I found Dr. Odetunde online and called for an appointment. The secretary wasn't the friendliest, but she was still definitely nice. To my surprise, Dr. Odetunde was available for basically any time slot I wanted. At first, this worried me a little bit. After all, shouldn't a good doctor have a lot of other patients to see? I chalked it up as luck and scheduled an appointment for the next morning. The office is located right off of 610, just west of the Bennigan's and Ford dealership (right around Fannin I think?), in one of those huge office buildings. I didn't wait long at all, and Dr. Odetunde ended up being one of the nicest doctors I've ever met. She immediately figured out my problem (spasms) and sent me off with a couple of prescriptions and an x-ray order. After this visit, I saw her again for some sleeping problems and some injuries I got in a car accident. She remembers her patients and is very knowledgeable. I recommend her to anyone :) Now that I'm living in Ft. Worth, I miss having her as my doctor, even though I only saw her for a couple of months!

They called me while I was in a meeting, though it only rang 2-3 times with no voicemail left to indicate what additional information was needed. I attempted to call them back twice to discuss the issue and no one answered and there was no voicemail box for me to leave a message so they cancelled my appointment. It's incredibly frustrating and disappointing to make an appointment for an issue and the office not answer multiple call attempts to resolve an issue that is unclear in the first place.

On top of that, Dr. Maldonado is not the type who will push one type of treatment without being thorough with your check up. What I don't appreciate is when medical practitioners get offended when you ask questions, or challenge theories when it comes to your own health. It is my body and my life, I think every patient should ask questions and challenge conventional theories. I have a thyroid issue. I am trying to find ways to heal it. I have been seeing Dr. Horsefield for maybe 5 years now, and have noticed passive aggressiveness before... but what I recently experienced is clearly unacceptable. I saw him for my regular annual appointment 3 months ago. My TSH levels were too high, so I got on some thyroid supplements and we retested about 6 weeks later. The results came in and the TSH levels were too low. I have since readjusted my medication and sent him an email politely asking if he could order the bloodwork to retest my levels so I can ensure i am now healthy and found the right balance. His response was callous. I have attached a photo with the passive aggressive response, where he makes it clear that he wont put the test in the system because he doesn't get paid for "answering emails, ordering tests, reviewing tests, communicating test results and maintenance of records" ..... REALLY? Aren't those tasks associated with being a doctor? I would be happy to pay him, for me it isn't about the money at all. In addition, clearly SOMEONE is getting paid when I order these lab tests because I'm charged thousands of dollars for them. All I need though is the bloodwork.... and he doesn't have availability for 2 months!?! I'm extremely disappointed that someone in the healthcare field is so much more concerned about their wallet than their patients health. Also if he wanted to charge me a processing fee that is fine, but his solution is clearly not in my best interest to wait 2 months and potentially do irreversible damage to my body.

I decided to Google the business name & Dr Coco Williard was described as an internist & pediatrician so she can see my child as well as my husband & me. I called & easily made an appointment at my desired time. Dr Williard is very personable & I liked her from the get go. She is easy to talk to, makes you feel comfortable & at ease but most importantly, she takes her time during the appointments & appear to be genuinely passionate about helping/treating her patients. I've seen Dr Williard a handful of times (either for myself or my child) & each visit is pleasant & never rushed. She listens to & addresses all my concerns & that's important to me in a primary care physician because most of the doctors I've seen dismissed my concerns. I would definitely recommend Dr Williard if you're looking for a PCP or pediatrician. There is plenty of parking & the waiting room is spacious & clean. The front desk ladies & medical assistants are also nice. My only complaint would be the lack of toys or children's books in the waiting room to distract or occupy the kids as they wait. I usually bring my own books to keep the little one occupied. The medical assistant or Dr Williard might bring your kid a book or two once you're called back into the examining room though.
