I interviewed 4 different surgeons (that came highly recommended) and then chose Dr. James Gregory…read more He was the only doctor of the 4 that tested my rotator cuff in the way that caused the pain, muscle weakness and lack of range of motion that I had been experiencing. I LOVED his bedside manner. He was not arrogant, and he did not rush me. He truly cares. He listened to me and answered all of my questions. He operated on my left shoulder 5 weeks ago. I took pain pills for one day following my surgery and then started to feel better and better each day following surgery. After 5 days, I was back to work typing on my computer and three weeks after surgery #1, I went back to him to operate on my left shoulder. (Both shoulders had labrum tears, rotator cuff tears, and bicep tendonitis.) After one week post-op on shoulder #2, I was able to return to many of my previous activities. I have four children, so I need to be able to care for them, and I can! I am an athlete, so I want to return to my sport pain-free with increased range of motion,. I am doing rehab and feel very optimistic about making a full recovery. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Gregory. He is humble and kind and clearly a skilled and gifted surgeon. My top choice for sure!

Through Dr. Gregory, I was also linked with an excellent OT hand therapist (Dr. James King, Action PT) Today on Natl. Gratitude Day, I want to express my sincere thanks for the excellent care! The absolute BEST! I consider myself a professional patient as I am a stage four melanoma survivor…read moreand have also had five surgeries on one knee Thru the last 20 years. I was also hit last year head on twice in 6 months by drunk drivers. Broke both wrists, ( and of course I am a photographer) spine and neck and head injuries. So when I say these guys are the best I mean it. I have seen two docs and their PA's. I was called on time. Everyone from the front desk to the back is so kind and professional. The docs and PA's take time to discuss everything with you. Options etc. I can feel their compassion for my pain and injuries. These are real PRO's. I went to South Texas Bone and Joint in Corpus Christi and saw three docs there for spine, knees and wrists that all need surgeries. That place and the doctors were a nightmare. And you are there waiting for hours. Then they gave me three min. It's like night and day here compared to them. I drove from Port Aransas to here and will continue. I feel like I am in good hands and feel safe with the two docs here so far. Awesome!!!!!!

Dr. Fisher is Super professional at how he does things. He doesn't push you into surgery even…read morethough you know you need it but instead asks you a lot of questions and gives you tons of information letting you make an informed decision about what to do. I don't feel like a number in his office as I have in many other dr offices where I have waited an hour in the waiting room and then over an hour more in the actual patient room before seeing the dr who comes in quickly says hi and then basically leaves. I got in quickly to see Dr Fisher and he immediately sat down across from me and started a conversation with me about my knee. It just felt like we were old friends. I never felt rushed and felt completely comfortable asking him any questions I needed knowing he would answer them honestly with years of experience. I need both of my knees replaced at the same time due to my job, and while no other Dr I've heard of would even entertain this, Dr Fisher said that not only could it be done but that he had done it before! He did however explain the added risks, recovery time, added complexity of the dual knee replacement PT, and added pain which of course I greatly appreciated unfortunately even though I'd prefer to do them separately I just don't have that as an option. My right knee is the worst as I had an ACL removed in 1984, but found out 12 years ago that the dr that did the surgery also accidentally removed my meniscus also, so I've been bone to bone since 84. The left knee has been used to compensate and therefore also may need replacement. After getting an X-ray done quickly in his office Dr. Fisher told me the left one may be ok for now so since he already knew the right one needed replacement he only ordered an MRI on the left one to see if surgery was even necessary. I appreciated this as a one knee MRI will be much cheaper for me than both. I will update this review after my surgery. This is not the first time that I've seen Dr. Fisher. I also saw him once earlier last year before I had 5 discs fused together in my neck from a car accident. My neurosurgeon wanted to make sure the pain in my shoulder was from my neck and not an additional problem in my shoulder. Dr Fisher was who he recommended and I was glad he did! He did an inter office X-ray and in office observation and testing to determine that my shoulder was sound so I could continue with my neck surgery. I remembered then how professional he was, how he spoke on my level where I could understand him, and never talked down to me as some doctors do. I told him there on the spot that I was going to need knee replacement soon and that once my neck was done I'd like him to do it. Normally I research surgeons extensively before making a decision of who I will let cut on me, but I knew when I met Dr. Fisher that there would be no one else that I'd ever let do it but him. See Dr. Fisher and you will see EXACTLY what I am talking about. He is truly one of a kind in every way! Thank you sooo much Dr. Fisher for taking the time to visit with me, explain all of my options, be honest enough to even explain how painful this is going to be, and honoring the decision that I made on how I'd like to proceed. I've seen sooo many different doctors throughout my entire life many who were very good like the world renowned neurologist I've seen for 50 years, but NEVER have I seen anyone who holds a candle anywhere near you when it comes to honesty, integrity, compassion, thoroughness, and quality of care than you! I'm soo blessed to have found you! If you're having any kind of joint problems see this guy as he's truly the Best! As you can see I don't leave many reviews so when I do it's either amazingly good or horrifically bad usually the latter. Dr. Fisher is BEYOND AMAZINGLY GREAT!!!

First let me start out by saying that I have had moderate to severe pain in my lower back and right…read moreleg for approximately 30 years. I have been to several doctors (three) over the years to have this issue resolved. In general, all of the doctors said that this problem could not be permanently fixed, but they could help me manage my pain. I will never know if I was responsible for not getting the care I needed because I chose doctors with the wrong medical specialties, nevertheless less I decided to take a different approach. I called Dr Mark Prasarn an Orthopedic Spine Surgeon. After Speaking with Dr. Prasarn, I left his office feeling inspired. Nothing was fixed yet, but I was filled with hope. Dr. Prasarn said the cause of my back pain was Spondilolithesis. He also said that it wasn't as bad as some others that he has seen in the past and that the surgery could fix my problem. I really appreciate the fact that he spent a considerable amount of time with me that day. Dr. Prasarn has a very methodical approach regarding care. He first recommended that I try physical therapy, if there was little to no change in my pain level we would then move on to pain management. If the pain level persists, we would try surgery. It is good game plan for him to start with the least invasive strategies until he could provide a decision that matched my personal needs. I did eventually have surgery. After just two weeks from the day of my surgery the pain was completely gone. I waited four months to write this review because I wanted to see if there would be any recurring issues concerning my back pain. I am happy to report that I feel great!! I have not experienced any pain (nothing!). For me this surgery has been life changing. I can't tell you all the special accommodations that were made for me just to take a walk. I feel very lucky to have found Dr. Prasarn a very good doctor and really a very nice person. He has the credentials and it is very obvious that he has a strong desire for helping people. For me, he was just the right person at the right time. I highly recommend Dr. Prasarn if you are experiencing any back pain that requires professional help

He said the multiple herniations in my neck were "Something everyone over 30 has. It's normal." Really? The doctor who ordered the MRI told me she felt like I needed to see a surgeon at this point because it's been 15 years of pain, and my problems are getting worse every year. I have tried everything. Literally everything to help my pain. I have spent so much money in pain management. All they did for me today was give me pain pills which I didn't want at all bc I can't even take them at work.
