings were still inside the room but I didn't have access to the house anymore because he changed the passcode without notifying me (ILLEGAL) so I had no access inside the unless he was present. From that point on, all I wanted was to get my things and get the hell outta there because my landlord threatened to hold my possessions if I didn't pay him additional $, just because he thought he could get his way. DOUCHE. So I told the sheriff over the phone that I'll call back and reconfirm if a civil standby is necessary or not. I just didn't want to waste their time in case my landlord does let me inside the house without some sort of negotiation. So before my arrival, I had given my landlord a heads up that I was coming to the house. I was expecting my landlord to make a big scene cause he's dramatic like that but thank goodness he had the door unlocked cause that definitely saved me from troubling the police department. I guess he figured I was only gonna be in and out cause typically, I'd come alone and could only grab a few items at a time and leave. This time, I had some friends with me. 10 minutes pass by, I see a sheriff appear at the front door, which definitely surprised me cause I wasn't expecting him to come cause I hadn't called back. I'm glad he did because from the look on my landlords face, he seemed startled. GOOD! After that, my friends and I were able to move all of my stuff without a problem! Anyway, point is. Thank you to the sheriff that came by the house to follow-up. The situation was probably minor to you but I really appreciated it! It felt like a gigantic load of stress has been off my chest and I can finally sleep worry-free again.
