This was…read morea 2-hour appt that I scheduled far in advance and required me to completely juggle my work schedule. I even confirmed the appointments 2 days previously following a text prompt. When I got to the PCCS office, they informed me that my 2 appointments had been cancelled and I must have done that by mistake when I confirmed. They could squeeze me in later in the day but that would not work with my schedule. Plus how do they think they can "squeeze" in a 2 hour set of appointments? Here is what is shady - they claimed that my appointments were cancelled at 7:41 am 2 days before. I was in a zoom meeting at that time. It wasn't me that did this. And the prompt that I got from them to confirm or cancel my appointments was at 9 am - so if it had already been cancelled why did they text me to confirm? This is really unprofessional. I will find a different pulmonary group.

As it turns out I have the mildest form and only need medication "as needed" and not as my PCP had prescribed, which was 3 x per day. Great office, great doctor, and Chris and Mary, and the rest of the staff are very friendly, very caring and professional. I learned a lot thanks to Dr. Honeycutt - who never rushes through his appointments, and Chris and Mary. Very, very helpful.

He stated he would prescribe medication to help me with the headaches and send it to my pharmacy. Medication was not sent, office was close. I had to suffer all weekend. Staff confused the CT Scan order, as well as the prescription. Barriga gave me two days off, when I requested more - he refused! I am a data analyst, with the headaches, memory lost, sensibility to light, not being able to see clearly and lost of comprehension skills- He placed me in a position to lose my job. When it came to receiving in my results, the doctor had his teenage receptionist call me to tell me everything is normal. That was it! I requested for the doctor to call me because I had concerns - He never called. Staff stated he refused to call. I requested my primary doctor Alicia to please call. No one called. It was the lowest feeling ever; to suffer from a head injury, have questions, only to be treated with such disregard by a specialist & my doctor. I was blind sided. I thought they were so kind. The lack of empathy and care was unbelievable. He did get paid a lot from my insurance company for his 10 mins. I end up seeing a neurologist specialist. Who has been kind to me. Returning to work caused more damage to my injury. I was placed in isolation with restrictions for a month. So my brain could heal. Five months later, I am still recovering.
