This is a great location, and there are awesome views from this rooftop bar in Barcelona. You can see Casa Mila and La Sagrada, while sipping beverages and enjoying tasty food. We were staying in the Hotel Condes de Barcelona, and Alaire was one of the big reasons I chose that hotel and that location. We were not disappointed!

Our team had finished a long week of working an event and headed into Barcelona proper for a wrap-up dinner. Our reservation wasn't until later, so we looked in the area for a rooftop bar. We used the very scientific method of walking down the street and looking for lights at top of buildings. We found this place on top of the Condes de Barcelona hotel and took the elevator to the roof. We didn't have a reservation, but we were in the earlier side and said we just wanted a drink, so we were promptly shown seats along the wall at the roofline, overlooking the lights and facing La Sagrada Familia (in the distance). The featured drink menu isn't really extensive, but I think they've got a full bar and can mix whatever you like: at least a lot of gin, whiskey tequila, vodka, rums, etc along with a beer and wine list. I tried a non-alcoholic Negroni from the "Cocktails 0,0" section. It lacked the bite of the "full" version and was more sweet than bitter. It was interesting but not worth ordering again. Service was fast and payment was easy. The view was nice, especially given the early holiday lights above the streets below.

Beautiful rooftop bar with tapas and lunch items. Service was very good which is hard to come by in this city. We started with a couple of drinks. Our waiter recommended the St Germain Spritz when we were thinking of ordering an Aperol spritz. I ended up liking it because it is refreshing and less sweet than the aperol. The cocktail portion is huge. You can definitely share with someone. For our food we ordered the quinoa salad which came with Avocado and pesto sauce. We added chicken to it which made it so filling and tasty. My son ordered 3 Mexican tacos which he thought had a kick to them but good. The view is beautiful to take pictures with the sagrada familia or Casa Milà in the background.

Food and drinks were very good, we got patatas bravas, chicken fingers and nachos between 5 people. Cannot fault the food, delicious with plenty for all of us, as well as the cocktails. However, when we arrived we were seated in the shade, we asked if we could sit outside in the sun for our drinks which was fine until whenever we decided we wanted into the shade for food, we received a cold response. We also had to go inside multiple times to get a waiter to come and take our orders for both food and drinks, they did not approach us without being prompted once. I do think it could be with lack of respect for younger people as we are aged 25-29, I don't believe the attitude would be the same for middle aged adults. All in all disappointing service but nice ambiance, great views, great food and great drinks! Would definitely come back as maybe it's just a case of having a bad day! No hard feelings!

Most people come here for the rooftop experience and deservedly so! The views are incredible and the food is very tasty. The service could be improved though. I do understand that the staff has to deal with a lot of tourists however, they're guests as well and should be treated with more kindness and less attitude.

The view of the street was perfect for observing the parade below. The potato dish and cheesecake were amazing!

ahhh this place!!! So amazing!!! During our time in Barcelona we wanted a rooftop bar experience since it is so common there. This is the one!! The drinks: FANTASTIC. and best of all.. THE VIEW! wow. Clear view of Sagrada Familia and Casa Mila. Made my architect heart happy. Do yourself a favor and go to this place! Especially at night. Cannot recomment enough. Don't believe me? Watch the video and look at that delicious Piña Colada.... yum.

Great service and an awesome view. Great for sunset watching or for just a drink with friends... Alaire has a great cocktail menu and a nice wine list. The terrace has a great view of La Sagrada Familia and from here you can seat and relax. The ambiance is modern and chick. Crowd is mixed.

Best cocktails we've had here thus far! I loved the views and the fine salt on my margarita! Super pricey though, $35 usd for two cocktails!

Good food, rooftop view in Barcelona. Allows smoking but it is also outdoors. Very convenient, just above Hotel Conde de Barcelona

I came around 5pm on a Saturday, and it only took 20 minutes to get in. The bartenders were super friendly and spoke english which was a bonus. Their menu is constantly changing, so I forget the names of the drinks we ordered, but I also ordered a regular old fashion and they nailed it. I noticed another guest being a little rude to one of the bartenders. She was complaining about her drink so they made a new one, and another one after that. Had it been me, I probably would've gave up and asked them to leave lol, but they did not. Instead the opposite, which is very telling of the type of service you'll receive at this place. Overall this was my favorite cocktail bar in Spain, would I go again? Absolutely!

"How did they make this taste like that?" But for enjoying some twists on craft cocktail making? Not so great. Despite a wall full of both rare and classic bottles, most of what's featured on the menu is...eccentric at best. I had two after discussion with the bartender, and both were okay but not what I would enjoy drinking despite having a very broad palate. Although famously ranked by "50 best", this is a lot different than other cocktail bars on that list (I've visited quite a few of them), including the others in Barcelona. Perhaps having hit the number one spot before, they didn't know where to go from there? Nice staff but also missing was bartender banter (at least in English) I've found at most top bars - the bar experience is heavily about that interaction, especially for the solo customer. A positive - drinks are actually cheaper than fancy hotel bars in this city. What they offer *would* be great as a liquid tasting menu and I would return for that. But for full sized cocktails? Meh. Hence the 3 stars. Save it for a date or a "famous bars" crawl, but not for having delicious drinks that tickle the palate while getting the job done.

Wow did we want to give this place 5 stars…read more The bartenders were great and welcoming and the decor was very cool. It is a pleasant place to be physically. All of the cocktails we tried were excellent (we had two more not featured on photos here). We went Sunday 4/19 around open (5pm ish until 7:30 ish). However, our experience was sort of ruined when a female employee came over and chided my wife and two other American patrons we were talking to for being too loud. They weren't being particularly loud and at this point we were the only four people sitting at the bar itself. She was not a bartender (at that time at least) and she completely ruined our vibe with this complaint. She had been eyeing one of the other American patrons we had been talking to before she came over and confronted my wife after she laughed. The bar tenders didn't seem to be aware this happened and when we were closing out they remarked they didn't think we had been loud and that they like their guests to have fun. This female employee apparently didn't get the memo! We sense that perhaps she just dislikes Americans, which would be rich for working at an establishment like this! She also had no issues when a dog other guests brought in barked loudly multiple times, each time silencing the entire bar because the barks were so booming. The other American couple felt the same way -- the stern talking to just ruined the experience for all four of us. So... great spot but our experience was unnecessarily tarnished by a jerk employee!!!
