Lastnight I forgot a few items in the dryer, and went this morning and the lady wants to insist on the time that I left the items, I just wanted a yes or no answer if the items I mentioned were left behind. she had such a guilt look on her face and all of sudden didn't underst English. I'm not sure what the lady's issue is that works here at night. It was 2 hours before closing and she told me I couldn't use the dryers on 1 side and had to use the other side that had several people already using. And when I was sitting on the bench waiting, comes over and tells me to move so she can sweep under my feet. However, she's is loud and boisterously friendly speaking in Spanish with a Hispanic man doing his laundry. Normally the workers here are nice and friendly but this lady tonight needs a course in being cordial and polite. read more

Great laundry mat. Has everything you need. Went for my first time today to wash my Queen mattress pad and they had a large washer just perfect for it! I love knowing my mattress pad is getting a good solid wash with all the space it had to be tossed around in. I will be coming here again when I need a laundry mat. read more

I'm still confused on who actually works here. I come sometimes and there is this sweet Syrian lady who's constantly cleaning, wiping everything down, and taking the carts back. She walks around and makes sure everyone is doing okay and says, "Hello!" or "Good morning!" as she proceeds. Then other times I come and see that she's not here, and that instead of her there is a young female. Maybe they switch shifts; but before, it was only one worker. The problem I have now is that it's kinda weird to even come in here when the Syrian lady isn't here. I guess I'll start with what happened today.. so, I came in at 8:40ish am and parked. I went to load my clothes into the washer and saw this young girl approach me. She quietly came and loaded the washer next to me... there's like 20 washers of the same size and she came right next to me. Ok, I guess. I look up and smile at her but she just looks back at me. I go back to loading my clothes and literally look up to see she's still staring at me. Why?! I smile again and nothing. So 20 minutes have passed. I'm sitting and waiting for my wash cycle to end and the girl goes and takes out her comforters from her washer. The comforters were clearly stuffed into the smaller washer to possible save money? I don't know, but they started dripping all over the floor as she pulled them out. The floor was drenched. Regardless, she took them out and moved them all the way across to the dryers.. meanwhile a trail of water formed behind her. This is when I found out she worked here. She went to the locked door to the side and got out a crap ton of floor towels and started trying to mop the floors with them. I mean, she got the water that was covering the floors but failed to even attempt drying the floor underneath the dryers where water had also gone. So she "cleaned up" then threw the towels back. She went to the locker door in the middle, unlocked it, got the remote and just blasted the Spanish news channel. She looked at me as she did that. I made a face because the loud volume startled me. So the logical thing to do here is turn it down a bit, but this lil shit turned up the volume even higher. Whatever; I'm drying my clothes now. But, she's literally been looking at me while on the phone this whole time. From across the room. I don't know what to do at this point, it's just creepy. I know I'm just frustrated and ranting, but this is like the 3rd time I've come in here and had this happen to me. She just keeps inching closer and does everything close to me, even though I come at early or odd hours when no one else is here or it is not as crowded. read more

I went here to try a new place since my on site laundry is always busy. But I'm very disappointed by my experience. They had several men who seemed to be hanging out for hours and hours and having a heated conversation. It was uncomfortable so I waited in my car, upon getting home I noticed a some of my things were missing, mostly anything I owned that was name brand. This place is AWFUL!!! Half the machines are out of order, the one's that aren't you can't even see the buttons and I took my clothes out of the washer and half of them were still dry!!!! Clearly my 3 seperate loads I did didn't wash my clothes at all. Horrible! Get new machines you're operating a business act like it. Thanks for wasting my time and money. Definitely the best laundromat I've found in the area. They have SO many machines in all different sizes, so whether or not you want to wash a huge comforter or just a few things they have you covered. Because they have so many machines even at a busy time like the weekend there are still plenty to be used. Also, the dryers seem to dry much faster than others. It's $4.25 for the huge machine, which I fit a month's worth of dirty clothes into. I believe it is $.25 for 10 minutes of drying time. read more

One of the cleanest laundromats I've been to in the San Fernando Valley. Parking is good. The washers are fairly new in that they have a timer on them which is nice so you know how long it will take. The dryer I used got hot quickly and after about 30 minutes my load was done without having to dump more money in for additional time. The bathroom wasn't bad but I noticed it's frequently used by the Hispanic gentlemen standing on the corner across the street looking for non-taxed work, so if you gotta go, you'll have to wait your turn for them to finish they're business - keep your fingers crossed that they didn't dump last night's chimichanga right before you settle in to pinch one out. Apparently that kid Daniel below my review doesn't know how to use a dryer, but for every $0.25 you insert, it gives you 10 minutes. Dump in a $0.75-$1.00 and you're set for a load. If I could do my laundry at home I would. This place is a pain in the ass every single time I go. There's a sign that says not to use the coin machine and that the machine is broken. There's no attendant. You have to go to the liquor store and they tell you to go back and look for the attendant. When the attendant finally shows up she tells you to use the coin machine??????? I lose at least 5 items EVERY SINGLE TIME because the washing machine destroys them. Today I lost another two shirts that were new because the machine leaks detergent or burns it or WHATEVER, and the attendant obviously couldn't care less unless they are micromanaging everything you do in every waking moment. I've been here at least 7 times and every time is terrible. The only benefit is that my clothes are SOMETIMES usable after washing here. Go somewhere else. read more

