But they don't like the feed back on my 2nd review. That just shows my point, they have no conflict management skills. Just make a better effort to communicate better. And I would have gladly updated once I experienced an improvement. This has never happened to me, but I have already found another PCP and didn't plan on going back. Growth is inevitable, whether they took this opportunity to provide better service in this instance or not. It will happen again to another patient. They can stay comfortable, kicking ppl out that are dissatisfied. But that not how you run an effective business or grow. Whoever is in charge should know this.

My mucus switched back from green to clear in no time. I can sleep again. I'm grateful to Dr. Manuel. On my first visit, he spent much more time with me than any other doctor ever has. He got a clear picture of my family's medical history, from which we discussed my possible risks. He followed up with an emailed order for blood work, and which we had also discussed during the visit. He displayed a genuine concern for my overall well-being. I look forward to him being my physician for years and years to come.

Dr. Kovacs changed my life. I had stomach problems all my life and it got to the point where it was affecting my education because i was missing so much school. My two previous doctors refused to test me for anything and blamed my stomach problems on nerves, even though I was doing well in school despite being absent so frequently. I finally switched doctors to Dr. Kovacs and, for the first time, i felt listened to. She tested me for multiple things and gave me confidence that we would find the source of my health problems. Turns out I have celiacs, an autoimmune disease where my body attacks itself when I ingest gluten. I had absorbed that i was just an "anxious person" and i would have carried that definition of myself as truth if not for her. With a relatively minor dietary change, i was able to get my normal life back and finish school. I am still angry at the incompetence of my previous doctors, but also forever grateful for having Dr.Kovacs. I still recommend her whenever one of my Houston friends is looking for a primary care physician. Thank you, Dr. Kovacs!

I've had to leave numerous VMs and ONLY after leaving a rude message, does he ever call me back. As someone mentioned, she does have a medical home fee (which IS listed prominently on her website, by the way) and that fee is something becoming more common with doctors today. Why? Insurance has not only run up costs for consumers but for practitioners as well. That fee ensures that she has the bandwidth to care for her patient load. While I'm not someone who loves to part with my money, I welcome this commitment to her practice because it ensures that our doctor can do their job without financial and logistical barriers.

I had already had x-rays and exams and no one could explain what was wrong. Within a few visits with Dr Banik my tailbone was not hurting !!! It has been 9 months and I am still pain free! As soon as I have anything I know I won't get an answer from my primary for I make an appointment with Dr. Banik. For instance I ran over my heel with a buggy and my whole foot was hurting.
