While the doctor and staff are very nice, I don't like how I wait anywhere between 30-50 minutes after my appointment time before seeing the doctor. Be sure to bring a book or homework/real work to keep yourself busy while you sit in the examination room. If they could decrease waiting time, they would be a solid 5-star office.

They take x-ray's in-house too. My doc seemes really good, but it's just expensive for me to keep going back for follow-up's. (oh, Obamacare, I support you in theory but my costs have risen and I can't really afford to see a doctor with these high deductibles.) You can park in the garage off of Kingsride.

I recently went to Dr. James Gregory for a shoulder issue that has been bothering me since June. They were able to take imaging in the office prior to my examination, do measurements of my ROM and strength to rule out the source and cause of my biceps pain . Would highly recommend all the MD's at this practice to family and friends.

We had a little bit of a wait, but with as many patients as we saw in the waiting room, it really wasn't bad. The ladies in the front had everything running like a well oiled machine and with me filling out paperwork ahead of time and also being able to pay in advance, we had no clipboard full of papers to go over and we didn't have to show anything other than our ID. Once in the room, Dr. Gary Brock came in and was friendly. He immediately introduced himself to me and my husband and then tried to interact with my toddler who just wasn't having it. That's no fault of Dr. Brock... he's just a two year old who doesn't like being in one spot longer than 32.7 seconds lol. Dr. Brock DID manage to get a high five and as he was looking at my son's legs and hips, he was talking to us about what he was looking for and what he saw. He was also being as playful as my little guy would allow in his annoyance of not being on the run. My husband went with my son to get a couple x-rays and just about the time I thought we'd be doing some more waiting, Dr. Brock was already back with copies of the X-rays telling us everything looked good. He made sure that we got his card with his personal number on it and encouraged us to send him any videos of our son walking/running if we saw something that didn't look/feel right. He said he didn't want us to have to bother making an appointment and coming all the way to the office if he could help us over a text or call. Even though our initial wait was longer than a two year-old would prefer, we spent a grand total of 1.5 hours from the time we got our parking garage ticket to the time we were back in the car. Not bad for seeing a specialist on a busy Thursday.

With 28 years in healthcare leadership, I was highly impressed by the flow of operations…read more Sometimes in healthcare, we forget how confusing the process can feel for patients - but Fondren Orthopedic Group truly has this on lock. It is one of the best, most seamless experiences I've seen. Our 5th floor visit went extremely well. From check-in to check-out, everyone was attentive, professional, and genuinely helpful. The 2nd floor visit was a bit different. At check-in, the young man appeared to be disengaged or bothered which is the person that checked us in and the young lady sitting next to him was preoccupied with her cell phone. While some may not notice, it was clear: head down, hands moving, and unaware that patient standing right in front of them. This comes across as disrespectful. A simple shift - putting phones away and being present - would make a significant difference. Aside from that, the care and service on the 2nd floor matched the excellence of the 5th floor. Overall, this is a great team of people and kudos to the hiring manager for building such a strong group. Sincerely E. L. Usher & Daughter Eva Alcorn

I had the complication of an allergic reaction to the surgical dressing. The surgery was on November 29th it was not until Dec 7th that I was allowed to see anyone at this clinic to determine what the complication was. There was an itching stinging blistering rash under the bandage spreading over the leg which increased my pain level. I made constant calls to the clinic to try to get assistance and left voice messages. They would not return the calls. Because I am in a skill nursing facility the emergency center phone number on this clinic's number - it says press 0 - would not call my doctor or an ambulance for further assistance they said there was a process the facility would follow and I explained they would not finally a person there set an appointment with me for a physician assistant and I saw them yesterday. All others kept saying you have an appointment on the 14th they didn't care that the surgical area was infected as I thought it was. So this clinic only offers regular follow-up care they offer no follow-up care for complications or emergencies of any kind.