I wash my clothes at this laundry mat on a regular bases. There's always someone there cleaning all the machines and if there's any issues the liquor store is in charge and they will do their best to help and solve any problem. Love that the change machine takes $20 bills. read more

I liked this one because they had a lot of machines but they had a limited number of large washers and I often found this place to be very crowded. I was in the area for a dentist appointment and rather than brave traffic back to the Westside, I decided to do my laundry in the area. So my experience here was a one time thing, but I must say, I wish this laundromat was closer to me! It was clean, all the washers and dryers seemed new, there were lots of benches to sit on while you waited (and a mini-mart next door if you wanted a snack.) Plus ample space to fold your laundry and lots of laundry carts. Pretty much everything you look for in a laundromat was here! Dependable and consistent. I flew into John Wayne and took all my laundry here cuz it's the cleanest place I've found and quick. Faster than doing 4 loads at home and I watch TV to depressurization. The attendant (very nice hard working woman, been here for many years) takes care of the entire place by herself. The dryers are always hot and takes minimum change to evaporate all that moisture- including down comforters. This used to be the cleanest, friendliest laundromat in town . but over the past year they have gone sharply downhill, dramatically raising their machine prices, shortening the drying times, and on my most recent visit approximately 1/3 of their basic washers were out of order, forcing you to use the larger more expensive ones. The lady inside the laundry drop-off area (apparently a family member of the liquor store owner next door) is incredibly unfriendly and unresponsive as well. This is the laundry spot I go to every week to wash my clothes . And might be my last . Came in there last Saturday , washed all my clothes so I wash my pants separately then my shirts and like towels and jackets so all my clothes were dry I thought I got all of them , but I forgot my pairs of good pants and work pants because I had to re wash my jackets because got lipstick all over it because I left my lipstick in the washer so I was so focused on getting that back in the wash that I must have gotten distracted for maybe about 5 mins and then I went to put my other clean clothes in my car and I realized my pants were not in the dryer or the bin ??? So I knew then that someone must have stolen it ? And it makes me so upset that people are like that . Because if I would have seen that person do it it would be another story . Used the facility because the hotel laundry room was weird. My husband and I had fun doing laundry once a week here. It only took an hour and the place was clean. The liquor/deli store is a great place to have dinner. The attendants were always nice and so were the customers. read more

This laundromat is convenient but not very pleasant. The person who works in the evening is quite rude and watches television for her own amusement. The volume is turned up excessively loud and when my friend asked her to lower the volume, she went in the back room and purposely made it louder. She is rude and acts is though people are inconveniencing her when doing their laundry. read more

We are from out of town and was here for the first time. The lady works there is very friendly and helpful to help us to choose and operate the right machine for our big load. Normally a fine place to do laundry, have been coming here for 5 years. The staff is generally friendly and helpful. This morning I got there shortly after open to beat the crowds. A homeless man came in to do laundry, which is fine, everyone's gotta do laundry. But he wouldn't keep his mask on. Kept walking up to people and ranting and raving(maskless). A few people gathered their things and left. I was trying to avoid him, which he seemed to notice. I eventually decided to leave before my clothes were dry after staff told him multiple times to wear a mask and threatened to kick him out(which upset him) but he didn't comply(and didn't get kicked out). I waited for him to go out to his car to go in to get my damp, half dried clothes and go home, when he followed me in to the dryer I was using and started slamming the dryer door my clothes were in. I grabbed my things and headed for the door not wanting to further provoke him and he started yelling about "winning again", being "the greatest", and being "Muhammad Ali". I get that it's a tough spot for the staff to be in, enforcing this, but until they figure out what to do about him I'm done going there. It sounded like he goes there often and they regularly have problems with him. Got up at 6:15am to do laundry and now I have damp clothes hanging on every knob and hook in my apartment. read more

As a laundromat, I've been here two times and both times I start putting clothes in a machine that turns out to be out of order. As a fluff and fold service, there are signs all over that cheerily tell you about the time you save if you let them do your laundry for you. I decide to bring in my laundry and went up to the window and was greeted with a a bark from behind saying "not today". I turned around and said "oh, I can pick it up anytime". And then she grumbles "not today". Thinking that surely there's just a language barrier, I slowly reply "I don't need it today I'm in no rush I just want to drop it off. The reply was not today, and no drop off! Not being used to such stellar customer service and growling, and refusing business, I happily went on my merry way down Alameda to a place that appreciated my business. read more

I really like this place, always clean, attendant, peak times it's packed. According to the attendant, they open at 6am, 7 days. I came on a Sunday morning at 630, and their doors were locked. VERY inconvenient for me, seeing as I have a newborn and can't be traveling from place to place. Cannot find an actual listing of their hours anywhere, online or on the window. This place was fantastic :) !!!! They had HOT water (our old laundromat had lukewarm water, at best) and our clothes actually came out clean :D !!!! The dryer ran for 10 minutes for a quarter (not like our old one - where it only went 8 minutes for a quarter), and our mid-sized load only needed 50 cents!! In addition, it was nice and clean, and didn't have any overpowering tv or radio. It also had some cute little signs and a popcorn machine that makes 1 tub at a time :) !! read more
