Beautiful view

One of the cooler rooftops in Barcelona. It wasn't busy at all so there were a lot of available seats. They had a small pool as well not that anyone was in it. It is beautiful in there with awesome views. One negative is that they have extremely slow service. They let you relax here but if you are waiting for a drink you may be waiting a while. They have booths as well if you are looking for that. Overall, it was a good time but be prepared to wait for a drink! Relax and enjoy the view!

LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! Ohla Terraza is a perfect place to relax, enjoy a drink and take in a bird's eye view of the beautiful city of Barcelona. I have now been to Europe 3 times and this was my absolute favorite place I have been to so far. There is just something so special about the relaxing, chic, hip, yet non-pretentious atmosphere that exists here. Upon arriving at the Ohla Hotel property, one must take the elevator to the 8th floor rooftop lounge, where the chill out bar is located. There you'll find a bar that offers a variety of cocktails, beers and wines along with a stunning sight of the city. The music has a nice chill house feel, my favorite. The server here only spoke spanish, no english. That made me even happier as I got a chance to bust out my Spanish skills and order up a few glasses of wine. My mom and i really enjoyed this place. For me personally, it's hard to describe how incredible and fantastic this place is. I just loved everything about it. There is a pool on the roof top and the water was surprisingly warm when I dipped my hand in, but it seems to be more popular on hot days. On cool evenings, most people just chill on the lounge chairs or up on the bar. I will definitely be back again while in the city, perhaps a bit later next time to see how the crowd is. In all honesty, if I lived here, I would come here every single day to enjoy all it has to offer, and I suggest everyone else check it out too if this is your scene.

Very creative and tasty drinks! First class view of Barcelona. The bartender suggested a drink (passion fruit and coffee) and it turned out just as phenomenal as he described.

The food was fantastic and I really loved the cozy and quaint atmosphere in this place. Even though we don't speak Spanish it was easy to talk with out wait staff. I was impressed how efficiently they served our large group of ~30!

Like most of the restaurants in this city it has charm. Dim lighting, brick walls and columns and red upholstered chairs with wooden tables gave this place an intimate setting that was perfect for a few drinks and a tapa while having a conversation. We ordered a dirty martini extra, extra dirty along with a mojito and cod croquettes. Both drinks were on point, my mojito was classic mint just the way I like it, Havana club rum, sugary and refreshing. The martini was well above average with 3 extra olives. The star of the show was the cod croquettes, made with a delicious creamy cod filling, with a red pepper aioli sauce that put an explosion of flavor in our mouths! If it wasn't for us tapa hopping and trying to eat our way through Barcelona we would have ordered more but it was extremely delicious.

We got great seats at the bar. Our bartender (David, I think) was very friendly, knowledgeable, and skilled. The menu is a light-up book that has fun illustrations and useful descriptions in it, including flavors, alcohol level, and a drawing of the cocktail itself. I really like when menus show this much info. Our first round was the Subterranium and Atlantide. They were both delicious and interesting flavors. They also came with tiny bites and in interesting glassware. Our second round, the Ramses and Great Gatsby, were similarly interesting, but we liked them a bit less. David gave us some gratis truffle amaro (also delicious) on the way out. I highly recommend a stop, especially if you can sit at the bar.

I came around 5pm on a Saturday, and it only took 20 minutes to get in. The bartenders were super friendly and spoke english which was a bonus. Their menu is constantly changing, so I forget the names of the drinks we ordered, but I also ordered a regular old fashion and they nailed it. I noticed another guest being a little rude to one of the bartenders. She was complaining about her drink so they made a new one, and another one after that. Had it been me, I probably would've gave up and asked them to leave lol, but they did not. Instead the opposite, which is very telling of the type of service you'll receive at this place. Overall this was my favorite cocktail bar in Spain, would I go again? Absolutely!
